Orderd an $80 Bouquet for my mother for her birthday - not only did it arrive a day late, but it did not contain one single flower type that it was supposed to. What was supposed to be a gorgeous bouquet of lilies, purple roses, etc, ended up being a hodpodge of carnations and daises. I counted a total of 10 stems in the whole vase - for a "premium" bouquet, which ended up being nearly $100 after delivery and service fees. Thank god the third party platform refunded me 75% of my order - even they agreed this what unacceptable. Would not recommend what so ever. Easily the worst flower ordering/delivery experience I've had. If you don't have the flowers, push the order to someone else. Will be ordering via Carmel Flower Shop moving forward. read more

If I could give a lower rating I would. No matter how much you want to send flowers if you use them you will feel worse because of the lack of information the incompetence the lies the terrible products and the frayed nerves. They claim to have an in store designer named Maria who will do everything you ask. The day the flowers were due and I called to check on why nothing was delivered at 3:30 in the afternoon the store was closed - no Maria - farmed out somewhere to someone who had no record of the order so now I wait till Monday and try to fight out the $150 they charged me. They are not even open on the weekend - my bad - the stress of death caused me not to read carefully. I looked at the receipt they mailed me and it did not explcitily say when the flowers were to be delivered. My bad again. They prey on your emergency. Maria was a PLOY. DO not use them. read more

The arrangement was exactly what was pictured on website and receipt was emailed promptly to me. Last year I was planning a casual outdoor party to celebrate a big accomplishment of a friend, and I found this was one of very few floral shops in the local area. I first went into this shop with an inchoate idea of the look I was going for - woodsy/tropical but also not too girly or overdone, since my friend is a dude. Yes, somehow vague and specific at the same time.....Well, I showed the woman working there (I wanna call her Bridget? Is there a Bridget there? It's been a while. I'm sorry, "Bridget"!) some pictures I found that kind of had the look I was going for. She looked at just a few pictures and she was already on the move, her hands reaching for ferns and bamboo sticks without even a hint of hesitation. Then she says, "Something like this?" while holding up the coolest yet simple (read: inexpensive!) centerpiece idea that had the vibe I was going for. Uh, YES! Then she shows me what other plants/leaves I could use for the party. At this point I'm so excited that my half-brained idea is actually coming to life! She even gives me the centerpiece sample at no cost. :) So I make arrangements to come back the day of the party to pick up several of the leaves and plants "Bridget" showed me. When I arrived, I was surprised by how much they were willing to give for a decent price! Granted, I know greenery is way cheaper than flowers, and they didn't put in any labor as they weren't creating arrangements or anything. That being said, I can't speak with any authority on how well they handle floral arrangements and how pricey or not those are, but I would still say I enjoyed my experience with them and would give them another try for even more complicated endeavors...especially if "Bridget" is still there! Extremely disappointed in what I ordered vs. what I got. I bought this beautiful arrangement I saw on their website for my mother's birthday to support a local business vs. ordering off of 1-800-FLOWERS. When my mother sent me a picture of what she received to say thank you, my jaw dropped. It looked nothing like what I ordered (flower and size wise- I paid extra for the "premium," difference between the regular and "premium" pictured vs. what was sent.) I sent my mother a picture of what she was supposed to get and even she couldn't believe it. I immediately called them to voice my concerns, Lilly (who was very understanding, sweet and kind) stated they were simply out of stock due to COVID which is understandable but according to their Yelp reviews, this has been an issue long before COVID and since the business was apparently sold. Even a phone call to say "hey- we are preparing your order and realize we do not have barely anything in stock so here is a small refund/extra something to make up for that fact" would have been appreciated. Even a Mylar balloon thrown in would have made this slightly better customer service for the mess up. They told me that although it didn't look like what I ordered, it was the same value which I cannot confirm because I am not in the flower business but I do have eyes and can see that it surely did not look like it. The vase wasn't even the same and the size was nothing like "premium" and 100% like standard. I basically was left with only having the option of having the flowers picked up and essentially waiting until who knows when, for them to have what I ordered in stock to re-do the arrangement which is a ridiculous suggestion, especially on someone's birthday. My sister who ordered from 1-800-FLOWERS had a prettier bouquet for half the price meanwhile I spent nearly $100 and didn't get anything close to what I ordered- I guess that's what I get for trying to support the "little guys." At least cooperation's offer refunds/credits. Never again. read more

My sister sends me flowers every year for my birthday as well as all holidays. she usually sends via an online florist. Which are exactly as they appear online. This year due to the pandemic she decided to support a local business near my home. WRONG PLACE. The flowers delivered were half dead and basically the whole bouquet was dull and underwhelming. Absolutely horrible. Wish I could give zero stars.Ever since Mark Buzzetto sold the business it has been a nightmare. Shortly after he sold the shop I got dead arrangements of roses on 2 separate occasions, (Valentines Day and my birthday) and the owner was very apologetic and replaced the flowers, but this time yesterday was the last straw and I will NEVER use this business again. We had a family wake yesterday and I called to order an arrangement. They had their Ridgefield CT shop do the arrangement. We got to the wake and looked at the flowers and were horrified. Ours looked absolutely horrible compared to all the other arrangements there; they were sparse, roses were curling, red flowers were browning and wilted, and all they did was stick a bunch of flowers in a cheap glass vase of water. No ribbon,no nice vase. The card was totally done wrong, my name was written as GINA instead of Tina ( my brother took a pen and corrected it) and just had our names ( Tina and Tom L Family) on it. This was for my brother and sister in law and I was upset and embarrassed. My entire family couldn't believe what they sent for the wake and Worst of all- they charged me over $80 for the arrangement! I could have gone to the grocery store and gotten a nicer arrangement for less than $20. We are angry and want a refund. This should not have happened, especially for a wake. We went to the Brewster Garden to arrange for flowers for my father's funeral. The owner, Mark Buzzeto helped us to design a casket spray that was both symbolic and meaningful to our family while still being beautiful to those who would see it. In addition, we purchase beautiful plants for the visiting hours and others to be used as part of the ceremony itself. Mark was able to help us make choices and decisions with expertise and compassion during a very emotional and difficult time. I sincerely believe that we could not have received better service from a better person. I would definitely give this business my highest recommendation. I will use it in the future when sending flowers and gifts in or around the area. read more

