    I honestly can't say enough great things about The Camp San Antonio. I came in after seeing a Facebook ad for the 6 week challenge because I was really unhappy with the weight I was at. I was supposed to be getting married in a couple of months and I wanted to show up as the best version of myself. The challenge was definitely that - a challenge! There were days I didn't want to wake up in the morning and come in, but every time I left class, it was worth it. I left feeling rejuvenated and accomplished. I finished my challenge at 21.1 pounds down and I am SO. MUCH. HAPPIER! I've had body image issues most of my life and this helped to put me back in a positive mindset. My jeans fit me again. I look in the mirror and see MYSELF instead of the sad person I saw before, when I gained weight. Overall, if you're thinking about a membership or even starting a 6 week challenge, DO IT. You won't regret your results.

    Amazing place to work out! The trainers are very knowledgeable and will motivate you to work hard. Everyone is very encouraging in the classes. The classes are conveniently before and after work. Music is pretty good and the workouts can be pretty tough. Lots of results at the camp if you stick with it!!!

    Oh where to start ! So many great Things about this camp I had initially saw it on Facebook and decided to go to the orientation to get more information about their six week 20 pound challenge. I am now in my fifth week and I've lost more than what I could do on my own. The camp sessions have a various times throughout the week Monday through Saturday. After five weeks and I have yet to do any duplicate work out it's always different plus you can stay for multiple classes and still get a different work out morning versus afternoon. The motivation and positivity from the trainers and the challengers are so motivating. I Never left without breaking a sweat. The results have been life-changing and people around are definitely noticing the weight loss. I am so proud of myself. I Enjoy & I look forward to coming to my camp class every day of the week eventually the workers will know you by your name and there's no judgment nobody cares if you are big or small. We are all there to help better ourselves. I'm excited for my sixth week and I will love to continue with the camp and become a member.And I honestly feel like I've made the most progress I recommend this place to any and everyone in shape or not. These workouts will kick your butt.

    My experience with the 6 week Challenge at the San Antonio The Camp Transformation Center has been life changing to say the least. In the beginning I was skeptical and felt that I did not need anyone to motivate me to drive results. Boy was I wrong. From the time I met Greg and Suzanne my skepticism was fully eliminated. You could feel the passion they both have for helping individuals realize the benefits of living a fit lifestyle. It was genuine and had me sold as the information they shared hit home and made complete sense. Although I knew I was in for some change I was excited to be challenged with the goal of losing 20 pounds in 6 weeks. Although I had a rough start, the support of our primary Trainer (Julia) and my AFF was the difference. Day one, week one was my biggest challenge as all the toxins and bad eating habits made me confess outside in the back alley multiple times. However I told myself its part of the transformation and I was determined to preserve. As my days turned into my first week completed I could see the results in the mirror and on the scale. My wife and I celebrated clothing wins as we stayed focused and motivated to achieve our goals. I really appreciated the variety of workouts we were presented with each day by Julia. No work out was the same and Julia got the best out of us. Each day we faced a new challenge to overcome and celebrate with my AFF. Throughout the remaining weeks I thoroughly enjoyed the new bonds I made with me fellow campers and seasoned members taking the challenge. Everyone had each other's back and there was no lack of effort or encouragement. This even extended to the sharing of multiple FTDI recipes which helped me and my wife meal prep on the regular. In conclusion I'm more than satisfied with the results as I have lost 26.6 pounds. Starting at 210 and stepping on the scale to see 183.4 was a true victory. I have not seen anything shy of 195 in the past 15 years. That's also why it's an easy call to become a member. I look forward to the next 6 months and living my best fit lifestyle. Give that man a hand! That was some hard ass work. Speaking of work, Beejay had an excellent eye for determining whether you were at peak levels or whether you needed a day with a bit less intensity. He definitely gave a lot of attention to your macros and diet (far more than anyone I've worked with in the past). He's very no nonsense and that's probably not for everyone. If you aren't going to put in the hard work to manage your diet, you will fail and he will let you know it. But if you put in the work, you'd be very hard pressed to find a better trainer in San Antonio (I did work with some of the other trainers at Hasfit and I got to say they were all stellar). Overall, you are going to have to spend some coin (I was at just under $500/month) but when you start seeing the results of that spent money, you aren't going to miss it. You're going to be thankful for the transformative experience as you become fitter and healthier.

