She apologized and asked what she could do to make up for it, and they ended up comping my wife's omelet, which I appreciated. Prices were not bad at all, food was good, and the ambiance was friendly, if a bit dark. I think it would serve them better to rebrand as a diner and embrace that good breakfast menu, that way someone ordering a vanilla latte won't be surprised when it comes in a styrofoam cup.
