This is one of my favorite places to pick up supper on my way home from work. The staff is always so friendly and my order is always prepared quickly. The chicken is my favorite for sure. Their ribs are tender and meaty. I'm not crazy about their fried ribs, but I know other people who love them. They have spicy and mild bbq sauces. I prefer the mild. I've tried most all of their side items and they've been disappointing. I usually don't even bother ordering their sides anymore. While the meats are consistently tasty the sides have been consistently "just okay". I think that their prices are very reasonable. Nothing special about the ambiance at all. One of my favorite places for BBQ, I usually order the "3 meat combo", you pick any three meats (bbq ribs, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, beef brisket) with two sides (twice baked potato salad, chips, pork rinds (my favorite) and beans. I've eaten here three times a week and there is nothing I had here that does not taste good or hate. I love everything here. I recommend the smoke seasoned pork grinds from the sides and the ribs. Absolutely the worst experience with a restaurant we have ever had. Way over priced for what little food you receive. I suggest raising the portion size with a price increase and people would be happier than receiving an order that looks like they are trying to save money and skimp on your order to make a bigger profit...plus food not that great. Order not correct and the owner made excuses as to why it was wrong but no effort to solve the problem. Potato salad tasteless. Got chopped meat instead of sliced beef and rather than correct the error they made excuses. We ordered an order of onion rings and got 3. Not good. The chicken I got was extremely dry, the "baked beans" I ordered literally tastes like they were dumped out of a can and mixed with Kraft BBQ sauce. In town, went by again for great BBQ. My dad had a two meat plate with ribs and brisket. I had a ham and cheese poboy. Twice baked tater salad, stellar as always. Extra order of onion rings, great. Gravy I love, not too thin or too salty. If I want salty I'll add it. So love the way they fix the gravy. First time my dad has had food from there and loved it all. Day 1 of BBQ challenge. It was alright. Ordered the 3 meat combo and got got ribs, brisket, and sausage. Now you can skip the brisket and ribs because it was nothing better than fine. Couldn't find a smoke ring on the brisket for the life of me, so I left it there on the plate after a few chews of it. However, the sausage was the best. I highly recommend the sausage drenched in their spicy bbq sauce. You can cast aside their regular sauce too. The fries were good and seasoned well. And then the beans were meh. Expected better after reading the reviews. My wife had the turkey, and she said you can definitely skip that too. Who cubes turkey. Where was the thin slices. It look like they had a deli turkey and cubed it. I tried it too and their was no taste to it. To be honest, there was no smoke taste to any of their food. read more

They manage to keep a lean brisket without letting it get dry. Their sauce has a nice sweet bite to it. The slaw is refreshing and the beans could be a meal unto themselves. The food was mostly tasteless. The potato salad had very little flavor. The beens seemed to have been warmed up from a can. The brisket was more gray than pink. The barbecue sauce had a weird flavor. The banana pudding was like instant vanilla pudding with small vanilla cookies around the edge and 3 small slices of banana hidden on the bottom. The staff was friendly and fairly prompt.
