With two dozen beers on tap (and a selection of bourbons and whiskeys), no worries that you won't find something you'll like. This was pretty awesome as I was actually spoiled for choice. I think the only thing that would have made it perfect was to run power to the table where I was sitting with my laptop. But this is a beer place and not a coffee shop. Wow - phenomenal food and drinks! - - - Another couple recommended meeting here and dinner, we are glad we did, as we enjoyed great food and drinks, and time together. I'll admit to having driven past Brother's many times, and I now known that we should have pulled in and gone inside sooner. Brother's is part store part restaurant / bar... with an impressing selection of beer and bourbon... and also offering vodka-infused whipped cream... and many spices and sauces to enjoy on the food you eat there, or at home. Three of us enjoyed our beer flights - four glasses apiece; my wonderful wife enjoyed a gin and tonic that is made from the bee pea, so it turns a light purple color when mixed with the tonic - nice! We also enjoyed the incredibly good nachos, Midwest nachos, which were excellent...the chips, meat, sauces all paired so expertly by Steve, the owner... we enjoyed two plates, one with brisket and one with chicken on top. These are possibly the best nachos we've had... much meat and beans and sauce and more on top; solid chips... superb!! Sauce-wise, we enjoyed a Carolina BBQ and a pineapple chipotle sauce... Carolina was quite good; pineapple chipotle was amazing! There were many patrons here tonight, and Steve still made time to welcome and serve us, and to help recommend some beers for me to try - most appreciated. I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband and a lot of our family and friends are. Beer Sauce is our go to! My husband appreciates the way the beers are shelved - porters together, stouts together, etc. He usually stocks up there once a month. I've wandered around while he's choosing beers and found some good canned drinks that aren't beer! We've also bought some of their sauces and seasonings. It's a nice shop - large enough to hold a lot of product, but small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed. We've been there while a number of people were enjoying beer and playing games. There's a community feel there. The staff is nice and really helpful. If you've never been, you should check it out! read more

I purchased a Groupon for Beer and Sauce thinking that it would be an interesting place to try. The Ballwin location is tucked way in a strip mall off of Manchester Road. Beer and Sauce is a store and bar that serves food. There is a local bar feel to Beer and Sauce, All the employees were super friendly and were eager to help with beverage selection. I wouldn't recommend this place for healthy food, but Beer and Sauce has great barbecue dishes to choose from. The two entrees that we ordered, nacho's and burnt ends, were delicious. I asked for the chili as a side instead of on top of the nachos. I liked this less heavy version of pulled chicken nachos, but I bet someone more adventurous would love the chili, jalapeños and onions on top. The beer and sauce selection available on the shelves to purchase is impressive. They also carry a crazy assortment of sodas and canned drinks. Not just a store that sells beer but an experience as well! I went to it for a game night, meet some wonderful people, and had some great beers. The gentleman behind the counter, Steve, was very friendly and accommodating. He worked with me on picking a draft from asking me what I like to drink. Fun surprise: He has a can/bottle chiller so you can literally take something off a rack and within minutes be having a cold beer! All the folks there seemed to be regulars and the environment was nothing short of super welcoming. It could easily become a go to place for whatever reason. I follow Duke's BBQ on Instagram and I saw that they had their Alabama white BBQ sauce bottled by BeerSauce Shop. I LOVE Duke's Bama BBQ sauce. I didn't want to go out to Wentzville but I learned there is now a BeerSauce Shop on Manchester not too far from me. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. I had no idea you could sit at the bar and drink and order food. Who knew? I shopped around a bit and they have a buy 3 get the 4thfree deal so I chose my four things and checked out. A surprise find in a strip mall in Ballwin! Totally shocked! A great place to come to for a good selection of top notch local and other beers. They have a decent selection of carry out beer but I was even more impressed with their draft beers. Some of the best seasonals right in one place. The bartender was friendly and generous. The space is way nicer than I thought it wild be from the outside. I looked at the menu and am interested to go back for food. Not sure about their volume during COVID but seeing that someone was complaining about a busy Saturday I would imagine it's a good place to be on a weekend or weeknight. This place has GREAT FOOD! It's a limited but well-executed menu based almost entirely on brilliant local BBQ'd brisket/chicken/pork - excellent tacos/nachos with fresh slaw and wonderful sliders. GW brats and a fabulous chili dog too! And THEN we get to the beer (always a lot of unique and craft selections among the 24 taps) and bourbons (the best place to find a gift for selective drinkers) and cocktails (original, fun, seasonal!). We love the weekly special events and I have met some of my favorite brewers here over the years (yay Piney River Brewing!) at sampling nights. First time visitor, don't imagine I'll return. The shop itself is very nice, but my interaction with the owner Steve left a bad taste in my mouth. One of my buddies loves the place, talked me into attending a $35 beer and bourbon tasting. Which was wonderful, no complaints at all with the event. Except I showed up on an empty stomach for beer, bourbon, and bbq, only to find out they weren't serving bbq during the even. Again, no biggie, so I ran next door to the pretzel shop and grabbed some pretzel sticks. Less than 30 seconds back inside before he tells me I can't have the pretzel sticks inside. One hour later? Giant pretzel stick platter from next door delivered for folks to snack on. This review would have been 5 stars if he'd waited two minutes for me to eat my original pretzels, but given the plethora of beer shops around here, my first try here doesn't warrant a return. read more

Wow - a beer lovers dream! Tons of single can/bottle beers to choose from- buy 12 get the 13th free! They also had bottled booze for sale, and a bar to sit and drink at with draft beers available. Tons of sauces and rubs as well. Staff was super nice and offered to let us taste anything in the store. Nice place, but with only one person working on a Saturday the wait for anything was extremely long. Not sure if that is the way it always is but that is not good for a business. They do have food but again with one person working the bar and doing the food it too a very long time to get anything. Never got our food, so I can't review.
