We came in at about 4:30 in the afternoon, and there was only one other customer there. After placing our order and finding a seat, the person that I assumed to be the manager and another worker sat a table very close to us and began to loudly discuss restaurant business right there, the manager was griping at the other worker, griping about other workers, and was being generally obnoxious. Then I went to order a to order a to go plate, and witnessed the manager yell at the other worker, and tell her, " I didn't stutter!" Driving through town & needed a kid friendly & dog friendly place to eat lunch. Wouldn't call this place that except for the outside area with bar height picnic tables. However, I'm so glad we stopped! Food was amazing!! This Texan approves of the Texas burger! And the house made tater tots, yum! So good we forgot to take a pic. Staff was very friendly. Where do I begin? This place had AMAZING service, even on a day where some workers didn't even come in. We waited less than 15 minutes for both of our burgers. We went here and my daughter and me ordered the burger and fries . The food was brought to our table and my daughters fries and side of ranch wasn't with the order .The waitress said that her fries were just dropped in and she would bring them when they are ready. We bought sat there and finished the burgers and my fries within a normal time while having a conversation and still no fries were brought to her so I went to the cash registered and complained saying she never got her fries they called a lady which I am assuming was in charge and immediately she got bad tone in her voice with me telling me that it takes 5 to 6 (bad word) minutes to fry them . This was bad customer service to talk to me like this so I walked off went back to table and waited for the fries which came a few minutes later . The whole order should have been brought out at the same time and this could have been avoided . We left the fries on the table since we no longer wanted to be in this restaurant and will NEVER go back .I worked in public and was always told the customer should be treated with respect and this lady didn't respect me or my daughter . No. This place was NOT it. I've eaten a lot of burgers in my time of being alive ranging from fast food, mom & pop places, to gourmet expensive burgers and this place officially takes the cake for being the worst burger I've had. For the price point ($25 for 2 orders) I figured it would be better. I usually only pay that much when it's on the higher quality side.. My burger and fries were ice cold. Not lukewarm or even mildly warm.... they were literally ice cold. My burger was also cold and not well seasoned I got the A1 burger which has A1 sauce, grilled mushrooms and onions and something else. I even added cheese and the whole thing was bland and greasy. The cook also put mayo on the OUTSIDE of the bun so when I picked up my burger, My hands got COVERED in mayo. Bread was toasted on the top half but the bottom half was soggy and not toasted at all. I wouldn't waste my money here again, I could've gone anywhere else. My stomach hurt so bad after eating a few bites because there was so much grease and overall it was just unappetizing. I paid $1 more for avocado thinking it was going to be sliced and ON my burger but instead I got a little side cup of mashed avocado instead. My fries would've been better if they were hot. Today was a day that I was truly disappointed with Burger Grind. I come in at least once a week. I spend $25 every visit. I did something that I've seen several guest do, that was look thru the window on the kitchen door. I was treated so rude worker slapped paper on window with tape. I was just doing what I have seen others do. So I was puzzled and disturbed about this situation. I figured it out...... I'm black, I'm African American!! I loved your food. Really good food... we had the Texan in a burger with the Jalapeño, Sour Dough Bun and the Texan made into the large salad with 1000 Island dressing. As well as drinks we also split an order of their Fried Onion Rings, which were absolutely DELICIOUS All the food was hot and fresh and the wait time from order to table was surprisingly short! Great people and amazing food. We were just passing through and wanted a burger. The Burger Grind is an easy off and on from I-20 so we didn't lose much time by stopping in. They let you choose between 3 different size patties, probably 8-9 bun(bread) type, 7-8 different cheeses, 6 or so types of fries, and about 8 different add ons (I added mushrooms). My youngest son got the chicken tenders and they were awesome! Nice patio outside so they are pet friendly as well...they even brought a piece of bacon out for our dog! read more

Burgers & fries are good, they have gluten free buns which is great since I am allergic to wheat. We probably get burgers here once a month and mostly it's a good experience. They are struggling to keep employees so the service is suffering right now. Sadly they aren't the only restaurant in town with this issue since no one really wants to work! Yesterday July 24th I went to burger grind around 3:20 and it was packed a very nice employee came up to take my order and she was really nice it took them awhile to take my order until I realize there was only two employees working there they apologize for taking so long to take my order but I told them that it was okay because I could see it was only two of them I asked them where their manager were and they replied with that she isn't here at the moment the place was very packed at the time because I believe West Monroe High School had something going on at the time I seen a lot of kids coming from there into burger grind it took at least 5-10 minutes of me waiting to get my order taken and it took at least almost 30 minutes for my food to be brought out I truly felt for those two employees but they did an amazing job for it to just be them two even though it took almost 30 minutes for my food to be brought out read more

Tried this place today for the first time and I must say I did not regret it. I went with the Texas burger on jalapeño bread and boy did it hit the spot. The bread complimented the jalapeños and pepper jack cheese perfectly with its sweetness. The buns were toasted perfectly to add an extra crisp on top of the crispy bacon. I like the fact that they have paper towel rolls on the table instead of napkins, this definitely gives it that down south rustic feeling with the tin walls and setup they have going on in this place. I got Curley fries to go with my burger with which I went with the 1/4 pound patty. They serve up to a pound patty in this place! Yes a pound!! Stopped here on a road trip (the reviews were good), this burger was the most bland POS I've ever had. There was no seasoning on it to be found. I got a breakfast burger (sunny side up egg on it and bacon (bacon on side I don't eat pork)). The egg wasn't runny, they put way too much cheese on the burger I had to pull half of it off. The burgers are over 10$ and you pay extra for sides (fries, onions, pickles). This burger is worth 6$ after tax at best.. I'm so disappointed I wasted my money here. The staff were friendly, but I'd not recommend eating here. read more

The food is pretty good, when they do it correctly. Went to pickup an on-line order recently and they couldn't find it. After a few minutes of looking they discovered the order but it had never been put into the system to be made. Had to sit and wait..... They have some personnel issues that can easily be fixed with better supervision but at times they have a "do not care" attitude. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the Burger Grind. While ordering our food the waitress talked up the burgers so much that once we tasted them it left us feeling like we had been lied to. I ordered the Bleu Bomber burger. The bleu cheese bacon and Cajun seasonings are some very strong toppings for a burger, so the burger should have enough kick to be a good burger, right? To my dismay it was not that good of a burger. To me the burger patty lacked any flavor. The meat also tasted as if it was old. When this place is on point, they have the best burgers around! Seriously they are amazing! The problem is that sometimes they run out of the good meat and you end up getting a frozen hamburger patty. When that happens, ! You can immediately tell the difference in quality. I usually spend about $10-$11 when I come here, which is fine for the high quality burger you expect. But when you get the frozen patty burger, not so much! So basically, take your chances and go here. If you get lucky and go when they have plenty of fresh meat, you're in for a delicious burger treat! I visit Burger Grind in West Monroe quite often but this time it was horrible. I ordered over the phone and I asked that mustard not be put on my hamburger. Of course mustard was all over the burger.
