    Chicken salad sandwich with elote
    Dale C.

This is no ordinary dive bar. This place is very cool. Obviously popular and it was full considering it was a Monday lunch. We started with the alligator bites. The batter was flavorful and the marinara was good but the alligator was chewy. Not amazing but good. Not sure I would have it again. Not sure is the operative word. Wife orders the chicken club with Mexican corn. Both were nice very tasty and big portions. Very nice. Well done to the team I had the duck club sandwich. Huge sandwich and very tasty it came with chicharones. Wow excellent plate of food. I would order this again and enjoy it. The service was off the charts. Great experience.

This is a wild & cool spot!! This place is very eclectic with customer writings and taxidermy creatures all over the walls. Seems like the type of place where anything goes... My husband and I came here right after we landed in Charleston as the vibe attracted us (and we were starving!). I ordered the habanero honey mustard wings and my husband got the chicken salad sandwich with pork rinds. My wings were fabulous! They tasted extra-crunchy like they were double-fried. The flavor was great; habanero was hot enough to taste but not overwhelming and the honey mustard flavor also came through. I tried my husband's pork rinds, which were also super-crunchy and a nice surprise alternative to the usual fries that normally come with sandwiches. I would recommend checking out this place for a unique experience :)

We love The Tattooed Moose in Park Circle. The location is great, the atmosphere is laid-back and fun, and the overall environment just feels right every time. I love the outdoor area, but it's also just as good inside. The staff is always so nice, the drinks are consistently good, and the food never misses. The spicy fried chicken sandwich is a favorite, along with the pork rinds and the house-made pickles and onions. Everything is just done really well. It's definitely one of our must-stop places when we're out and about in the Circle. Always worth popping in.

Great pub food! If you're a vegetarian or a vegan, they only have 1 or 2 options. Veggie burger or a salad. The fries are cooked in duck fat. Our server was very nice and attentive. Food came out hot and fresh. The veggie burger was actually pretty good. It's a very casual environment with customers writing on the table and leaving very interesting notes. Some pictures drawn by customers are not suitable for children. When the weather is nice, they have a great outdoor area. Plenty of room to hang out and for kids to run around.

We didn't have room to eat this yet, but we sure look forward to going back to the hotel and diving into it

After leaving the Teagarden tour today, we decided to go to the tattooed Moose and I will tell you that it's been the best restaurant that we've experienced on our girls trip yet! From the blue cheese duck convey french fries the Smashburger, the Sammy and the most gorgeous looking chocolate cake. Every one of us were overjoyed. Our server Ari was totally on point and she was a delight to have as a server. Everybody was kind and they were very efficient and live music in the background made this one of our most favorite experiences yet.

One of my favorite spots to visit in the area. Unique vibe and menu along with craft brews! Indoor and outdoor seating and friendly staff. It gets really busy on the weekends but they are open late! I recommend the Chicken Salad Sandwich with bacon and duck fries!

I will forever be a fan of tattooed moose and their duck club sandwich. I visited the North Charleston location that's located in park circle with outdoor seating at picnic tables and bar seats. Inside you'll find more bar seating and a few four top tables scattered through as well as a couple of arcade games and TVs to watch the latest game. The staff was nice and friendly, the food was amazing as always (it's called the famous duck club for a reason) and the vibes immaculate. I visited on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy though this might change. They'd had an event earlier that day so I suspect everyone was worn out. (Saying this because when TM is busy it's BUSY) 10/10 will continue to be a returning customer. It's a great spot if you're looking for something with that divey feel.

Tattooed Moose is such a fun, laid-back spot with a great atmosphere -- casual, quirky, and perfect for grabbing food and drinks with friends. I tried the Buffalo wings and Mike's Famous Duck Club. The wings were a little on the fatty side, but the duck club absolutely lived up to the hype -- tender duck, crispy bacon, and that garlic aioli brought everything together perfectly. It's rich, indulgent bar food done right, and the vibe makes it easy to stay for a while. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving something hearty and unique.

My bf told me to try this place while in Charleston and I was not disappointed. It's a cute place and had a really cool down to earth vibe. Our waiter was really nice with explaining duck confit. I got the duck club and duck fat fries. The club was really good , juicy, and the duck was cooked well. There were 3 pieces of bread so that was a lot for me but it was the perfect bread for the sandwich. The sweetness of the Hawaiian bread paired well with the duck and the sauce. The fries were chefs kiss. They were perfectly crispy and the sauce was so good with it. It was fresh and slightly tangy. I really enjoyed it there.

