This place is phenomenal! Amazing pizza and wings. I ordered my lunch to go - a slice of pizza and wings. My food was ready on time. There was no wait at all. My pizza was the Athenian pizza - I took off the artichoke and added grilled shrimp. Absolutely amazing!!! The wings were a good size, and I requested regular buffalo and garlic combo sauce with extra sauce to make wings wet. In comparison - a few nights before that we ate at The Brick. The pizza slice was good but did not compare to Amici's pizza. The wings at The Brick were small and dry. I was disappointed. The ambiance and the service were very good. I also liked the option of outside seating. Unfortunately, the food was pretty bad. The pizzas were not tasty at all , and the kids burger was a tasteless hockey puck. I usually don't leave reviews unless they are good reviews so people know a good place to check out when there is one... but I wish I would have had some idea about whether this food was any good or not. I hadn't planned on having Italian for dinner tonight. But, yesterday, I got an Alert from KNG Delivery that stated, Free Delivery from Amici when ordering with Code: XXXXXX. 8-) However, since the coupon was only good for yesterday (Saturday), I ordered it. And, after putting the Calzone in a storage bag, I put it in the refrigerator. So, I decided to try their Calzone, with Steak, and their "Famous Amici Maranara" Sauce. As previously mentioned, the downside to Amici's, is everything is A la Carte. So, don't expect any accompaniments when ordering a Entree. :-( Lucky for, I had the fixings for a nice Italian Salad. Unfortunately, no Breadsticks, or Garlic Toast (it ain't true Italian without it, LoL).. One thing I like about Amici's delivery, is a Tamper Proof seal is put on the box. 8-) Though, if Dining In with friends, before leaving, make sure your entire party is intact (notice the Pizza, Wings & Friends? Eek! LoL; sorry. Thanks to COVID, too much Home Alone time). Now, the Calzone was pretty tasty. But, when I cut into it, it was like, Where's the Beef? (See picture). And, thanks to my Salad, I get 2 meals out of it. But, unlike the Steak Calzone at The Brick, without a Salad, or Appetizer, don't expect 2 dinners out of it. And, after my last experience with their Maranara sauce, I didn't just dump the sauce on it. I dipped a corner of the crust into it, and took q bite. And, all I'll say, I'm glad that I had q jar of Tomato & Basil sauce on the shelf! They still have some dishes that I'd like to try. But, I'll wait until I get either, some Rewards (take a picture), and get Cash Discount (once, I had enough Rewards that my entire meal + fees and tip, was $0.00), or a Coupon. Edit: First, it turns out that the sliced beef, rather than being layered over the inside, is stacked in spots. Though, I did find the Steak to be quite tender. Wowza! Man, oh man! Did I improve the taste of the leftovers... Last night, I just had the Calzone, with some heated up store bought Tomato & Basil sauce (better than Amici's, smh) poured on top. We were greeted when we walked in and got seated immediately. The ambience is mostly a bar setting but of course a restaurant for you to sit down as well in booths. They are Covid friendly seating every other table and everyone wore masks. Service was great and fast. Pricing is also good. I always come for their wings. They are called jumbo for a reason and I always get the honey hot. It's a perfect sauce of sweet and heat and the ranch that comes with it is house made. Burger seemed to be just a regular burger but it was pretty big. The pasta salad was flavorful and filled with more ingredients than I could put my finger on... but not in a bad way. My wife and I recently visited Milledgeville, a beautiful little town southeast of Atlanta near Lake Sinclair. We passed Amici restaurant while walking the downtown area, and decided to give it a try. I am from New York City originally and am a true pizza snob. So I wasn't expecting much when we ordered our pie. Well, I am happy to report that I was dead wrong! Their pizza was just about the best pizza I've had outside of the Big Apple. We are new to Milledgeville and went to Amici's on Hancock. Good corner location and although worn a bit it was fairly clean. Tables and floor were good but ceiling and window shades could use a good cleaning We sat in the window area that looks like it converts to dart tournament night. . Quick service and the food was good. We had an order of mozzarella sticks. Order was large but sticks were average but sauce was very tasty. Sticks didn't seem freshly made; more mass produced frozen like. I then ordered a small 11" Buffalo chicken pizza. Different than what I am use to but it was really good. My wife had a small 11" The Works pizza which she liked very much. We will come back and try other selections to see how the rest of the menu is. read more

Nice little place Bloody Mary specials on Sunday. Wife says Bloody Mary is wonderful and thinks it will go well with our . Order the small 11 inch Beefeaters pizza, the meat special. That works out to 6 pieces which was excellent for us at lunch. Dinner we would have ordered a large. Pizza was outstanding came to the table hot and ready to eat. Did not take long from time if ordering food on the table. Staff is hopping all the time. Excellent ace for a college town every night. The pizza was really good but everything else was horribly subpar. A member of our party ordered the chicken Alfredo and it came out watery and rather tasteless. We told our server that it was not to our liking and asked if we could send it back for something else (a buffalo chicken sub). Our server told us that their "policy" was that they would have to charge us for both the chicken Alfredo and the replacement entree. We reluctantly agreed but then discovered that the replacement entree that we requested was sent to the kitchen as the wrong item (honey mustard sub as opposed to the buffalo chicken sub). We subsequently had to take the replacement-replacement entree to go as everyone else in our party had finished eating. So, we overpaid for poor service, a bad experience and a "policy" that certainly punishes the customer. read more

