I had almost given up on anyone helping me with back pain. My doctor said surgery was my only hope. I was sure a wheelchair was in my future. (Would like to disclose I was late to my appointment so I could have allowed more time for some things and I understand that was my bad.) However this was my first time ever going in for an appointment because I have been having persistent back problems and in the past few days have been in so much pain that I knew I needed to see someone. First of all assumed I was his pal and made me feel very uncomfortable. The assessment of my back was completely ridiculous and had to do with pushing down on my arm until it "gave out" to know what side of my lower back was causing the problem and then persisted to tell me he knew exactly what was causing the problem, my sacrum (pretty much your tailbone) was turning into my hip, and that he has been doing this longer than I've been alive so he knows what he's doing. But I knew better, It was so fake! No X-rays no nothing just had me stood up and pushed down on my arms with some very fake force to get me to think he was on to something and have me say "oh yeah I can totally see the difference you're right!" Told me I needed to do something like 6 rounds of readjustments and appointments to fix my problem and that he sees it all the time. I left very upset feeling like I wasn't listened to and played for a fool. The kicker is I went to a different Chiro the same day and he did a SUPER thorough exam of questioning and prodding for tender locations and movement, and full X-ray. His original assumption was proven correct, NOTHING TO DO WITH MY SACRUM, that I have functional sclerosis and one of my lumbar vertebrae is slightly out of place. He proceeded to get me on the hydro massage bed, readjusted me, and finished everything up with some electro shock therapy which helped so so much. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I had an excellent experience here. The staff was super friendly and was sympathetic to my tremendous pain. I could barely move. Dr Collard diagnosed my back problem within minutes and gave me a treatment that same day. Within 3 days I felt like my own self again. I brought in my son to see Dr. Callard for a cough that would just not go away. It started very intermittently after coming home from overnight camp. I always seek a non-invasive and non-medical approach to healing preferring instead to work WITH the body to find true healing. I went to Dr. Callard for my hip and lower back pain. I have had hip pain for over 20 years and have been to other chiropractors with multiple weekly visits and no relief. He diagnosed the issue immediately and said I would only need 6 visits to correct the problem. I was skeptical since I had been to others with no luck. I not only had relief before we even finished the 6 treatments, I am still pain free and it is 6 months later!! I'm still shocked! Dr Callard is absolutely amazing and literally cites and fixes problems instead of milking the patients pocket and insurance with half butt adjustments like soo many other practitioners do. As for the comment that he's rough, absolute bull crap. Some required adjustments can be uncomfortable because hes moving your misaligned bones. When this is the case he warns you ahead of time and instructs you to ice afterwards, such as wrist and shoulder adjustments. He literally cured my carpal tunnel when everyone else told me surgery was the only way! He also fixed my shoulder pain when everyone else said there was nothing wrong. Dr. Callard and his staff are amazing! He is always helpful in getting to the root of the issue and the new laser treatment is like a miracle for my 11 year old son! He was at the point that he couldn't walk without limping due to Osgood-Schlatter disease. Dr. Callard and his whole staff are professional and friendly. I have suffered from periodic neck pain on and off for years. No Chiropractor has never realized that my shoulder was the main cause of the pain. But Dr. Callard was able to diagnose it within minutes. I am not the type of person who goes to the doctor for maintenance, only when I can't stand the pain any more, but Dr. Callard doesn't give me a hard time, he just adjusts me and recommends that I come back soon. I love the fact that I can always get in to see him the same day - no waiting a week in pain. After a running injury, I did not seek help immediately and pain continued to get worse. The pain started in the hip area running down the entire leg and made running almost impossible. Lesson learned. Do not ignore pain and seek chiropractic help after 3 days. 6 weeks after the injury I saw Dr. Callard. He diagnosed the problem, treated me and immediately I knew the leg and hip was better. I will continue several more treatments and refrain from running for a couple of weeks; however, I feel that after this one treatment, I could go back to running; but will follow his medical advice as I don't want to injury myself. Additional note: I was trying to treat this myself with Aleve and Ibuprofen. Long term this can hurt your liver and kidneys. I have not had to take any pain meds since my adjustment. I am pain free and walking so much better. I highly recommend this chiropractic practice. Do not wait until your symptoms get worse. read more