I've been recommended this spot by a few people on different occasions so I had to check it out. I had a Sangria, a Grilled Cheese w/ Bacon, Tomato with a side of Pork Rinds & Pimento Cheese. It was a cool experience. The food was delicious. The Sangria was remarkable. The bartenders were very friendly. It's definitely a place to frequent for great food and drinks.

The Duck Club is such a great sandwich. I would order it everyday if I could. Great beer selection as well both draft and can. Love the outdoor area. Great place for food or a beer

Visited a nearby distillery and decided to try out tattooed moose for the first time. Very happy we did. We arrived and were told that the inside had about a 20-25 min wait, but outside could be immediate. No problem there, the outside was covered and had outdoor fans so it was perfect even for a stifling Charleston day. Immediately greeted by our waiter who was super friendly and grabbed our drink order. Drinks came quickly and we were ready to place our food order. Waited less than 10 min and the food was already out to us. Awesome. We Had a kids meal of a cheeseburger & fry (only $5.50- thanks Tattooed Moose - excellent price!) a regular Moose burger, and a chicken sandwich made Nashville hot. The chicken sandwich was so good! I was always a sceptic of pimento cheese but this sandwich changed my mind. The duck fat fries were good. I had specifically wanted to visit for those fries- and they were good. Not bad. Not out of this world. Solid. Husband enjoyed his burger and my son devoured his burger. Loved visiting this local spot. Perfect quick lunch. Very enjoyable!

    Chili, lowcountry Cuban
    Justin J.

I had the lowcountry Cuban and a side of chili, and nibbled on some of the fries. The Cuban was insanely greasy. I cannot express how greasy it was. I got a Cuban over the wings specifically because it looked like a healthier option and I was wrong. It was just dripping with oil and I felt super heavy after. The chili was nothing to write home about; it was bland, boring, and while it was made with short ribs, chili stews long enough for the meat to be tender no matter what cut it is. I am glad I got this as a side and didn't pay $6.50 for it, which would have been an offensive price. The duck fat fries were limp and soggy. On the plus side the service was fine. But to offset it, the vibe was terrible. They had a DJ outside playing a bunch of dance hits from the 80's and 90's and early 00's at an insanely loud volume that made conversation nearly impossible. Meanwhile the drunk patrons were screaming out the lyrics to the songs. It was like someone took a beach bar from 1997 and teleported it to Park Circle. Prices were very high for mediocre food that tried to be much fancier than they were capable of delivering. Park Circle is becoming synonymous with this in my mind, unfortunately. J.Ja

The only deviation was that the team was out of onion rings so the Stew Burger had sautéed onions instead. I got the pickled cucumber salad for the side. I loved the toasted brioche buns and the toppings on all sliders were fresh and flavorful. The burger slider patties were generous and juicy, though a little under-seasoned. Same for the pulled pork. They were prompt but probably because I beat the lunch rush. I can imagine they would be much busier 30 minutes from when I came. My favorite of the three was the Bada Bing. Would definitely get again if they come back. They would probably get five stars if the ground beef and pulled pork themselves were better seasoned.

When I saw that City Sliders was going to be here, I checked out the menu and knew I was going to order. I placed my order online and as soon as I went to submit they had suspended orders. I ended up just going up to the truck and ordering. It really didn't take long. The concept is to get two of the same sliders with a side. Since I knew I wanted to try a variety I opted to order their three slider offering; the Triple Threat. This way I could try their pork, chicken, and burger. And have leftovers!!! The order: a horsey pig, southern chick, the bada bing burger, and fries. Let's start with the actual slider buns. Awesome! Fresh and buttery and toasty brioche buns. My pig slider wasn't very horsey as they forgot the slaw with horseradish aioli. But the pork had great flavor. The southern chick ended up being my fav. Bacon, pimento cheese, and crispy chicken. Winning!! The Bada Bing! The burger was seasoned well and worked with the tomato and mozo but the pesto was too heavy with raw garlic. I had to brush my teeth twice before bed!!! Finally the fries. When I saw how many were in the box I immediately thought, leftovers. Wrong! I ate every last one! Crispy, hot, seasoned and perfect. I'm looking forward to seeing this truck again. :-)
