Expect to be greeted with the aroma of "casino" which is just a heavy layer of tar in the wallpaper, circa early 1990's. Chemo anyone? It gets better - for $300 a night, you will also get a rusty dorm fridge (most likely broken) and moldy toilet in the room. Delish! Stay away unless you are already dwelling in heaven's waiting room or plan to accelerate your trip to the after life.

The grounds are gorgeous, staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant is excellent, the Pier Bar is a blast, there's a nice beach, beautiful gardens, and large rooms with great views. The homemade jams/syrup were amazing! Peter's world famous waffles were indeed delightful! Deborah was so easy to talk to and I appreciated her making me feel comfortable while visiting my sister. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The room was beautiful and so very comfortable. Deborah & Peter really engaged with us, took an interest and made time to discuss our plans and offer recommendations. Pretty quickly we felt as though we had a home away from home. We had everything we needed and the breakfast was splendid. We had our own private space, with everything we could need (including an amazing bathroom), but also had opportunity to meet with other guests which made the stay even more memorable. We already know we will be going back - like a number of regular guests Deborah & Peter have. They clearly love hosting guests, and it really shows in what they offer. It's a really nice fit for a certain type of customer, after reading dozens of reviews we booked and I went in optimistic but unsure if we would go again. Our 3 and 8 year old daughters loved the daily programming 8:30-1:30 then 5:30-8:30. We ate all of our meals separately from our children. I mostly slept in and sat by the pool while my kids were in program. Others golfed, played tennis, sailed, played pickleball, water aerobics etc. My favorite part were the evening 'booze cruises' we went on two. We also opted on for family photos which were excellent. These items as well as laundry service, alcoholic beverages and nighttime childcare was not included but when we checked out our final bill was less that I expected. My kids went rock climbing, rode a pony, went on pirate cruises, crafted and got lots of time in the water. My daughter turned 4 on the trip, which was fun and very special. The accommodations were great, small and tidy but all we needed. We spent very little time in our unit. Food was solidly good- my husband is on a strict diet. Pescatarian/vegetarian and there were so many choices for him. Bring 2x the sunscreen and bug spray you think you may need. Pack your passports- one day we went on a quick trip to Canada for lunch and some duty free shopping. The family that owns TP works here. It's been around since 1933. The staff is from all over the world. Lots of interesting and fun families from the US and beyond. We asked to change our week and hope we can get in for 2024.

The place included: fridge; ac units/heat in each room, k cup machine complete w coffee, fixings, and cups; microwave; and shampoo/conditioner. Each cabin/room has a different fish name and the office is also a bait shop. They rent boats for the water (the place abuts the water). The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and go out of their way to help. When I spoke with joanne when we arrived in the state, she helped us locate a place to eat at a late hour. The only caveat is that this location is on the water and there are bugs around. If you leave the door open you will have dozens of bugs flocking to your lighting fixtures. If you do not handle bugs well, this may not be the place for you. If you love to fish, this is home sweet home!
