    a bowling alley at night
    Brandon M.

I bowled here once...and once was enough. You are immediately greeted by sketchy bar goers who are standing outside the doors, and having their smoke. When you enter the building, you must go down the stairs, and walk down the dark to get to the front desk/register. If you are brave enough to make it this far, then For $14 you can bowl for 1 hour, which also includes the shoe rental. There are no drinks available for purchase, except for the cash only vending machines. The only food there To offer, are frozen pizzas. anything else must be purchased on the second floor, from the bar.

Oh how I WISH THIS PLACE EXISTED IN NY!!!! Not only is it a huge bowling alley, its also a small casino with table games and a big bar area that does killer fun and organized trivia, and sex toy bingo!!! I mean come on, what more can you ask for?! Oh wait, they also have an awesome food special with pizza, breadsticks and pitcher of beer for $20. Wow, take me home you epitomy of local Fargo! This really is the spot for local browsing too and it was mighty interesting and more fun than any trivia night I've gone to before. Just want to say, that the 3 chupacabras from NY came in 2nd out of 15 teams, with the smallest team being us and the best brains being nearly us hahahah! But no joke, there was something fun and specials going on every night of the week here and if I lived in Fargo I know this would be the place my friends and I would be hitting up at least once a week. Go Bisons.

Fun place to hang out, have a drink, and bowl or play blackjack. A lot to do under 1 roof! Adult toy bingo on Friday nights is a riot!

Disappointed in the lanes. There is no slide to the finish of your throw. Seems a good way to get hurt

This is the only karaoke place I know of in the area, and there are many, where karaoke starts at the reasonable hour of 8 PM. Children are allowed with their parents or legal guardians in Harold's until 9 PM, so please bring the family. I wanted to meet Harold, but he was probably getting so much needed shut eye, perhaps 6 feet under; may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Anyway, back to life above ground , there were some singers whom I'm sure had many other gifts, and some singers with exceptional voices. The karaoke jockey, KJ, was friendly and did a good job encouraging applause and a good vibe. There were several notable duets by female female and male female, as well as many solos. This writer may have been the second oldest person in the bar, so he felt a wee bit out of place, but the waitress made him feel welcome as did a very friendly young man named Roman and his friend - - she had a beautiful single-syllable name but my memory is failing. There were pizza and jalapeño pickled eggs available, but this writer did not treat himself to either, so he can't rate the food.

I've really only have ever had beer or hop water, so I can comment on the drinks. They serve the Heggie's (frozen) pizza in a couple sizes, and that type of pizza always tastes good at a bar after a couple of drinks.

We were initially told $15 per lane per hour in person, then they called me the next day to say the person quoted me wrong, and it's actually $20. After the event, I found I was charged $35. When I talked to the scheduler the next business day, she confirmed that their corporate rate is actually $34. Here's the part I don't get: Their regular open bowling on a Saturday is $20. I asked the scheduler what the benefit of reserving lanes would be if I'm going to be charged nearly twice as much. Her response was just a shrug. She said the pamphlet we were given at the time of booking was an "old" pamphlet with their "previous" pricing, and their "new" pamphlets have the actual price... Even for open bowling pricing, it's different everywhere I look. Their website says one thing, their Facebook page says another, and yet another at the location in person. It's unfortunate because we had a good time there and people want to schedule it again, but not if they are going to run me around on the price.
