    Freezer and new fridge from The Brick.

    This is my 2nd purchase from The Brick in Calgary Deerfoot Meadows. The 1st time I bought a sofa, chair, side table, and an area carpet. I could not have been happier. Logan was my sales rep. This 2nd purchase is the same. Excellent sales guy (Logan again) excellent delivery team, and I will definitely shop there again. Logan is exceptional. He really respected my budget, and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. He was very knowledgeable about the products that he was selling. I appreciated that. I was about to get a $1200 fridge and he directed me to a $900 one. That allowed me to get a painting as well that I had had my eye on. Thank you again Logan and The Brick.

    if I could give zero stars I would. Don't bother purchasing warranty with this company as they won't grant it. They lie on the phone about how to submit claims and than proceed to tell you that what do you expect when you purchased this product in 2021 even though I purchased 5 year warranty. Very disappointed in the way it was handled. I was told this is normal wear and tear even though I told them I store my furniture inside in the winter

The Extended Warranty covered the part and after two tries the service contractor called Whirlpool (the granddaddy of all appliance companies!). They said the "part was no longer available!" They meant the Induction top board not the ubiquitous control board. As a result our Induction top/ stove is no longer reparable and is basically junkable! So we are looking to replace a 3 yo stove! The appliance was delivered at 5.30am by a very intimidating man who refused to unpack it or lift it onto the kitchen counter. I am a 60+ year old woman and was alone in the house. His parting comment was thar he expected a positive review of the service. Universal Appliance was totally disinterested in my experience. 5.30am was dark (it was Winter), obviously, I was still in bed, clearly not expecting a delivery. I struggled to lift the appliance and had to ask a neighbour for help. Universal Appliance had said that instillation was covered by the additional cost but were dismissive of my experience. The experience was, quite frankly both disturbing and threatening. I have bought an Aga stove and the Sharp multi function microwave from this company. I will never patronize them again.

    DO NOT BUY FROM CANADIAN APPLIANCE SOURCE…read more I usually avoid negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about CAS and their delivery company, First Class Appliance Delivery. The delivery service was highly unprofessional. They lied about the time window (we waited outside in the cold for over half an hour), the delivery staff appeared not to be fully lucid (they were fumbling and falling over), and they damaged both the product and my home. Despite having all the correct paperwork and photo evidence, they refused my claim for compensation. By the time I jumped through their various bureaucratic hoops and paperwork, they said it was too late because I didn't tell them on the day of the delivery (I have phone and paper records to prove that I did). They used the fact that they're two different companies (CAS and First Class Appliance Delivery) to offer contradictory advice, so when I followed the guidance of CAS, the delivery company said it was incorrect and used it to deny compensation. Their policies are designed to limit their liability, not to provide customer service. Their customer service staff are trained to sound nice while refusing to help you. Wishing you all better luck in your appliance purchases. May the people who work at these companies one day improve their services.

    I was working on a home project building a self watering above ground planter. I was installing a…read moremetal frame on one side that would be against the house and would not be accessible once installed. This would be used to attach a fence for plants to crawl up on. However I needed to drill some holes in the metal to connect the pieces. The drill bits I had worked great with wood but would not pierce through this metal and was in fact dulling the bits after I had recently sharpened them. Doing some research on the internet I learned that the best bits for metal were cobalt drill bits. I checked my local stores like Canadian Tire and Rona but they did not have them. I found some on Amazon but it would take a few days for delivery. Then I found Lowes had them in stock in their store. So I ordered some for pickup around 5 PM. The next day by 9AM I received an email saying they were ready for pickup. I shot down there right away and received very pleasant service from the Pick up clerk/cashier and left a very happy customer. Arriving home I was very anxious to use these bits to see if they could perform. They cut through the metal like butter and gave me a great sense of accomplishment in both the job I was doing and using a good high quality product made by DeWalt.     Started out great, had friendly service at the storefront. Purchased a bed frame. They no longer…read moreoffer in store pick up so you are forced to pay delivery fee regardless of size of the item. Bed frame was delivered and was 6" longer than was listed on the website and therefore didn't fit in our small bedroom. Very disappointing considering we specifically selected this model given our space constraints. Cannot trust measurements online. When returning, had to defend my story with images of it not fitting in the room in order to get the refund which took four days to "approve". Once they accepted the return, I then had to keep the bed frame for over three weeks due to pick up driver availability. They finally picked up the bed and no refund was processed on my card after four business days. I had to call Mobilia support and inquire. They only issued the refund after I called and provided my card number. So, had I not called or kept an eye for the refund they would have just kept my money? Nice furniture for a decent price if you're looking for mid-line, but I will not be shopping here again. If it doesn't work out, it's a nightmare to get your item returned and refunded.

We were told that it would come in June, but we still don't have it because it hasn't arrived at the port of Montreal. We've been told to call back in September. When we went shopping in store our experience was good with the sale representatives there, but the delivery people who dropped off our dining room chairs, a bench and lamps were rude and dismissive. I had asked for the delivery guys to wear masks before coming into my house because I explained that I had a newborn. One of them put up a big fuss saying that he has been wearing a mask for 2 years and he is tired of it. He also said that he has kids of his own as if this justified him not wanting to wear a mask in my house as per my request (so much for client service and respect). He refused to come in to set up the lamp, so he put it together on my front porch and was about to leave it there when I called him out for it. I politely explained that the delivery was supposed to be "white glove service" meaning they put the items together and place it where you want it in the house. He didn't like that. I had to argue with him to put on a mask and to put the lamp in my basement, but he eventually did. The other delivery guys didn't bother to assemble the other lamp and dining room bench - my husband ended up having to do it. We liked the product offerings at Mobilia and that's why we bought from there, but the client service is awful once you leave the store. Fair warning to those who decide to buy furniture here!
