I don't believe you did the work and the only photos I saw of the gutters that are out of my reach were of someone else's house. I was promised to receive the after photos via email multiple times... I would give this company zero stars if that were possible.. they gave me an absolute outrageous estimate as a thought. I was a single woman and could take advantage... well jokes on them when my niece and brother called a much more reputable company who came to give a quote the next day extremely cheaper quote very polite gentleman and they did the job the same after coming to give the quote which I was completely not expecting Do yourself a favor and do not work with this company! read more

I really want to like these guys, but their poor customer service and lack of communication is quite troubling. They were quick to show up and give an estimate, offered quality products and solutions (we needed some repairs, plus new aluminum gutters, plus covers for vintage copper gutters) but it's been pretty downhill from there. They did show up one month after the estimate to do part of the job, but even then there was confusion about what they were supposed to do, specifically. I had to show them the original estimate detail for them to complete that part of the job. At first I was told the copper guards were in, then I was told they were delayed, and now for a few weeks I've heard nothing about the copper guards. The only hero has been Trey Terry, the estimator, who does actually respond to my text queries at times. Numerous calls to the owners have gone unanswered. The workers here last week said they would have the owners call, yet no one has as of yet. To top it all off, the job is still not complete, yet today I received an email invoice to pay the remaining balance (50%) of the estimate. read more

Most of the reviews I read were about poor communication. I did have that problem but others that were even more troubling. My gutter guards, installed in 2022, do not work. We have very long icicles in all gutters in the winter and the ones on the back of the house drip over the gutters every time it rains (moderately and heavy), suggesting that the guards do not have the capacity to drain the water fast enough. The water is leaking from the gutters close to the house foundation. I had the company come to my home twice and they claimed that it was not their product that was problem (very rudely I might add). So what is the problem? They didn't seem eager to figure it out so we dropped them from consideration. read more

I signed with Brothers Gutters in early july. They sent a crew to do the work on July 25, 2023, Two men showed up around noon, one spoke no english, the other spoke vey little english, both Afgan immigrants. After an hour doorbell rang, said they were done and I said no you have to inspect, clean and seal all gutters. Put anew one in front upper floor. Said no they re done, pay now. Called office , Brenda , said Tony was coming to supervise. They left and when the rain came 30 min later the new gutter leaked between the roof and gutter. Net day Tony came . we explained what happened. He looked and said it needs flashing and assured us the new gutter would be fixed and all others cleaned and sealed and he would be there to supervise. Asked why they sent workers who could not speak english. He said they work with another guy ho speaks english but he was away in India at a wedding. Why send people to my home who i CANT TALK TO? NO ONE SHOWED UP NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. Now I called every day and left messages as it when to voice mail each time I called. Finally called another number and it was the Albany office and was told I must deal with Schenectady office. He connected me and it was voice mail again. I called my bank and had the charges reversed, and left told them I would pay in full when they came and completed the job. called every day for the next 12 days and got no response. Finally, I sent a text To Brenda telling her that if I dont hear from you in the next 4 days, Ill assume you are breaking the contract and find a differnt company, which I did in august. BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM ARTISTS: On March 3, 2025 the company was hired to install gutters and downspouts for an apartment building. A contract was signed for $3930 with a payment of $1995 upon signing of contract. 2 days before installation was to be completed, (March 11,2025,) the Company demanded another $2,000 , saying the fascia had to be replaced, We agreed to that additional amount despite the fact that the building was inspected before receiving the first quote. It was agreed that installation would be complete by 2PM March 13 at which time I would visit and pay the remainder due. I went to job site: Nothing was done. I called the Company and spoke with Chris Laplante who said a lift was needed. On 3/17 the estimator called and demanded an additional $960 to cover the cost of a lift. I refused and demanded they comply with the contract. I was told the "boss" would get back to me. On 3/20 Mr. Laplante called and reduced the additional demand to $480 . I refused and only after threatening civil and criminal action was the $1930 deposit returned. It is apparent that there was never any intention to comply with the contract and the intent was securing free money for about 3 weeks. read more

2 stars only for the excellent work done by the contractors who came to my house. Otherwise it would be zero stars. Communication, or rather, lack thereof, with this place is ABYSMAL. The "scheduler" Brenda (I think thats her name?) flat out does not answer the phone or return phone calls. I left 4 voicemails and attempted to call every single day for 1 week and nothing was ever returned. I had to call the corporate phone number to try to reach the local office, aka "Brenda", and even the person at the corporate number wasn't able to reach her. They showed up promptly for the estimate and were professional and fair priced - no problems there. The issues began after that. Zero communication with me for more than a week when I was desperately trying to get the work scheduled (the estimate is only good for 30 days). I never got a confirmed date; then I randomly got an email and a text saying they were showing up on X date. Lo and behold, X date rolls around, I am home taking time from work; no one shows up. I call to find out why no one came; I am told that it was related to "weather". No one told me that the visit was canceled. No one told me when it was rescheduled until I asked explicitly. THEN, I still was waiting to schedule for the actual work order (the first visit was an estimate, the second visit was to photograph the property & take measurements to order supplies), I am still unable to get ahold of Brenda and I resort to leaving desperate voicemails begging to get put on the calendar and to please call me back. No response. Finally; out of the blue; I get a random email and text telling me that my work order is scheduled for X date. I confirm and think that all is well. I schedule time off work. 3 days later, I get another email and text message telling me that my work order is now the next day, at 8 am. I had less than 18 hours notice. I had to call out of work - again. I call, AGAIN, to find out what the problem is; are they showing up on X date or this new date that no one told me about and no one confirmed with me? I begged AGAIN to please get a call back to confirm what day they were actually showing up so I can rearrange my work schedule. I call the corporate number to try and get this sorted; they tell me that "they dont do the scheduling; that is the local franchise responsibility" - and they are unable to get ahold of her. So there I am, 12 hours before this supposed time that they are supposed to come, not knowing if they are going to show up that day or the original work date that was confirmed by me, 5 days later. They showed up that morning the next day - excellent work. No complaints there. But this scheduling/communication at the office is atrocious and I will NEVER EVER EVER use this company again and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone. Ever. read more

Beware they take your deposit and tell you they can do the job ,NOT TRUE. After numerous promises to start the job and broken appointments plus my wasted time they finally appeared on the job and said "OH WE CAN'T DO THAT" a simple gutter cover ??? The estimator did show up on time. He was arrogant and was trying to tell me that I did not know how my drainage system worked and a house that I have lived in for 25 years. I requested that some repairs be done to reconnect the draining system. When the Workman showed up the repairs I requested were not on the work order. So obviously the estimator paid no attention to my request. When the estimator left, he said that someone would contact me to schedule the work for a prior week. The first notice I received was a call that said they would be there in 30 minutes. no adult was going to be at my home during that timeframe. I called the office and express my disclosure of only being given a 30 minute notice. They said they would try and cancel the service call but we're extremely uncooperative about getting it done. When the work was finally done, I was not present, but my son-in-law was at the house. Like I said, the repairs are requested were not on the work order and when my son-in-law asked for them to be done, he was told they're not on the work order they acquiesce and do one repair which was extremely poorly, in addition, previous companies that I have used would bag up the debris from the gutters and leave it neatly on the driveway to be disposed of. The brothers Workman just threw the delivery out of the gutters. It was all over my deck all over my in my flowerbeds on my walks , it was a mess. There was even debris in my dogs outdoor water dash they had sent me a review about the estimator. My responses was so negative that I haven't received a request for review to the work. They were terribly expensive and did absolutely horrible work I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
