My #ThankYouThursday review goes to the Brew Cellar. Not only is the guy that works there each time I've been friendly, he knows sour beers, and I've never left there with a 4 or 6 pack that I didn't love. I was nervous as the local brew options are transitioning from summer to winter flavors, but I shouldn't have been, still have loved everything I've picked up. This great little local spot is my go to for to-go sour beers. PRO tip, bring cash if you can. Not required, but appreciated. Cheers to next week when I hit them up for a refill before Thanksgiving.

The Brew Cellar is such a cool spot. I can honestly say I have never been to park circle without popping in. It's a cozy little building nestled between Common House and Fratellos. When you walk in you are met with wall to wall beer that can be purchased to-go. Opposite the entrance is a small little bar where you can purchase local beers on tap. The taps are forever rotating so week to week you can come in and explore a new flavor. If you are one of the few who haven't had the pleasure of the Cellar than stop depriving yourself of brew bliss and check it.

We've stopped in for off sale for the virtual CHS Beerfest series. We love this little store. They've got a variety of off sale...local and non-local. Stop in if you get a chance, they also have some beers on tap as well and a little outside patio where you can enjoy a brew!

Cool little beer shop and bar. Right next to Commonhouse you'll find this little spot with a patio out front. Head inside to find the walls lined with a vast selection of craft brews for sale to take home with you. Head to the bar for a selection of rotating drafts and a fridge with some other format brews. There's a big common table for folks to gather around and share a pint. A very friendly park circle neighborhood bar.

Homey bottle shop in Park Circle [North Charleston] with unique brews, ten beers on tap and a growler fill station. It's off the main path, located in an old white "house" with small patio out front. I was immediately won over by the fact that they had Maine Beer Company on tap AND in bottles. That love slowly smoldered with a very beer-nerd conversation with one of the bartenders on staff as we chatted about wet hop versus fresh hop beers and the best NEW beers on the market (which of course they had all of!) The Brew Cellar is a small shop compared to some, but is definitely winning in the Charleston Market. You'll pay for the lack of competition, but their selection is stellar for the size. Plus, they've got board games to keep you entertained while you sip on your 16oz or 10oz pour.

Mass-produced American beer is like having a hissy-fit in a canoe; it's freaking close to water. As you know, the craft beer movement is happening, and I know you want to support the small, handcrafted beers that brings a party to your mouth. That's where The Brew Cellar comes in. They have a slew of craft beers from across this country, and locally brewed too. You can fill up a growler and talk beer like you would a fine wine. Located conveniently off Park Circle, right smack-dab in the flourishing hot spot of fine eating and nightlife; walking distance from Evo Pizzaria, Madra Rua, Dig in the Park, Fratellos, The Orange Spot cafe, and Cannon ( formerly Corks). You don't have an excuse not to experience this area, and pick up some fine beers from a locally owned business run by some cool people! Get on it. Claimed!!!

The Brew Cellar is a welcome addition to the Park Circle area. It's like having The Charleston Beer Exchange in North Charleston. All the more reason to make this interesting little area a destination. The guys running The Brew Cellar are really excited and enthusiastic about the whole thing. It shows when you first walk in. Since the soft opening they have continued to grow their stock and acquire many new and interesting hard to find craft beers. You'll see Stone, Ommegang, Evil Twin, Terrapin, and many other great breweries all present and accounted for. The prices are fair, and the guys are eager to please. They are open to suggestions for new stock. Upon my first visit there, I was blown away by seeing so many bottles of Bell's Hopslam and bombers of the mighty Green Flash Palate Wrecker at the ready. The spot is cozy. It's small and intimate, just off the main drag in Park Circle. They also have a four tap growler station where they try to keep some interesting brews handy. They have custom growlers and pint glasses, so you won't go without if you drop in unprepared. After just a handful of visits I'm loving The Brew Cellar. Stop in, spread the word, and help it thrive!
