Drink menu- fun for the 21 & older students!!

2nd time here & didn't disappoint. Located in downtown Milly. Plenty of street parking & an easy walk if down the way a little. CUTE little town & apparently it gets crazy around 11 pm when the GCSU students take over! Good for them- go have fun!!! The Brick has a good menu, see attached. I hade the veggie wrap last time & it was delicious!! This visit I got the Jerk Pasta Alfredo & it was delicious & the spice was definitely present! Hubby & student got calzones & said they were great! The steak tasted like a philly cheesesteak!! Fried pickles were so good last visit we got 'em again! SO GOOD!! Good vibes in either dining room, super sweet student staff that were singing along to the 80's music!!! If in Milly....

I've lost countless evenings to the Brick. Half of them by choice, half by blackout. But today I actually decided to dine instead of spiral. Waited 10 minutes max, posted up at the bar, and locked in on my pregame to oblivion. Started with a blackberry Moscow Mule. That drink didn't just hit, it signed a lease on my taste buds and paid rent early. Then came Lauren. REQUEST LAUREN. If you're not asking for Lauren, you're not doing The Brick right. She's locked in, dialed up, and the GOAT of service. But then...plot twist. I ran into an op. Dude posted up two stools down, but he didn't kill my vibe. I'm unshakable. I was there for wings, not war. Ordered the brown sugar hot wings (as one does) and they were busssssssin. The fries? Basically an entire potato farm. Couldn't even finish them and I'm built for the big back life. Hit The Brick. Post up. Stay dangerous. Request Lauren.

Good college local pizza place, the kitchen was done when I got there so the oven was off so didn't get to try the pizza !!! But overall service was great and fast ! The local college kids were playing trivia game so it was a chill place to eat !!!

Cool little college hangout with good pizza, wings, sandwiches, etc. Been here a couple times now and it's been good both times!

Lasagna dinner with burnt garlic toast
    Tony S.

Using KNG Delivery, I ordered a Lasagna dinner (for tonight, Sunday), and a Spaghetti & Meatballs (for tomorrow) dinner. Now, before I begin the review, y'all need a briefing on my background. As followers already know, I'm half Italian (dad's side), and have had Lasagna in only 2 restaurants, a workplace cafeteria, and Home Ec class in 1975. Plus, a couple of "homemade"versions, and 2 Frozen versions. And, of course, my mama's (RIP mom). Well, when my parents were alive, my mom, who loved cooking, But had no idea on how to fix Italian. So, my dad taught her. And, she improved it. What was amusing to see, when company asked my dad, Whose cooking do you like better, your wife's? Or, your mama's? Without hesitation, he would reply, My wife's! Now, this didn't sit well with his mom (who always disked mom for "stealing her son"). But, since there were thousands of miles between Italy, and Florida, it wasn't a big deal. So, growing up, and eating the World's best lasagna, I've have had great difficulty in finding lasagna that is even half as good as mom's. And, because I was so sensitive to it, I never ordered it in a restaurant. Though, back in 1979, I was at a Italian restaurant in Tampa, FL (had eaten there many times), and my waitress suggested the lasagna. I told her about mom's, and she said, Don't worry. If you don't like it, you can send it back. Well, I took one bite, and nearly gagged. Needless to say, I sent it back. Then, in 1983, when mom and I went to visit my dad's family in Italy, we found that dad had been raving about mom's lasagna. So, using ingredients she wasn't familar with, and a stove and oven that was far different than what she was use too, she went ahead, and fixed a Lasagna dinner for 8 people. Well, they loved it so much, they asked mom for the recipe. And, on my return visits in 1989, and 1991, they were still talking about it! To give you an idea of the ingredients, and costs, a 9x13 dish contains 3 different cheeses, the sauce takes a full day to make. Next day, assemble + first bake. 3rd day, top with mozzarella + final bake. The costs, $80.00+. Then, in 1992, I was having lunch with my co-workers in the company cafeteria. And, I saw Vito R (born in Italy) eating mass produced lasagna. :-o I said, Vito! You're a traitor to your heritage! Of course, he was a bit confused by my outburst. And, I elaborated, Eating cafeteria lasagna. Shame on you! He replied, But, Tony, it really is good. Here, try a bite. So, with a lot of skepticism, I took my fork, and took a small bite. And, I actually liked it. :-o And, I even threw my brown bag lunch out, and got in line to buy a plate. Then, when I got back to the office, I called mom to tell her. Now, for the review on this lasagna. Knowing it wouldn't be anything like mom's, I was prepared. While the serving size is generous (get a 2nd dinner out of it), the taste was OK. Not the worst that I've had. But, for sure, have had better (Stoffer's for instance). For a homemade Maranara sauce, it's lacking in flavor (personally, I think the jared Berilla's or Bertolli's is better). And, the meat is more like miniature meatballs vs a chili grind ground beef. And, with the burnt edge of the small piece of garlic toast (see picture), I can't give better than 2 Stars. At least, and unlike the pizza (ended up in the trash), the leftovers are in the freezer. To be honest, I'm glad I like their Calzone. As, so far, it's the only really good thing that I've had here. The Spaghetti review will be posted later.

