What a great place to shop for your landscaping needs! I felt like I was in a candy store. The Bushel Stop makes Flamingo Gardens look small. They have some unique items that no other store or garden center has in this area. I came for sod. Bruno, the new puppy that I rescued on New Year's Eve in the Everglades has been playing with my other two dogs in the yard and bringing dirt in the house. Their sod was excellent quality. I should have waited until my son was available with his truck but they were able to put the sod in the trunk of the new car. I got a cart and couldn't resist the gorgeous scent of the jasmine. Then I found some beautiful annuals. The Mexican lavender was super fresh so on the cart that went too. I even got a new pair of rose trimmers. My neighbor needed mulch so I picked up a couple bags for them and without any space left in my car, I left a happy gardener. read more

Some things are priced nicely but we believe the stones are too expensive. We were helped by Yesenia, and we must say she is very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Planters are nice but much to expensive at this location too. the do have nice fountains, good soil and sand decently priced. Their selection of plants is not as wide as other nearby nurseries we visited considering this is a large location. read more

I called the Bushel shop which is actually the Florida Nursery Mart before I made my trip as I was looking for a specific item. I wanted a fruit plant for a hanging planter on my patio. They did not have strawberries and recommended raspberry. The plants were tall so I asked repeatedly if this was suitable and was told yes so I spent the $40. Their variety of raspberry is a 5-6' bush and certainly not suitable for a hanging planter. I called them back and the manager that gave me the information in the store said my only return option was " Store Credit" or I lose 20% for a restocking fee... 1 hour after my purchase!!! There are many choices in this area for nurseries and products and I strongly recommend you do not choose this one. Not knowledgeable at all and their return policy is a joke!! read more

Terrible customer service from the very first phone call, should have known. Eventually was able to place an order for three pallets of grass to be delivered to my property in Hallendale Beach. Grass was overgrown and dry. We ran out of grass and decided to go to another place to pick up more to finish the job. You can totally see the difference between the two! Although I tried calling and speaking to Gonzalo Gandica and to Alex, neither one provided any type of solution in fact, Gonzalo Gandica was very sarcastic and very unprofessional!! Love their selection. They have some items that are geared toward landscapers but that is awesome for the do it yourselfer. I really go for their plastic border for separating the lawn from your shrubs, trees etc. Heavy duty with nice heavy duty spikes. Purchased sod. Sod was dry and burnt. showed pictures to employees and requested 20 pieces from the pallet that died. I've planted at least 60 pallets and never had sod die until now. Of course I watered adequately. The first question that came out of sales persons mouth maybe you didn't put enough water. I said I did and of course the other sales person said maybe you put to much water and they all turned away like I wasn't around. Lousy service and do not stand behind their products read more

My husband and I went there around 3 times and same horrible service. Gonzalo is really rude and the blond lady at the front desk is always grumpy. Both are very arrogant. They don't understand that they need their customers, not the other way around. We as customers don't need them, we can go to another place to spend our money where professionalism is a must. First time there after driving by many times. I said this to the lady at the counter and she dismissively said "oh". Not hello, welcome anything. I was blown away by their selection. The variety is unparalleled, but the "Normal" stuff that you can find anywhere was way more pricey that the other locals. When I asked the lady about the rocks I wanted she just said "go look at the display outside" She didnt want to be bothered. Overall nice place but very expensive.... after paying $85 in delivery costs for 1 pallet of grass, the driver just literally "dumps" the grass in my yard, completely blocking my sidewalk. I dont know if this is the typical way they deliver grass but they should definitely handle it differently for residential properties. I understand you cant expect the driver to help unload the grass but I think the fault is with the main store dispatch. read more

Got a delivery today of pine straw mulch, and the driver could not have been more friendly and upbeat. He called an hour before getting to my house and helped move it to the side of my house. After, he swept the debris on my driveway. The ladies that helped set up the delivery were also very friendly and helpful. I only drop a star, because some of the bales had some fire ants in them. read more

I was there recently and my wife was harassed by employees at the bushel stop griffin location. I walked away for a few moments and I come back to a employee flirting with my wife and not helping me when I've asked nicely multiple times. They shouldn't hire people like lewis. I know of no other place to get all the stuff I need. These people have it all! No one else has say coquina sand or all those cool rocks I like. The expanded and it looks great. The old crew is super helpful and k knowledgeable, after the expansion they have a couple guys though that are clueless and will give you the wrong mulch. The Bushel Stop has an awesome selection of rocks, mulch, landscape materials, plants etc. Their prices are fair. Its quick to get in and out. But what makes me keep going back to the Bushel Stop is "GONZO" the manager. Gonzo is awesome. He is very knowledgeable and will give you great service and great advice every time!! read more

Walking into the bushel stop was no problem at all people are very friendly. I was buying a pallet of sod and when the gentleman wrote down the price of the pallet, he stated it would be $175, I even mentioned that seemed a little pricey. His response was "they keep going up." Immediately after, I did some homework knowing it was high, I called four nurseries around the surrounding area, all within three mile radius, finding out they all go for $145. So buyer beware! He will make up prices based on what they feel they want to charge! Completely taken advantage of, I will spread the word to everyone. read more

So upset with this place! My husband and I had bought $1700 worth of supplies but we are having trouble with permits and therefore needed to get a refund for now till we can proceed with the project.
