I've also had the yomassage service and it's sooooo relaxing, the stretching is awesome. An entire year went by with no mention of injury, or that my treatment might be affected by the results thereof. I had, in fact, already had barefoot therapy in a previous session with positive results, which I very openly shared. The bottom line here is that, despite my loyalty and thousands of dollars invested, I was not even given the courtesy of making a decision regarding my own healthcare. That type of presumption has no place in any health related profession. Additionally, having polled other service professionals, massage, hair, nails, etc...the response was the same; this was not appropriate behavior. Period. I'm happy you have learned from your actions, so hopefully no remaining and future clients will feel this level of dissatisfaction.

Staff checked us in via tablet alongside lemon-water. It's a tight lobby. The restroom is straight past the rooms in the back- to the left. Once it was time for my appointment, I was taken aside to discuss service needs. Once were in session, the sound of the ocean was played. I elected to have the Swedish Massage by Denise. A warmed towel, rod and heated lavender scented pillow were all incorporated. My neck wasn't feeling the massage headrest long term. So, I moved myself onto the bed completely. Do what you gotta do. The massage was helpful for releasing some knots around my shoulders and overall circulation. I also added the under eye patch treatment. The rooms are a curtain away from each other. So, note that once back near and/or in your room that the staff communicates in hushed whispers. I wasn't quite sure when the appointment was to start and finish. I feel like I blinked and it over. There's no lingering pain which is awesome. Parking available in the retail lot. Happy relaxing!

They're also very attentive to pressure and will adjust accordingly, which I really appreciate. I walk away feeling so much lighter every time. I usually get a combination of Thai and Swedish massage, which has been perfect for me. The space is clean, calm, and comfortable, and it's easy to find. Just note that it's on the second floor. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the massage. I've had such a great experience both times and highly recommend this place!

I agreed because I thought it would be a more controlled, therapeutic technique, but it ended up being extremely intense and made the experience uncomfortable. There was also a language barrier, which made it difficult to communicate that the pressure was too much or explain what I wanted. My husband also got a massage and felt that the pressure was a lot. This may be a good fit for someone who likes extremely deep, intense pressure, and I can't speak to their other types of massages, but I personally would not get the deep tissue massage here again.
