We got there some time after 5:00 where we found out we found out they have a specific protocol for ordering. They said they don't even start cooking until 5:45 I think, and they usually take all the orders for the night up front before they start. Everyone we talked to was very friendly though, and since it was just a pizza they said they'd throw it in now for us. We had actually regretted not ordering wings, but they couldn't throw them on without a considerably longer wait time so we stuck with the pizza. We had our dog with us, so we walked around the block while we waited. When we got back to the car, the pizza was sitting in the passenger's seat, so we didn't have to go back in. There was nothing special about it, and it didn't have much taste. I think most of the reviews here raving about the pizza are from people who grew up eating it, so that's a whole different thing. I feel the same way about my hometown pizza place. I usually order at least twice before I leave a review, but I don't think I'll be coming back.