Pretty decent for a college pizza pub. I was a frequent here because they sell pizza by the slice a lunch. Their soft drinks and apps are also awesome. The cheese pizza could use a bit of jazz- wish I liked the veggie one more too. The atmosphere isn't as great as other places in town (a bit dark and dreary) but the service is pretty good. The workers are kind and fun. They also have many event nights and specials that bring in the crowd. I liked going here for live music and events. read more

Have been in a few times and have had rude run in's with one of the workers who says they are a manager named Colquitt. Very poor attitude while walking around and not of much assistance it seems when the restaurant is busy. When we needed to speak to a manager about our burnt pizzas, he was rude and not much help to the waitress who was helping us to start. Second try here. Ordered buffalo dip fried rolls ( can't find correct name) they were great! Wife had small cheese pizza- great dough texture and cheese/homemade sauce ratio. Would eat again. I had chicken Caesar flatbread.... not a traditional flatbread. Pizza dough that was undercooked. Which is the exact opposite of what I think when I think "flatbread". I asked the waitress if it was typical and she said not at all, yet didn't offer to correct. The flavors were complimentary and great. If it was on crisp flatbread I'd still be eating and not bitching. ****** During my rant the waitress came back and said the manager offered to remake it. So we will see what round 2 is like...... hopefully pube free!******** So here's the new flatbread. COMPLETELY different! Okay, so I first moved to Milledgeville in 2007 as an undergraduate and now as a CPT in the United States Army, I'm back in Milledgeville instructing future Soldiers. From the very first time I ever ate At Amici's, I felt unwelcome as an African American. Here we are 12 years later and tonight, I go to eat there for like the 3rd time ever and I felt the same. I sat for 20 minutes after being sat at my table and almost every server walked past me and not once asked if I'd been helped or anything. Even the manager walked by at least 5 times and not once asked if I'd been helped. Look, this is Milledgeville, and it's 2023, your food is basic AF, and not even that good. The only reason your restaurant survives is because it's in a college town where you make a ton of profit off alcoholic beverages. Whoever the owner is, you need to speak to your servers and advise them that it's their job to serve all customers equally, regardless of color, gender, race and everything else. I promise you, I won't be back. Even after having to go to the bar from my table, order my own drink and food, I still left a tip in hopes that I could show you, not all people are the same and don't tip. If you're going to have black people in the kitchen cooking, at least take care of the black customers just like you take care of the majority 95% white customers. read more

Went back to Amici yesterday for lunch. Honey-Garlic Wings were still the bomb. Service was much better this time, our waitress was on the ball with getting us everything we needed and paying close attention to our needs. In addition to the wings, we also got the Buffalo Shrimp. They were not all that great, the hand-dipped batter had a little too much cornmeal in it and the sauce (buffalo/ranch mixed) is served on the side. The service was great and the wings too. The wings here are truly outstanding and get an "A" grade from this reviewer. Very tasty and unique with a hint of Asian spice. The pizza gets an average "C". Not great. Just ok dough and flavor. The kids' spaghetti portions are ridiculously small but after speaking with the manager, I have to give credit to them for providing another portion free of charge. The atmosphere here is really cool and family friendly at dinner time. Nice bar. I would recommend coming here for drinks and wings if that's what you're after and you'll be satisfied. The food is pretty good here, just the service is hit or miss. There are maybe 12 customers right now but bartender prefers to chat with regulars rather than wait on all of the customers. I even asked another employee if they could take my order but for some reason could not. Plenty of employees but management is lacking. Looking at 2 drinks waiting to be delivered but there they sit getting watered down as the ice melts. But my Georgia Cobb Salad came, still great. read more

This place has great selections of craft brew, pizza and ambience! This was my first visit and I will return. Now I want to be honest the service was less then acceptable, but I was trying new things. My daughter tried the burger and was not satisfied. I tried philly steak in a spinach wrap. It was average steak and was weak on cheese. My wife and second daughter tried a specialty pizza which I found really yummy! Next visit I will try pizza and the Buffalo chicken dip, which I saw on a table next to us, and it looked great. So at the end of the day I would try it again! read more

Hip bar with a passion for the downtown milledgeville culture. Great pizza and some outstanding wings. For the small town of milledgeville it does offer some Atlanta sized pricing, but for some great food it is worth it. We ordered the soup of the day and it took 40 minutes, despite the restaurant being at about a quarter of capacity. Our main entreés took about an hour which was very unsettling.
