Sat at the bar, because we like the vibe there better. Super impressed with the bartender. Not only made great martinis, she's a certified sommelier and had great recommendations for wine pairing with food. Started off with some raw oysters. Prepared properly (separated from the bottom shell). Fresh and tasty. Next was the appetizer special, seafood mix salad on crispy potato bars. Interesting and tasty. Finally, we had the grilled octopus. Seriously some of the best I had. Nice and tender and grilled just right. Service was outstanding and attentive. Atmosphere was lively, without being noisy. Met a nice couple that go there every week for date night. It will be in our regular rotation of places to go.

However, our disappointment isn't so much with the meal. It's with how their manager, Anthony, handled the situation. Instead of showing empathy, apologizing, or making us feel like valued customers, Anthony spoke to my wife in a condescending, disrespectful, argumentative and unprofessional manner. No customer should ever be talked down to or belittled. A manager sets the tone for the entire restaurant. Anthony's behavior turned our evening into an unacceptable dining experience. Because of him, and him alone, we will never come back. I hope management take this review seriously. Food can always be corrected, but the way customers are treated is what determines whether they'll ever return. Unfortunately, because of how Anthony handled this situation, we will not be back, and we will not recommend Estuary to others. I sincerely hope no future customer has to experience the same treatment.

Seafire Grill in New Port Richey, was a nice lunch stop for my wife and me on Saturday. The…read moreinterior is elegant, with views of a small harbor, and on past visits we've even seen dolphins. It's a large space with a modern bar, booths along the windows, tables scattered throughout, and two event rooms on either end of the main dining room. Sara greeted us promptly, as usual with a smile, and was attentive without hovering. I had a Buffalo Trace Manhattan, she had an Angry Orchard, and my small glass came with enough ice to keep it in the freezer for the next shift. I had the blackened shrimp tacos. Tasty, with a little tang, but this is where the pricing starts to raise an eyebrow. They were $17 for 2, and most other places give you 3 for $16 or less, usually with sides too. She had the steak quesadilla at $18, which also felt a little steep. Most others are $14 or less. Still, she enjoyed it, so there's that. For once, there was no 3% credit card upcharge, but at these prices, you have to figure it's already built in somewhere. The food was good overall, though I think the meal came in about $10 high. I also hear the place is for sale. Good food, service, ambiance, and view. All pretty common on the Gulf of America -- which is kind of the point, I guess. They've got a few easy, not-too-expensive fixes, so I'll leave it to you to be the judge.

It was easily accessible by the birthday girl who was using her walker. Service was wonderful! Sarah was prompt with bringing our drinks after we ordered them, and keeping those drinks full. She brought us our food orders as soon as they were ready. Everything was at the proper temperature and delicious. Our party ordered salmon, fried shrimp, fish & chips and Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Our meals were filling, and what we couldn't eat came home with us! We are definitely returning for the fried shrimp!! We brought cake which Sarah expertly delivered to the table once we were done with dinner. Only one candle was not lit when she placed it in front of the birthday girl. But that was okay! She blew out the others to get her wish. I'm betting that wish was to return here. Everything was memorable and enjoyable!!

We started with the cheese bread and pork belly guacamole - both delicious. Drinks: wife got Pina Coloda and I got the Caipirinha, both made well. We order the 3 lbs of meet and the premium meet tray with mash potatoes (garlic and great!), asparagus, sautéed vegetables and caramelized bananas. This dinner was wonderful and we came away with take home box with some left over meat. Service was prompt and took excellent care of us. Only negatives: small area, we were lucky wasn't that busy but tight accommodations. Drinks: zero refills, unless you get tap water. We will return? Absolutely. If the owner keeps this up he will soon be able to expand his operation into a larger setting.

In the manner of all Brazilian style steakhouses, ALWAYS, ALWAYS OVERPRICED! The food is good, the…read moreservice is mediocre to nearly good service. I have no idea how they "get away" with charging such prices for their beef, chicken, lamb served with "sticky rice" (by the way on my trips to Brazil, I do not recall EVER getting lousy sticky rice - normally it is a Jasmine variety that is delicious and never sticky!) Also Black beans and a small assortment of side sauces that were decent. Oh and very soft Pao de Queso... one of my all time favorites, very much UNDERCOOKED - but I still liked it, due to the difference in cooking style. I have always had Pau de Queso well baked, with a hard crusty outer shell and a soft inner cheesy delightful center! Ani was the waitress, she is Cuban, while the remainder of the staff appears to be Brazilian, not sure, did not have the opportunity to ask. Ani worked her butt off, while the 4 others stood around watching. I hated that I had the sense of prejudice, maybe my "American" sensitivities were set off? I am a conservative, usually not looking for such BS, but this just seemed to be a bit obvious. Albeit the initial amount of people dining was 5 tables with an average of 4... she was able to do her job, but at the sacrifice of timely service to tables. The "ambiance" is fine, nothing truly distinguishes this as a Brazilian restaurant; I have been to Brazil 6 times, there restaurants do not really have anything distinguishable. Except the road side Churrasco - or those inside wayfaring gas stations... always loved those set ups! After sitting and being served for 1.5 hour, the people started to come in... and the place was full of families having a good meal! The other staff finally stepped up and did a good job! All of the staff were congenial, engaging and proactively serving, once the crowd showed up. Do I recommend this place? Yes, but only for an event where you seek a casual ambiance, decent food, pretty good service and you want a less expensive (albeit still expensive) alternative to the "high falooting" Brazilian Steakhouses like Rodizio or Texas de Brazil... those are off the charts!

When we walked in we were immediately greeted and one of the young ladies asked us if it was our first time in. She then proceeded to explain the menu and let us know what they were out of. The owner was also walking around greeting customers and he spoke to us. After we placed our take out order, one of them offered to bring the food to our which was nice. We ordered the dark meat chicken dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans plus a few extra sides: french fries, collard greens, and potato salad. We also ordered the original banana pudding and strawberry crunch banana pudding. The chicken was delicious and the sauce was fantastic. I wish we could've bought a bottle of it to take home with us. The sides did not miss either. My favorite side was the baked beans and my husband loved the fries. I LOVE my baked beans with ground beef in them. The banana pudding was so so good and it was devoured immediately. Wish we would've bought two more lol. Note: The collard greens have smoked turkey in them not pork, so I appreciated that. Absolutely wonderful meal to close out our trip to the beach. Highly recommend stopping by, and I can't wait to visit Tarpon Springs again just to eat here.
