I have passed by this spot since their opening. I'd been meaning to try this place. My mom and I came here for the Mother's Day promotion. Staff checked us in via tablet alongside lemon-water. It's a tight lobby. The restroom is straight past the rooms in the back- to the left. Once it was time for my appointment, I was taken aside to discuss service needs. Once were in session, the sound of the ocean was played. I elected to have the Swedish Massage by Denise. A warmed towel, rod and heated lavender scented pillow were all incorporated. My neck wasn't feeling the massage headrest long term. So, I moved myself onto the bed completely. Do what you gotta do. The massage was helpful for releasing some knots around my shoulders and overall circulation. I also added the under eye patch treatment. The rooms are a curtain away from each other. So, note that once back near and/or in your room that the staff communicates in hushed whispers. I wasn't quite sure when the appointment was to start and finish. I feel like I blinked and it over. There's no lingering pain which is awesome. Parking available in the retail lot. Happy relaxing! read more

From start to finish, my experience at The NOW Massage Preston Forest location was beautiful. I'm always so relaxed as soon as I step foot inside their sanctuary. The front desk associate is so pleasant. Ana, my massage therapist, was so warm and calm upon meeting her which definitely translated to her massage skills. I got the prenatal massage as I'm 37 weeks with an active toddler at home so I really needed some deep relaxation. She was so gentle and just had the magic touch - a skill that is not learned but is innate. It put me to sleep which is rare for me as I do not take naps. She is so sweet, genuine, and made sure I was well taken care of. I truly appreciated the care and attention Ana gave. Called to book an appointment with no answer. Left a Voice mail. Got a text message that walked me through the booking process which was quite cumbersome. Struggled to select a therapist with a specific time. Got the "Not available" message repeatedly. Got through it and then it asked me to enter my credit card. Nope! your credit card cannot be saved in our system. What? I reentered it. Still the same. My credit card works just fine everywhere else. I then tried to book online and got similarly frustrated. Maybe it's just me but I don't think so. Can't I just call, talk to a human and book a time and choose among "Good" therapists that cater to my issues? Ana is an absolute gem! I have been going to The Now for about 2 years, beginning when I lived in Long Beach, CA. I enjoyed my massages at that location and was eager to try the Preston Forest location when I moved to Dallas in 2024. I have now been seeing Ana for over a year(!) at least once per month. She is professional, attentive, and extremely experienced. One of the front desk people said Ana's massages feel "so nurturing" and I wholeheartedly agree with that. As far as the experience - each Now has a very similar layout, with one large room and curtained partitions. I would recommend going on a weekday evening if you want something a little quieter. It's busier on the weekends, so it's understandable that you'd hear more shuffling and just other people's noise in general. The membership is SO worth it and I so look forward to my monthly massage. I sometimes even treat myself to extra massages, and it's awesome to get member pricing on every additional massage. I tell everyone who will listen that my massage membership will have to be pried from my cold, dead hands. TLDR; Ana is the best and the overall experience keeps me coming back! read more

