However, if they they are not enforced, you may as well take them down. I met as many as three people gong the wrong way on many aisles. Some were store employees. This has been true every time I have been to Food Lion in the past nine months. If your store employees don't follow the rules, you cannot expect anyone else to. If the store employees are going to be on the aisle, they could enforce the direction of traffic. At the checkout lines, some people are taking the social distancing as a reason to cut in line. I was cut off once before, and a woman tried to do it today. Vance County had 42 COVID-19 cases yesterday. We all need to respect the rules to get through this pandemic safely. Food Lion has put forth the steps to succeed, but they won't work if they aren't enforced.

This was actually my first ever visit to an Aldis. It is a smaller grocery store than I am…read moreaccustomed to. Typically I would go to Food Lion or Walmart to grocery shop. I and a friend only purchased one item since we were only visiting to check the place out. It is smaller but carries all the essential items you would purchase from other grocery stores. A bunch of brands that I had never seen before and not as much variety in the same category of items. One thing that stood out to me was only being one option for purchasing eggs. That was amazing! No regular size, jumbo, or whatever variation of eggs. Only one option which is kind of a trend throughout the store. I love the simplicity of it. I did see that you bag you're own groceries and you had to use a quarter to take a grocery cart which you get back when you place it back in the stall. That's a great way to save on staffing extra employees and keeping the costs down for customers. I really enjoyed my first ever trip to Aldis and will for sure head back sometime in the near future.

I called the store and she was so rude to me and hung up in my face I called back and she hung up in my face again when I asked the managers name.I am 54yrs old and never in my life been treated so badly. I grew up in that neighborhood and been going to that store for over 40 yrs and wouldn't go to another but me and my family will never return.

So I went inside and nicely asked the clerk did it work with credit cards...and without even looking up from flipping through her magazine, she said "Don't be acting stupid like everyone else...I don't know...just because it has a credit card slide on it don't mean it works...it ain't our machine, we just rent it." I was appalled at how rude she was. I work in Customer Service and spoke to her very kindly and expected the same in return. She made me NEVER want to go back in that store ever again, unless she is no longer working there...and I live just walking distance away and am a really good customer. I get all of my gas there, but NOT anymore.

this was a roadside stop on my drive from Richmond to Raleigh NC. when you enter the building, the…read morefirst thing you see is the country store. i always thought this was a charming characteristic of Cracker Barrel, as not a lot of other establishments have this. it feels very homey here and i particularly liked the soda selection along the back wall. however, food is the most important. i ordered two items, a beef dish and the chicken n' dumplings. the beef dish was very good, it was warm, cooked nicely, great flavor. but i was still hungry, so i ordered more food. unfortunately, the chicken n dumplings wasn't as good. it was served to me cold, and barely had any chicken. i also found that it lacked the same deep flavor of the beef dish previously. nonetheless, i had excellent service. my server was the sweetest woman in the world! she had an incredible southern hospitality that brightened my experience very much. as a kid from southern california, this was a nice surprise. overall i really like cracker barrel. i'm gonna try other things on the menu next time, but i thìnk they have to do better on the chicken n dumplings.
