The staff in the reception area is rude and dismissive. This has happened more than once, so it is not a fluke experience.

Here is the email I sent the organization after I interviewed, followed up 4 times in the span of a…read moremonth and was ghosted by them: Withdrawal from Consideration "Dear Mrs. (recruiter's name omitted), After considerable reflection, I have decided to withdraw my application and remove myself from any current or future consideration with Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare Systems. The lack of communication and closure throughout this process reflects a level of disregard that I find deeply unprofessional and as an HR professional I cannot and will not stand for the disrespect and/or taking candidate's time for granted as they try to, in good faith and effort, obtain employment. Candidates invest significant time, research, and effort engaging with potential employers and when that is met with silence and/or with "ghosting", it speaks volumes about an organization's values, internal culture, and lack of empathy. While I had genuine interest in the opportunity, I no longer wish to be affiliated with a company that treats prospective employees in this manner. I will be sharing my experience with my professional network to ensure others are aware of how Advanced Diagnostics Healthcare Systems conducts itself in its hiring practices. I cannot properly express the level of disappointment this experience has left, however, I do hope you and your team take corrective actions in the future to ensure "ghosting" does not continue to happen because in the long term and whether or not you believe it, the only thing you're truly damaging is your own business. Respectfully," So, apply at your own risk but know that this organization at least in my case, has demonstrated complete disregard for its candidate's time and effort. I will never apply nor support any organization or function related to this organization and as long as I work in the Houston area, I will advocate for anyone considering this group to consider it twice before joining. Just a few of the specifics -- - Completed all forms in advance as requested, apparently for no reason. Required to do them all again in office. Ok. - Left in a changing room for considerable time with zero indication of why there was a delay and how long it would last. Ok, not great, but still ok. - Demeaning and ridiculous quotes painted on the walls all over the offices (eg, 'the best makeup a woman can wear is a SMILE!') Hmm, moving towards the "not ok" line . . - The "not ok" line is breached: A care approach that essentially treats patients as idiots. - Just one example: the technician absolutely insisted that test results could only go to the patient's doctor and not to the patient. Had to speak to her supervisor to get confirmation that OF COURSE a patient is entitled to her own treatment records directly. When I asked the supervisor why the technician falsely insisted otherwise, the reply was "well, she just didn't know." Um, basic job training? These problems appear to be specific to this office. If you prefer to be treated as an intelligent person, and wish to avoid aggressively-delivered misinformation, avoid the facility on Fannin at all costs.

Only one (out of 6) actually said it to my face. The rest just made snide comments in the follow up notes. I guess Harris Health didn't get the memo that Public Healthcare meant providing Actual HHealthCARE to the public. I guess they'd rather continually put the Public at Large at risk for serious, debilitating AND, now chronic infections. Good job on that "HealthCARE" thing Harris Health System. They told me how they were going to work together to get me into the specialist I was trying to see. Essentially, they were gatekeeping. They explained to me that the condition I was trying to be evaluated for was not curable and that there's no magic pill. I was not looking for meds. Just an evaluation by the specialist I appointed to see. The doctor, before he ran for help, did a quick visual test for my suspected condition, then asks me if I have pain. I said normal amount, but I'm used to it. He asks why I've not been to physical therapy. I couldn't even get my full sentence out before he left and came back with a superior. I started to say I was afraid of cost...but the only words I said was I'm afraid...and he frantically left. Came back with a superior and another man resident or nurse I'm not sure what the young man does. Coulda been a resident. Anyway. They told me it would be a few weeks to get the appt because typically, it's "difficult" to see the specialist I'm trying to see. That's when they were telling me how there's no medication for this. That's when I told them I'm not searching for meds, I just want to find out what I'm living with so I can learn how to have a better life. I was thinking the appt went okay other than the weird reaction where the doctor left and came back. I really thought they were going to get me into the specialist. But a few days later, on my patient portal, this doctor basically tells me they can't do anything and to contact my pcp. Wait, what??? Ya... nothing else. As a patient, it seems that the medical industry just wants to keep the people sick. They don't even want the patient to get on the right foot or they won't get anymore business. That's what it feels like anyway. Is this the type of mindset HHS has?

It was just me and my husband filled out some quick paperwork and we got let into the room so see our baby. Forgot to get her name but the ultrasound tech has been doing this since 1980! She was so personable and made the experience very fun. My baby was being stubborn and didn't want to wake up so she kept tapping my belly to try to get the best photos possible. We will be coming in the next couple weeks to get some more photos hopefully my baby has moved into a better position for more detailed photos.
