I cannot believe no one has set up this business, so I cannot believe I'm the first reviewer. I…read morewill try to do my review proud. Our HOA regularly brings food trucks to our 'hood. BBQandTech was tonight's offering. Spousal Unit and I weren't sure if we wanted BBQ tonight (I smoked beef dinosaur ribs this weekend that were really, really good so we were a bit Q'd out). But lazy won, so we picked up pork ribs and brisket to go with sides we had in the fridge. Great choice! BBQandTech's rubs are really nice. I could taste Jamaican seasoning (allspice? Habanero powder?) for a little extra kick. Their meats are smoked on a Stumps smoker using oak, which adds a smooth and clean smoke flavor. Our meats were competition- tender, with a beautiful bark that did not require sauce. Really, really good. While we waited had a great conversation with the owner. You can tell he's passionate about his 'que and the tools he uses to make it. We compared notes (I'm a recovering competition smoker who keeps a smoker going all year round) and I really enjoyed the wait. Side point: he hosts a podcast talking about tools, tips, and techniques that he uses in his cooking. This makes him a rare bird in the too-often secretive world of barbecue. I'm writing an email tonight to our HOA to say please, please, PLEASE make BBQandTech a regular vendor in our neighborhood. Hope our neighbors support this excellent food truck!

A single half slice on each, thin slice at that, barely covered half the bun. I combined the slices onto one bun - otherwise I wouldn't have even been able to taste anything but bread. Sure it tasted fine - but "where's the beef?!" - poor value for money.
