My go to Pizza place in Bath Maine area. Thin crust, plenty of sauce, cheese and toppings. Sauce and cheeses goes all the way to the end of the crust. No need for stuffed crust gimmicks to make up for the lack of flavor. Mom and Pop place that has not changed in the 27 years I have been coming up to Bath for work. Prices are fair and the service is good. Not in the heart of the downtown Bath, but worth the 5 minute drive.

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet! Been coming here for great pizza, salads and subs since the 1990's. Great service, tasty pizza, salad. I love the cheese bread! Great deal at $5 ! Cash only! I tend to forget! They have an ATM in the restaurant in case you forget.

On vacation and camping in Boothbay, craving pizza and the best pizza is at The Cabin in Bath, about a 35 min drive from Boothbay. We have nothing but time to kill so off we went. Located in an Historical building across from the shipping yard with parking next to restaurant. When you go in, it's like stepping back in time inside. Old wooden booths and wood floors, nautical decor, dimly lite. The booths all have a lamp on the table, big place with 3 different areas to choose a table to eat. Cash only, ATM machine near order and pickup counter. Serve beer on tap and in bottles and many can soft drinks, no ice. Paper plates, if you want silverware they give you just that, no plastic. Walk up to the counter, check out the menu and order and pay, take your name and deliver your order to your table. You also can sit outside in a quaint private area along the side of the restaurant. Beer/ 4.00 per glass, also serve pitchers. Was busy and our food came to us after a 40 min wait. Ordered 14" pizza, also come in 10" size and a jumbo family size 28" huge! Our pizza was perfect, we requested well done and it was. Delicious with ample cheese and toppings and we ordered the sweet and spicy red sauce, yum! Prices are fair, give you your money's worth, beer was ice cold, great dinner, we were happy. They have hot subs, specialty subs, cold subs, salads, pasta dinners, appetizers, check out this place and give them a try. Employees were all so friendly and working their butts off, tip jar at counter and boy do they deserve their tips!! Fantastic pizza, this place has a cult following and loved by the locals. Planned a 20 person party a month in advance Multiple emails…read morere the date and menu choices including a phone call to go over menu with Kristy On day of party when my family showed up, the restaurant forgot about the party and had nothing prepared. Fortunately, it was rectified in time for guests and rest of party went well. However, that was upsetting to hear. When I called to inquire about mishap All I had the chance to do was state my name and asked to speak to Kristy. I was told by "Ellie" this is a really bad time to call on a Friday during happy hour and that maybe I can speak to Kristy on Tuesday. I got the feeling just by saying my name she knew why I was calling. Her tone sounded like I was a burden. I told Ellie that her answer was very inappropriate and not very nice customer service. Over all my family said the server was very nice and food was good. Disappointed that all the effort to plan was lost. Apparently the answer my family got from the restaurant was they have a lot of parties over the next couple weeks.

The atmosphere is small town local bar. On a beautiful day the doors are propped open. Regulars walk by on their afternoon walk with their dog. The dog wants to come inside because it knows it gets treats here. The dog owners say they don't have time to stop in today and tell the bartender they will see her on Friday. The drinks are tall. Check the photos. Exactly what you would expect at place like this. The service is excellent. Everyone helping each other out. Taking care of the customers. The bathrooms are downstairs in the basement. There are a restaurant couple rooms in the basement...looks like great rooms to host private dinner parties. I noticed they were proofing the dough on big trays set out on the restaurant tables. The dough looked amazing. So puffy, so fluffy. I knew we had to try the pizza the minute I saw that dough! We ordered the Speck-tacular pizza which has roasted mushrooms, prosciutto, arugula, Gruyere and mozzarella, plus a few other perfectly paired ingredients on thin charred pizza crust. It is so good!!!! We also tried a pepperoni pizza, also fantastic. Same dough, red sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni. So basic and so tasty! The wood fired oven makes a difference. We also tried the signature wings, bone in. It sounds a little different....sweet chili sauce and bacon bits? It is fantastic! Real bacons bits atop a perfectly fried chicken wing drenched in a sweet chili sauce. We also had to try the Sicily pizza which has a thick (not thin) crust with pepperoni. It was similar but quite different from the thin crust pepperoni pizza. I loved both versions. We brought it all home and had a lot of leftovers...which we happily ate for a couple days. Lastly, all restaurants and bars and coffee shops should have this! In the women's room, a shelf to put your phone, wallet, small purse, and a spot to hold paper towels. Very handy! Look in the photos.

I honestly think Portland Pie Company in Brunswick has some of the worst pizza dough I've ever had…read more We ordered two small pizzas and neither one was good. The pepperoni pizza was overpowering and unpleasant, and the steak & cheese pizza I ordered came out wrong on top of that. The dough itself was the biggest issue. It tasted greasy, lifeless, and heavy -- not airy, fresh, or enjoyable in any way. It honestly felt like the dough had completely lost its texture and quality before it ever made it to the table. To make matters worse, the service felt lazy and inattentive. The table was so sticky I could barely get the menu off of it. Between the poor food quality, wrong order, and lack of cleanliness, I definitely won't be coming back.

They typically always have cheese. The slices are decent sized as well. The pizza sometimes is good and sometimes flat.... Flavors are usually good, which is important to me. Service has always been consistently great. Friendly, prompt, detail oriented and caring about our experience. We have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff members. They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. They have the ability to accommodate the 6 of us with ease on the times we have gone. This is definitely one of the core options when we are in town. Great for our whole family.

I took my wife and daughters here for cocktails to celebrate the holiday weekend. Despite a restaurant/bar that was fairly empty, it was impossible to get any member of the staff to acknowledge we were there. Once served, the drinks were excellent but it would be a very long time before anyone returned. Despite all four of us sitting with empty glasses for at least 20 minutes, the bartender and other wait staff or employees walked by us without even making eye contact. It almost became comical how we were being ignored. It didn't even seem like they were understaffed since we saw quite a few employees walking around endlessly but not seeming to accomplish anything... especially since the establishment was basically empty by the end. The final straw was when a lady who appeared to be an owner or manager arrived behind the bar. She walked by our empty drinks to have the bartender pour her a large shot of tequila (?) with a lime and down it in front of us and then proceed to chat with other employees who were doing nothing. When we finally paid our check and got up to leave, she looked at us and said something like, "thanks for coming, have a nice night!" Truly baffling. I have heard the food is good but I am having a hard time thinking of why I would put myself through that experience again.
