    Wanted a beautiful bouquet for my sister in law. Brewster Flower Garden delivered! Literally! The arrangement was so awesome! Thank you Brewster Flower Garden!

    Dead Flowers

    This is the type of shoddy work Brewster Flower Garden does. My daughter sent us this arrangement on Saturday and this is what it looked like on Sunday morning. Half dead. She called to speak to the manager. "He doesn't like to give refunds" she was told. He offered her a nominal $10.00. Bad business. Bad flowers. Go elsewhere.

    My family and I have ordered consistently with them for years and they always exceed our expectations. I ordered a flower arrangement for my mom for Valentine's Day and had to leave a review. The Brewster Flower Garden has the freshest flowers and made a beautiful arrangement to my specifications. Look below!

    I live in California and needed to order flowers for customer in NY with a quick turn around time (only 2 working business days). My entire experience with this business was so pleasant and seamless. Mark (assuming the owner) was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I was describing over the phone. He also followed up by acknowledging the receipt of my emails and sent a photo of the extravagant arrangement. I loved the fact that in this day and age of technology a simple phone call got the join done.

    Last year I was planning a casual outdoor party to celebrate a big accomplishment of a friend, and I found this was one of very few floral shops in the local area. I first went into this shop with an inchoate idea of the look I was going for - woodsy/tropical but also not too girly or overdone, since my friend is a dude. Yes, somehow vague and specific at the same time.....Well, I showed the woman working there (I wanna call her Bridget? Is there a Bridget there? It's been a while. I'm sorry, "Bridget"!) some pictures I found that kind of had the look I was going for. She looked at just a few pictures and she was already on the move, her hands reaching for ferns and bamboo sticks without even a hint of hesitation. Then she says, "Something like this?" while holding up the coolest yet simple (read: inexpensive!) centerpiece idea that had the vibe I was going for. Uh, YES! Then she shows me what other plants/leaves I could use for the party. At this point I'm so excited that my half-brained idea is actually coming to life! She even gives me the centerpiece sample at no cost. :) So I make arrangements to come back the day of the party to pick up several of the leaves and plants "Bridget" showed me. When I arrived, I was surprised by how much they were willing to give for a decent price! Granted, I know greenery is way cheaper than flowers, and they didn't put in any labor as they weren't creating arrangements or anything. That being said, I can't speak with any authority on how well they handle floral arrangements and how pricey or not those are, but I would still say I enjoyed my experience with them and would give them another try for even more complicated endeavors...especially if "Bridget" is still there! Thank you for your expertise and help!

    Extremely disappointed in what I ordered vs. what I got. I bought this beautiful arrangement I saw on their website for my mother's birthday to support a local business vs. ordering off of 1-800-FLOWERS. When my mother sent me a picture of what she received to say thank you, my jaw dropped. It looked nothing like what I ordered (flower and size wise- I paid extra for the "premium," difference between the regular and "premium" pictured vs. what was sent.) I sent my mother a picture of what she was supposed to get and even she couldn't believe it. I immediately called them to voice my concerns, Lilly (who was very understanding, sweet and kind) stated they were simply out of stock due to COVID which is understandable but according to their Yelp reviews, this has been an issue long before COVID and since the business was apparently sold. Even a phone call to say "hey- we are preparing your order and realize we do not have barely anything in stock so here is a small refund/extra something to make up for that fact" would have been appreciated. Even a Mylar balloon thrown in would have made this slightly better customer service for the mess up. They told me that although it didn't look like what I ordered, it was the same value which I cannot confirm because I am not in the flower business but I do have eyes and can see that it surely did not look like it. The vase wasn't even the same and the size was nothing like "premium" and 100% like standard. I basically was left with only having the option of having the flowers picked up and essentially waiting until who knows when, for them to have what I ordered in stock to re-do the arrangement which is a ridiculous suggestion, especially on someone's birthday. My sister who ordered from 1-800-FLOWERS had a prettier bouquet for half the price meanwhile I spent nearly $100 and didn't get anything close to what I ordered- I guess that's what I get for trying to support the "little guys." At least cooperation's offer refunds/credits. Never again.