Had the warm Spinach Artichoke dip, it was excellent and nice and warm as advertised. We both had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches they were outstanding. Nice and hot, temperature wise. Good sandwich plenty of meat on it. We both loved them. My wife had the side of pasta salad and enjoyed it very much. Do not miss this place when you are in town worth the trip for sure. 5 stars for sure, I would bet this place is hopping at night and on the weekends for sure. Glad we stopping in, the lady at the Visitors Center highly recommended this establishment. Our server was Christina B very good she did not hover over us during our meal.

This was our third time visiting this establishment over the past 5 years. As before, the staff was friendly and attentive and the food was great. I was so looking forward to the food I forgot photos before I started eating . The appetizer of mozzarella sticks was better than most we've had. (You get 6 but only 4 in picture...remember I was hungry!). I then ordered the Montezuma. Our waiter recommended I substitute sour dough for the normal hoagie and he was spot on. I loved the sandwich. ( yes, I took a bite before photo again) I also subbed my fries for a side salad. The salad was big enough as a meal itself. My wife had the brick chick sandwich and fries and said it was very, very good; possibly one of the best chicken sandwiches she's ever had. 5 stars and we'll come again when we can.

Since I hadn't the opportunity to get here (DoorDash isn't contracted with PNC. And, when I was still driving, there were too many places to go to), it was, a last minute decision. And, I am certainly glad of it! Though, considering it was, 12:40 when we arrived, it wasn't very crowded. I think, being a Tuesday afternoon was the reason. Had it been the weekend, or after work, it would have been a different story. Now, I gotta admit, paying $13.00 for a Double Mushroom and Swiss Burger with natural cut Fries, is a bit high imo. BUT, considering I have had nothing to eat since finishing the meal at around 1:30. The burger was delicious, and satisfied my cravings for a M&S burger. The fries were good, but not very hot. And, not heavily salted. Service was excellent! And, the waitress was very nice and, attentive. Unfortunately, she didn't have knowledge of the alcohol content of their Draft and IPA beers (the names definitely sounded woohoo), I went with a Peach Margarita. Now, I asked for a Traditional one, but got it, On the Rocks, instead (not sure if she misunderstood me. Or, if PCB doesn't serve them). It was potentially good.

Tonight, was the first time that I tried this place. Now, to be honest, anytime a place has Wings in their name, I expect great prices (which they are), very good quality and taste. Since my disappointment with the wings from the other place, I wanted to try AJ's. So, using KNG Delivery, I had a 15 piece Mild Hot Wings, with Ranch Dressing. I was surprised to see that both the drumettes and winglettes, were on the small side. But, despite being small, and Mild, they had a good bite to them. And, they tasted pretty good. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of variation in texture of both the drumettes, and the winglettes. Some were slightly dried out. While others were fresher tasting, and more tender. Also, with 15 wings, I was surprised to see that I was given only 1 small container of Ranch Dressing for dipping. Luckily, I had some on hand. Now, as I mentioned, the price was great. But, I think I'll skip the wings on my next order from here.

Dear Longhorn Steakhouse Management,…read more I am writing to provide comprehensive feedback regarding a recent dining experience at your establishment. I visited for lunch today, arriving around 1:45 PM. Upon entering, I observed a moderate number of patrons, approximately 30-35 guests. My initial impression was positive; I was promptly greeted and seated by a host/busser almost immediately. However, it quickly became apparent that there was no silverware available at my table.. It also seemed they assisted in bringing my beverage, as my designated server appeared to be under considerable pressure, attending to multiple tables and also guests at the bar. This suggested a potential staffing shortage, a challenge many in the industry currently face. It took approximately eleven minutes and twenty-two seconds for my server to reach my table and take my order. While the salad was delivered swiftly, I found myself once again without silverware, rendering it impossible to begin eating. This necessitated a further wait of nearly twelve minutes and forty-four seconds before my server returned with the appropriate cutlery, at which point my entrée was also served. This double delay in obtaining essential dining implements significantly impacted the flow of my meal. Despite these service challenges, I must commend the culinary team wholeheartedly. The salad was remarkably fresh, delightfully cold, and thoroughly delicious, with the chilled bowl contributing to its crispness. My burger was exceptional - perfectly seasoned, cooked precisely to my requested medium-well, and served on a wonderfully toasted bun. The overall food quality was outstanding. While the iced tea was a touch stronger than my personal preference, this is a minor note on an otherwise superb meal. In summary, my experience presented a stark contrast: the quality of the food was unequivocally five out of five stars, an absolute highlight. Regrettably, the service received warrants a one out of five. While I recognize that short-staffing can create operational difficulties, the delays in basic service, such as providing silverware, significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. I believe there are opportunities to refine service delivery even when resources are strained. Thank you for your time and consideration of this feedback. Sincerely, Richard Biancardi
