My husband and I have been attending for two years and we can't imagine going any place else. The relationships, sound doctrine and spiritual support we've gotten from this church is amazing! Pastor Dom and Joyce Avello have been a God-send in our lives and are truly an example of what a godly couple should look like. Also, having Todd Ganovski lead worship has been incredible. The worship is an experience EVERY time.... authentic, real and motivating. A perfect example of the type of worship I would imagine in heaven and a great way to prepare the atmosphere for service. It's a very important decision where to take your family to fellowship and to invest in the community. I've been attending Church of the city in Springhill for the past five years approximately. Pastor Derek and the staff here truly care and treat everyone like family. Our missional, learning, youth, kids, and community groups and projects have all made a huge difference in people's lives. The vision of this church is outward focused and that's how it should be. There's always a sincere well thought out approach to why and how we can interact and share the love of Jesus with our community and with eachother. I'm on the virtual prayer team and I used to help with the youth as a girls leader (but my life schedule changed with a baby)-and from first hand experience, the staff and volunteers are truly committed to walking with people on their journeys, even the hard ones. Our pastor makes a point to always extend connecting and meeting people after service no matter how exhausted he might feel. Our community events are awesome, the people are too. I just love it!
