Is there another location now that it is closed?

No. The doctor from this place is going to work elsewhere. I thought this was her own business and it seems strange that she'd give up her own practice to go work for someone else.

Everything happened fast..I received some bad news about needing a thoracic surgeon on a Friday…read moreafternoon..did some research online and chose Dr. Roberts for my surgeon as I was too nervous a driver to drive alone to downtown MUSC where I was referred to...I was confident in his credentials and experience to handle my rather difficult situation. I believe there may have been an assistant surgeon as well, but I was not advised of his name and I was out before reaching the or. I was conveniently able to book an online appt. that Tuesday and was in surgery within 48 hrs. at Trident Hospital which is very close to my home and convenient for my son from out of town to travel back and forth from my home where he had my pets to care for. I received excellent care in this life threatening situation...the chest scar doesn't look like it will be as bad as I thought. For what was involved, i felt relatively little pain afterwards. I'm getting by on just some tylenol. The office staff, both admin. & physician assistant are very professional, but friendly....wait times are not long.. I don't care to have to visit them again in the future, but I will if I have to.. feeling grateful!

Really nice guy, bad at rhinoplasty. He absolutely botched my nose…read more His office staff was super nice and consistently called to check up on me, which was nice.....but that doesn't mean anything if the doctor isn't so skilled, to put it nicely. I went in for purely cosmetic reasons and he ended up GIVING me a deviated septum. Yeah, you read that right. I can only breathe at 20% at best from my right nostril now! This is not because of swelling, or to just wait it out and it'll all be fine a year after surgery because it's been 5 years. I am now having to get a revision rhinoplasty solely because of Dr. Costa. I met with him a year after and expressed my problems to him. He checked it out and said it looked perfect and there is nothing to change. My nose was straight before, never had problems breathing. He literally made my nose visibly crooked. No joke, it looks like someone kneed me in the face and broke my nose. And I can't breathe well now. Apparently this guy is good at facelifts, but he did a rhinoplasty, and that didn't go so well. Shortly after my surgery and prior to me waiting a year to see the real results, I allowed myself to be blinded by his sweet staff and actually referred my friend to him for a rhinoplasty. He did her nose too and she's so unhappy with it. Long story short: LOOK ELSEWHERE.

It's almost time to schedule a facelift. He is simply the best. My first experience was outstanding…read morewith fantastic results.

Have had a lot of failure since surgery and the g cyst has never gone away ..We had discussed prior to surgery the removal of this because of my cancer history however he did not remove it . Since the surgery have gone to post op many times and even requested one. Only to be never seen by the doctor only PA she has tried stuff for infection ..and now this last time again still not seeing the doctor. She wanted to get a mri because did not get one before surgery and some cream . For a minute I agreed but then thought about it because the amount of Tylenol to control pain is bad for me and not being able to see the doctor decided to find some new help . Wanted to update and edit since I went back and visited the summary which was a complete untruthful statement..Have had throat cancer with no voice box so I record everything for my wife to hear just easier that way and it sure doesn't match our recording nor did she not put the mri and prescription order in like we discussed they have been calling and texting After looking at reviews ran across a review not even 13 days ago of the same Dr. guess I'm not the only one recently with problems seems to be a trend

Absolutely recommend this facility. From start to finish, to follow up and again, more follow ups…read morelong after the procedure, the staff and doctor are incredibly kind, professional and excellent at what they do. They offer a free consultation during which I asked A LOT of questions. There was NO feeling of pressure or condescension. Everything was easy to understand. They were totally okay with me taking my time after the consult to think things through, and answered more of my questions. Their accounting team were also very kind and explained everything very well. Professional quotes, emails and receipts were provided. Prices were very reasonable. The office, consultation, surgical and other areas are all VERY clean. Lots of parking. When in the waiting room, patients are obviously very happy with their procedures and open to talk with other patients... which is a really cool feeling. Leaves you having confidence in the whole thing.

Then the practice manager gave me the price, which I paid before I left (you have until 2 wks prior to your surgery date to pay and full). The price was nearly 50 percent cheaper than any of the others plastic surgeons that I received quotes from in my town ( i suspect because they have their own surgery ctr, where many do not and have to reserve space at affiliated medical centers). Also I had a family member who recommended dr widenhouse who had the same gynocomastia surgery that I had. Surgery was at the end of July. Results were great and staff was very professional throughout. Try PCPS,You won't regret!

I don't envy being a doctor as the stress can be unbearable; however they're life savers and more…read moreoften than not, we're eternally grateful for their sacrifice. This brings me to my mother and her years long fight with AFIB and her ailing heart condition. She's been doing poorly so I took her to her doctor of many years at Charleston Heart Specialists in North Charleston. Dr Cuoco and his NP Kristen Laudati are located at the Medical Plaza in Charleston in an easy to navigate suite of offices. I'll first add that they don't open their doors before 8:30am so if you have an early appointment please factor that into your schedule. Next the office is very clean with a few amenities such as coffee, water and magazines with plenty of seating. Filling out the paperwork online will save a lot of time however they can accommodate those who chose to do it in the office. Our appointment was at 8:30 and I believe we were called back within 5 minutes of said time. As far as I can tell, they're efficient with attending to their patients. The nurses are decent in doing their job however they used the electronic cuff, which I observed is wrong 25% of the time anywhere it's used. That said after doing a manual BP test my mothers' vitals got closer to normal which was reassuring. The NP Kristen Laudati was very informed before she even came in. I can't express how valuable this is as most will just review information in front of their patients. Her dialog had confidence in not only her knowledge but that of drug interactions and her concerns therein as well as laying the ground work for the doctor. In short, I felt confident that my mother had good care as apposed to a conveyor belt mentality. As for Cuoco I rather enjoyed his demeanor. He had all the angles figured out before hand while going over our situation in great detail. Moreover, while outlining his plans he made it clear about the success rates for each option and the backup plan along with his confidence in each one. In other words "we'll try this and if it doesn't work which might be 50% success rate, we'll look at these two options." There was no attempt to give a warm fuzzy as the variables, ie my mothers age and preexisting conditions, since the first solution had potential for failure. However, knowing the plan had factored in these points comforted my mother. In summary, I think Dr Cuoco and his staff give the best care that can be expected, without compromise. Even the staff are intelligent, well-seasoned in health care for the heart and strive to focus on the patient's quality of life. For any new patients I think you'll be well served considering Dr Cuoco for all of your heart specialist needs.