The gym is also exceptionally clean; it's clear the owners take pride in the space, because you'll barely find a speck of dirt or even a smudge on the mirrors. The owners, Norm and Joanna, are some of the nicest people you'll meet. They're also very knowledgeable trainers who offer personalized training sessions tailored to your individual goals. What Titan Gym may lack in size, it more than makes up for with its sense of community. The members are incredibly welcoming and diverse--ranging from college students and young professionals to parents and older adults staying active in their later years. It's a place that supports both casual gym-goers and serious lifters alike (including a member who recently placed first in a state powerlifting competition). You also won't find the stereotypical "gym bro" atmosphere here--people are respectful of each other's space, time, and noise levels. The people here also organize activities outside the gym as well, ranging from Spartan races and marathons to casual hikes, beer festivals, concerts, and even weekend gaming. At the time of writing this review, Titan Gym is located in Alamo Ranch, though they plan to move to a much larger facility later this year (close to the Santikos Theatre). That will be a great step forward, as the current space can feel a little cramped in certain areas. Still, even in its current form, Titan Gym manages to create an environment that feels welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of. I noticed that she was looking better than ever and asked what her secret was. Clean eating, a positive mindset, and the BEST fitness trainer was her response. My curiosity was peaked so I decided to check this place out for myself. I met the owner/ trainer, Nate Dilworth, who offered me a trial session to see if the program was right for me. Little did I know how much Nate was about to change my life. I began my fitness journey in May 2011 and I'm still going strong. About the program: This program isn't for everyone. When I say that, I really mean it. The trial session wasn't just to see if the program was right for me, it was also to see if I was right for the program. The main things that the owner looks at when accepting new clients are: 1.) A positive mindset and positive attitude. 2.) The true desire to do what it takes to get fit. 3.) A no excuses, only solutions way of thinking. If you can make it through the trial session without giving up, being negative, or coming up with excuse after excuse for not wanting to do the exercises, then you might make the cut. (Yes, they will modify exercises if need be due to a prior injury/surgery.) The owner is very selective, he wants all of his clients to be successful and have a positive workout environment. This program is not a quick fix by any means, It's a lifetime lifestyle change. This is how the program works: They provide a diet plan for you to follow and provide challenging workout sessions. If you follow the diet plan accordingly, you WILL have AMAZING results! Just in the first two weeks alone, the average person loses between 5 and 15 pounds. I lost 14 pounds within the first two weeks. Basically, if you put in the work and follow the diet plan perfectly, you WILL experience an incredible transformation. I must warn you, this is a positive energy only zone. They don't tolerate negative attitudes or negative talk. You must be willing to keep your mindset positive while taking part in the program. You must also hold yourself accountable. I love the program so much that I plan on being a lifetime member! My journey hasn't been easy, I had my setbacks here and there but I overcame them and I'm now looking better than ever. I'm so much happier, healthier, and sexier because of my decision to become a member. The program has truly changed my life for the better! I started out 2 months ago as an online lifestyle client, having no formal training before, and since the process began, I have decided to not only compete, but to sign on for continued training post competition, and compete in the spring. My first competition is 24 weeks away. I have lost 18 lbs in 2 months, weight I didn't know I was holding, I have not cut out all of the carbs in my diet(in fact I'm eating whole nutrient dense foods now than before). My training plan and cardio plan is supported by Tina herself as well as an in person coach in San Antonio weekly to tweak my movements. For a long time I have struggled with body dysmorphia (as lots of young women do) and have bounced between physically demanding sports. For this reason, I do not count calories or weigh myself daily, Tina has programmed my diet in a way that gives her full control. I eat what she tells me, and work at the intensity level she asks of me. I cannot explain the amount of freedom and confidence that comes with hiring someone who knows your goals and gets you there safely. It's like boxing up my self criticism and giving it to someone else to handle. However, this program is tough(one of the most mentally and physically demanding things I have ever done), and it requires honesty and transparency on all counts. Tina is THERE FOR YOU, even through deviations. If you are serious about transforming your body and your perspective- I recommend her for it all. Through her move to California she has not ceased communication or attentiveness. She is passionate, serious about her work, critical of movements and form, knowledge of all things relevant to competing, and can help you hit new goals.

Two days after payment cleared, she announced she was leaving San Antonio for California within a month. That month turned into a few weeks. Initially she tried to persuade me and my workout partner to work with her online. After requesting refund instead, I was eventually shorted one session. Tina has ignored my communication to review her schedule and my swipe-in days to reconcile the days she left early and the day she overslept and did not show. In other words, she's just ignoring me. I feel she was deceptive from the beginning. She knew she was leaving when she offered us the dual workout plan and used our payments to fund her relocation. My recommendation is to use someone with integrity.

She actually took the time to listen to what I was dealing with--weight gain, wanting to build muscle, and get my balance back after knee replacements. She really got it, and explained exactly how she could help in a way that made total sense. Now I'm 7 weeks in, and honestly--I feel stronger, I've lost 10 pounds, built noticeable muscle, and I feel like my old self again. I'm more active, more confident, and way more energized. Patricia's coaching style is no joke--in the best way. She's 100% present in every session, always making sure I'm moving with intention, never letting me slack.     Is it possible to love a gym THIS much? When it's a place like Alio Fitness Club with trainers…read morelike Danny and Sam, abso-freaking-lutely. Let me explain why Alio is so different. At Gold's Gym, I meandered from machine to machine, half-heartedly gave the treadmill a go and looked over at the free weights section like it was the boss fight that I wasn't leveled up enough to attempt. I would lose a pound here and there but it was all just so.. boring. Alio doesn't do boring. Every day there's a new circuit that works a different set of muscles than the previous day. Add in the music and lighting and Alio makes Gold's look like the Wal-Mart of gyms. Danny and Sam are amazing trainers. Don't know what the heck a sumo squat pulse is? They're there to demonstrate and watch your form to prevent tweaks. Not sure what weight you should use for a single arm kettlebell swing? They're there to help you figure out what'll work for you. On the other end, if you're someone who loves a challenge, they are ready (and willing!) to make a circuit harder for you like adding in extra cardio and/or going up on the weights/reps. The best part of Alio Fitness Club? Results! I've personally witnessed many people get in shape here ranging from people whose goal was weight loss to others who put on serious muscle, it's always inspiring. As for myself, Alio has turned me into quite the flex-addict.. If you want gym results but dread the monotony of #gymlife, try out Alio Fitness Club!
