The owner of the truck was a Cuban woman, so bonus points for representing her country! I've had lots of Cuban sandwiches in my lifetime, and although these were original, they were lacking the meat that most places put in these delicious sandwiches. I was super excited they were on the menu, but very disappointed in the lack of meat they contained. I think mine contained one and half or two large slices of ham and this sandwich is known for the variety and quantity of meat it boasts. It usually has roasted pork and ham, and sometimes (especially in Miami) they will add salami. It was big on the cheese and it was nice and toasted, but I was still let down.
