Zaxby's is easily one of my top favorite fast-food spots! Their Zalads are always fresh and flavorful, but my go-to order has to be the 5-piece Boneless Wings Meal or the Great 8 Meal with Tongue Torch sauce. I've tried many of their other sauces and flavors, but that one is just phenomenal. Recently, I got a birthday reward through the Zaxby's app for a free treat and chose the fried cheesecake bites and they were absolutely delicious! The location I visit is always clean, the staff is friendly, and the dining area has a nice open layout that makes it comfortable to eat in. I also love that they have the Coke Freestyle Machine, so there are tons of drink options to choose from. Zaxby's never disappoints. Great food, great service, and great vibes every time! read more

It was my first time at Zaxby's, and I saw their commercial for the Surf & Turf meal. I will give it a try. I got 8 small shrimp & 3 Chicken fingers, with fries and a drink. The shrimp was small, and the chicken fingers were no big deal. Fingers were not crispy at all. The fries were pretty good. Fingers were not tender and a bit soggy. Though I didn't taste or eat anything else. So, my review is just for the Surf & Turf meal, which I do not recommend, especially at $15. I won't be coming back anytime soon. They also charge 95 cents for their sauce, but do give you Ranch sauce with the meal, which I hate. It would be nice if they gave me a choice of sauce. read more

The place looked clean and the person behind the counter was friendly however I was the only customer in the store with 2 cars at the drive thru not too busy. Before going I checked the website for menu and prices. When I looked at the board inside prices were alot more than on the website and some of the items they no longer serve (website needs an update) NOW let's talk about the food Chicken wings and French fries was my order First of all the wings looked the size of a pigeon wing also they were over cooked and dried out (terrible) French fries were limp and soggy (terrible) couldn't figure out why they serve a piece of sogged out toast but that must Be their trademark. Needed to hit up a drive thru since I had my baby and dog in the car. I didn't want the same old Wendy's and Culver's near my house, so Yelp came to the rescue with something new that wasn't too far--Zaxby's! I ordered the Southern TLC crispy chicken sandwich. It came with lettuce and tomato. And I subbed the mayo for Sweet and Spicy sauce. It was great! The chicken was tender, the breading wasn't greasy or heavy, the bun was soft, and the lettuce was refreshing. The sauce reminded me of a sweet Thai chili sauce, and it lived up to its name--sweet and spicy. I think it would have been bland without a sauce, but they have so many to choose from. I would try a different sauce next time since there are many that sound good. Service was friendly and efficient. I'd come back if I were in the area. read more

Just perfect The chicken tenders were fresh and the wimpy sauce was ok next time I'll stick with my bbq, but the actual chicken was tender and moist! I also ordered traditional wings, plain. I came to zaxbys on Febuary 5th at 2pm. We ordered the wings and things with the tongue torch sauce. We received the food everything looked fine until till I took a bite of a wing (boneless) and realized there was a blonde almost grey hair. I went up to the register with the wing that still had the hair. I spoke to the general manager and he said that the wings are from a factory and then only put them in a fryer. Basically stated that it could not have been from them. I have dark brown hair as well as the person I ate with. He did not offer a refund only a replacement in which he gave me one singular wing. I'm going to go with a 4 because the manager was in training and made a mistake. Truly, it's a 5 because the staff corrected the issue. I just tried Zaxby's for the first time today. Boy, am I impressed. I got the 4 piece fingerz meal. The chicken was great. I don't even know if I want to put this in the "fast-food" category because it's not. Sure they give you food fast and have a drive thru. However food quality is significantly better. They are, in my opinion, way better than chick fil a. I am even going to go to the length to say that their chicken may be better than some franchise restaurants' chicken. I know. I know. I may sound crazy. They have a wide selection of sauces to go with their chicken. I personally tried the sweet and spicy, honey BBQ, tongue torch, and insane. There was another sauce spicier than insane. I belive at that point you may be sacrificing taste for spiciness. Honey BBQ was an alright sauce, nothing spectacular. Sweet and spicy, was pretty good. Had a tiny bit of kick at the end after the sweet wears off. It was nice, and nothing too spicy. Mostly sweet. Tongue Torch kicked up the spice a bit and was very tasty. Something I would consider buying in a bottle form. Insane wasn't significantly spicier than tongue torch. I just liked the flavor of tongue torch a bit more. The french fries were very good. Not greasy at all. Reminded me a lot of the crinkle cut ones you would get at a neighborhood BBQ. Not much else to say about a sliced and fried potato. The coleslaw wasn't anything to brag about but I feel like how everything else was more than I expected, it can be excused. The meal also came with a slice of buttered garlic toast which was very nice. My friend ordered a salad and thought that it was very good. I won't really be able to include much more because I didn't want to hold an full on 60 minutes interview during lunch. I do want to point out that it came on a plate as opposed to a plastic container like other fast food places. That impressed me. Overall: I was very impressed and full after visiting here. My chicken finger meal was the smallest size and more than enough for me. The customer service was very impressive. Food was plentifull and tasty. Its just very disappointing i have heard good reviews on this chain name, bur after going there myself i don't see what all the enthusiasm is about. First, it is overpriced for three SMALL chicken strips, fries, a piece of bread and a drink you pay eight dollars. On top of that the chicken strips were dry and very basic. I expected something much much better than what i have got. The fries were basic again and the bread was underwhelming. with all the pictures about it you expect it to taste amazing, but really all it was was a darn piece of bread that was salty and quite light in color. And I'm so glad I did! This location doesn't disappoint. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. I'm now a pescatarian and my family are meat eaters so we get to try from different prospectives. I always get the Cobb Zalad and it's one of the best Cobb salads I've ever had! Took my Dad out to lunch at Zaxby's today after seeing all the good reviews here on Yelp. Dad had the Southern chicken sandwich and he was impressed by the size of the chicken fillet. The sandwich had 2 nice ripe tomato slices and he enjoyed every bite. I ordered 5 chicken fingers and 3 different sauces. The original sauce didn't do much for me. The teriyaki was just a bit too sweet for my taste but it was still good. The tongue torch sauce was perfect for me! Very flavorful and a nice amount of heat.
