The menu prices are way too expensive for the quality of food they serve here. $14 for a small basket of cheese curds and $19 for a basic chicken sandwich with low quality chicken breast that did not include sides! Sides were $5 extra for a 4oz portion of coleslaw. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has a great view looking out at the marina but is not worth the price[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

What a pleasant surprise!! Best fish taco I have ever had. Great selection of beer. I couldn't have been happier. The night we were here there was a live band. It was richly entertaining with the local coming up and singing with the band. The decor is very low key bar/ restaurant, The kitchen is top notch elevated pub food.

We stopped in to eat at this restaurant as we were driving through town today. We were excited to learn that they had just opened up their outside patio for lunch today so we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and the fantastic great views. We were immediately tested outside as soon as we arrived and heard about the great chef specials. My husband and I birth ordered a Bloody Mary for our beverage and he also ordered a porter to go with it. Our beverages were awesome, hit the Saturday vacation need spot Our mains were the buttermilk chicken sandwich with the Brussels sprouts and the fish sandwich with the fries. We both enjoyed our meals, they were awesome. If you find yourself traveling though this neck of town be sure to stop by! Also, watch the funny curb in the middle of the parking lot, you could bottom out!

We are new to the area so we still are learning our way around and finding new restaurants. Luckily, we have made some great new friends in a short amount of time who have helped us navigate the restaurants and businesses at the towns around here. They had not been to the Cabbage Shed but were eager to check it out again in the age of COVID. The food was awesome, from the soup and appetizers through the dessert (we were close to being stuffed but had to get the full experience). We made it even more special was the service and attention to details. Our server was the wife of the cook, so of course the also had the inside information on the menu and the specials. Looking forward to going back again soon!

The best view and fantastic food and service. Went with my best friend of 40+ years to celebrate my 60th birthday. Our server, Lucy, was awesome. Attentive, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and best of all: hilarious! I will forever remember this meal as "The Shrimp Incident - A Moment of Silence". Can't wait to visit again in a few weeks.

Well loved local spot, live music playing on many nights. This is a spirited, water side, fun place with a varied menu. The locals will tell you about carving their names on the tables- that's discouraged these days but still fun to add to the stories of their visits in the past. Known for great burgers, lots more variety than that. Check it out! Make sure to take a "cabbage head" picture out front!

Villa Marine Bar is the place you visit if you want cheap drinks and a beautiful view! My husband and I visited two nights in a row and didn't leave disappointed. They had a drink special for a pomegranate margarita and it was delicious! I also tried the blackberry margarita and no complaints. I've never had a drink from the Villa Marine Bar and questioned if there was alcohol in it because you test it instantly haha. The staff at the Villa Marine Bar are friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was new to waitressing (she told it was her first shift) and it was amazing seeing how patient everyone was with her. She was awesome and even remembered my group the next day when we visited. I was able to try the popcorn chicken during my first visit. It was okay but as I mentioned earlier, you go to the Villa Marine Bar for the drinks. Most of the people I observed were there for the drinks. The view of the marina was lovely. I visited right before the sun started setting so it was nice to see the color change of the sky.

It appeared to be a sports bar and restaurant from how it was decorated and the TV sets playing Tennis. Our server seated us, quickly took our drink order and got our breakfast menus. I ordered the Two Egg breakfast (eggs over easy, Sourdough toast) and my wife got the Big Breakfast, (eggs medium) which she wanted for the pancakes. The meals took a while even though the place wasn't busy. We soon found out the eggs had been switched. Her's were easy over and mine were medium. So we switched the eggs. My easy over eggs were not fully cooked before they were flipped. My wife's medium eggs were cooked perfectly. However neither egg dish was salted or peppered while being cooked. The pancakes were perfect however. Light, fluffy, and delicious!' She shares one with me and I agreed, delicious, light and fluffy. Her hash browns were not cooked except on the surface. Mine were cooked nicely. However again the hash browns were not salted or peppered during cooking as far as I could tell. All and all the food was good for a breakfast place and the serving sizes were adequate for what we ordered.

Unfortunately it's under new ownership now and they've ruined the place. The lighting is now harsh, the food quality just isn't there anymore and the service is rushed.
