I have lived abroad in Asia for the past 1.5 years, and in San Francisco Bay Area for 8 years. I've taken ballet classes in San Francisco, Shanghai, Taiwan, Singapore, and I can confidently say that Sun-Mi is the best ballet teacher I've known, because she: 1- takes her adult students seriously, and invests in her adult students, by introducing tricks that she does with pre-professional students 2- individualizes the adult curriculum and classes based on students' personal needs, such as injuries 3- points out very subtle misalignment in your posture to help you improve 4- waves in core training in classes to help with pirouettes I came to Sun-Mi with a mild back pain due to child birth, and I was amazed that my back pain gone away after 3 months of classes and some private conditioning with her. It's way more complicated that I thought. Kelby & Michelle really make it work. I studied all weekend, passed the classroom exam, studied another week and passed the state exam on the first try. Not everyone can say that. I only know one other person who went to real estate school but it took her 4 tries to get past the state exam. I did NOT want that so I really shopped around. I couldn't be happier with this school. There is a surprising emphasis on integrity. It's refreshing.