I ordered a $60 arrangement to be delivered to a friend's home this past Saturday. We were headed there for an early Easter gathering, and we did not bring food or drink because we expected the flowers - $78 after tax and delivery - to express our gratitude well. Also, the hostess assured us we shouldn't bring food or drink. What showed up was a cheesy dollar store pink polka dot vase, some kind of wiry stick things which I guess they considered "art" and too few already wilting/browning flowers. We were mortified! I couldn't believe how awful the arrangement was. We could have certainly done better with $20 at the grocery store! Also, our friends stated the delivery person just handed over the flowers without a word and left...it was a strange delivery. Monday, I wrote to the florist to express my complete dissatisfaction. At first, I was happy with Mary Jones' (the owner) response. She called me immediately after reading my complaint email and assured me she agreed the arrangement was awful, said that she'd only just taken over the business a few weeks prior (I ordered from Brewster Flower Garden which Mary now owns - though I don't know how that should matter for an order placed weeks after taking over the business), and said she would send out a proper arrangement that day to make up for it. However, at around 5pm Monday evening, Mary sent photos to me of the arrangement she was going to send stating they would be sent out "tomorrow" (Tuesday). Um, okay...I had already alerted our friends to expect the delivery that day, but whatever. I wasn't impressed with the photos of the new arrangement either, but thought I'd wait to see what our friends thought of them in person. On Tuesday, after hearing nothing at all from our friends by 4pm, I wrote to them to ask whether they had received the replacement flowers yet. I was told no...there had been no call, nothing. I immediately wrote to Mary and told her to cancel the order and issue a refund to my card. I was livid. What should have been a nice gesture had turned into a hassle for everyone involved. I told her it was too late and I would not be ordering from her again. At 5:00, our friends called to tell me they had JUST heard from the florist that they would be delivering flowers in 15 minutes! So, the only reason the flowers went out was because I had written to cancel...otherwise, they would have forgotten. I told Mary I didn't want the arrangement which was mediocre to begin with knowing it had been sitting in her cooler for 24 hours. How can any business be run so poorly? How can a person charge $78 for absolute crap? So, I wrote again with my receipt and asked for at least a 50% refund, and told Mary that I would be writing a Yelp review. I've never heard from her again. She chose to ignore my cancellation and ignore me completely rather than to face up to the terrible service and product sent out in her name. In short, do not EVER order flowers from Brewster Flower Garden or Rodier Flowers (which has a shop in CT as well) as they have proven they don't know what they're doing, and definitely do NOT care about their customers. read more

My mom and I went to meet w Lily to order flowers for my baby shower. We showed her pictures from Pinterest of white, blue and pink hydrangeas in ball mason jars (which we provided). Also other flowers such as white stock, soft pink and white peonies and lilyanth. We supplied the vessels and picture reference and what showed up, left by the door of the venue, was nothing like what we requested. It was my baby shower and so the flowers did not make or break the joyous time that was had but I would definitely not recommend this florist for future events. She was lovely in person and seemed to be clear of what we wanted but what showed up was NOTHING like what we discussed. Unopened bright pink peonies, dark purple stock like flowers but not stock- it was really strange. After a weeks time the peonies still have not opened I don't know the cost as my mom was the patron but I'm hoping more people don't get duped in the future. Would not recommend! read more

He gave good suggestions and was very understanding of my mother's passing. He told me he could modify and customize any arrangement that I saw on the site and he did. I asked for more variety in colors and he knew what to use which is available at this time of the year. They were wonderful flowers and helped me get through the service. My father passed away and we needed to order flowers. I had previously received flowers as a gift from the Brewster Flower Garden and remembered, not only how beautiful the arrangement was, but how long it lasted, so we went to Brewster Flower Garden. We were treated with compassion, sympathy and courtesy. EVERY floral arrangement, plant and fruit basket that was designed and delivered by them was amazing -- the flowers were fresh, the designs and colors perfect. In fact, there was one floral arrangement delivered by a different florist and there was a glaring difference (dead flowers, wrong colors etc.). After the funeral, I received a birthday floral arrangement and I am still enjoying them! One other thing that truly stands out is the scent -- you can actually smell them -- so many other flowers nowadays have no scent. I would recommend them without a moment's hesitation and will use them whenever the need arises. read more

Tons of gift items on top of bright fresh flowers and lush green plants. The owner was helpful and accommodating without being pushy. Would not recommend at all. When I first walked in there were several unsavory looking people loitering in the doorway/store and I felt unsafe. The owner was rude and acted arrogant.