Words can't describe my experience today at NOW Massage on Preston Forest. Rejuvenated? Revived? Renewed? Refreshed? To quote the R&B singer Stephanie Mills, "Baby, I feel good. I feel good all over!" I booked an 80-minute Healer massage with the following enhancements: Deep Tissue, Hemp Calm Balm, and Gliding Cupping. My massage therapist was Erica. We had a brief consultation beforehand, and I told her that my back was in knots, my neck and shoulders were always tight because I sit in front of a laptop all day, and that unless I say "Stop!", she should keep going! As the young kids say, she understood the assignment. The music in the background sounded like waves on the ocean. Angry waves, lol. But those waves drowned out any noise I would hear in the studio or my mind. I was in heaven. She found every kink and knot in my body. The only way she could have done better was if I drew an X on each part of my body that hurt. I wanted to kiss her hand. I actually held her hand when my time was up and thanked her for the massage. Although I didn't purchase a membership today, I am definitely considering it. I've had memberships with other massage franchises that I won't name, but this boutique felt different. When I came home, my boyfriend commented that I was sitting up straighter and joked, "What man was touching you that made you feel like that?!" I went here for a much needed deep tissue massage and it was perfect! I was a first time guest and had completed all of my paperwork online prior to my arrival. I went to the Preston location and didn't realize how small the waiting area was compared to other locations. But that wasn't a huge deterrent. Again, the waiting area was small so it was tight for at least 10 mins as myself and 4 other patrons were waiting. Once the therapists started calling customers back, it freed up space. There were products being sold like saga, crystals and jewelry but due to limited seating in the waiting area, I didn't explore the way I wanted. I received an 80 min deep tissue massage. It was super relaxing. The ambiance was perfect. I felt as if I was on a resort vs Dallas. It was everything! The therapist did her job and didn't try to hold a convo with me. She allowed me the relaxation that I really needed. Thankfully, there were no surprise fees at the end! I'm only giving it a 4 bc again, the waiting area was super small and had very limited seating and as a 1st time guest, the website advised I had the option of a free enhancement (deep tissue, heat therapy etc). Since I'd prepaid for deep tissue online, I was under the impression that I could add the heating pad for my neck and back as the free enhancement. I was told that wasn't applicable and THAT was highly disappointing. I wouldn't say I wouldn't go back but I'd likely try other spas around before going back. The ambiance is so relaxing the aromatherapy takes you to the beach type vibe. Definitely Los Cabo or Tullium Mexico if you have ever been. I was in quite a bit of pain from several large knots in my back muscle tissue. I decided to give 'The Now' a shot in helping me to rid myself of them. I chose Krystal because of the many wonderful reviews she had online. Believe me, I wasn't disappointed at all. Krystal consulted with me before starting the massage to make sure that she understood what I needed and wanted. She than began to work out all of my knots and applied just the right amount of pressure needed to get the job done. She doesn't try to converse with you while you're on the table, which I love. She successfully worked out the knots and consulted with me again after she finished the massage. It was a wonderful experience and I will be going back to Krystal monthly for a while to work on keeping those knots from returning. This place was so strange. It reeks of commercialism and so far from a healing massage experience. Expensive jewelry, candles and rocks in their pristine white lobby of luxury and opulence. Then you get taken to a dark curtained massage room where you can barely see and you can hear others beside you. No privacy and probably 20 massages taking place at the same time with only a curtain of fabric separating you from other strangers. I found it creepy. And only one air source through the entire building. It's all about maximizing profit hidden under the shroud of a "beach type massage." Bahaha It is so strange and it's obviously trendy and people are flocking but this was not my cup of tea. Over priced and my masseuse was young and inexperienced. I waited months to write this to really reflect on this disappointing and expensive experience. Not what I was promised when I requested a lymph drainage massage and they told me they had a masseuse trained in this technique. She was a nice young lady but had very little experience and seemed apologetic for the constant noises and interruptions of other people adjacent to us. This is a trendy place to say you've gone too perhaps but not a true massage location for healing and real relaxation. read more

I came in for the express massage after a busy morning working at the gym. Oh my goodness can we talk about that post massage bliss!! This is a great place to get your rejuvenation on. Very easy to make an appointment online (I made mine the day before) and just drop in. The concept is simple but wonderful if you are a city girl on the go like myself. I'll just say that Scott had magic hands he got right to where my trouble spots were and went to work. He actually reminds me of a therapist I went to for years. My masseuse was Mary and when I tell you this is the best massage I've ever had, oh my gosh. I got "The NOW" 50 minute massage and added on the herbal heat wrap. You truly cannot beat the price for the ambiance, quality, and experience. They even have a couple different membership options, which I signed up for post-massage (and saved $30)! This weekend I could tell I needed to get in from all the stress of the last week so I prioritized a time over a person. Lehmont was my masseuse and WOW. He recommended deep tissue once he started my massage and he was really great. He checked in to make sure the pressure was ok, he was very thorough and I felt so so much better the next day.
