This place is horrible. Workers always have an attitude about receiving cans and make comments. All you do is count cans, calm down. Will not be going back. This is the 4th time I've dealt with them and it was a mistake. read more

Came in here today and the owner was wasted. Had no clue what was going on around him. Offered to just guess how much I had and pay me for that. I told him no three times. Tried having one of his workers just take bags of cans and not count them. Watch out for these guys that will steal from you and rip you off. I will never be coming here again. read more

How can you not love the Can Man? Show up with a pile a cans and bottles, they count them and give you cash. perfect. Note: for bottles, they want you to have them in the original 6 or 12 pack containers. read more

Brought in around $40 dollars in cans/bottles and we only received $19.05. Would love to know how they do their math here. Definitely will never be coming here again and I highly suggest no one else does either because you will get screwed!!! read more

I heard about "the place that counts with machines" but never visited. My bottles & cans have…read morealways been processed by a clerk behind a counter or one at a time by the machines at Wegmans. This time I had LOTS so I thought I'd give it a try. This business is unusual in that the business operates out of the building's side entrance. Parking is adequate, especially since the turn over rate here is surprising. I was met at the door by two very friendly employees who explained how this system works. They do everything. Just hand them the bags and stand back. The system operates so quickly that I was just barely able to keep up bringing bags in. The system is totally automated. Once the workers empty the bags into the sorting area everything is automatic. It's really amazing to watch as the bottles and cans are arranged and processed to a conveyor belt that takes them away. Everything is counted by computer. When finished, you're given a ticket that you take to a window where you are paid. Start to finish, 779 bottles and cans were processed in 6 minutes including getting paid I will never go anywhere else again.

You can't miss this place! Located in Depew, it boasts a barn-like facade and a sizeable parking lot. Lots of spaces up front so taking your bottles and cans in is made even easier. Inside, it's eclectically decorated and full of fun knick-knacks, so you'll have plenty to look at while you wait. And the most surprising thing: it is pristinely clean! No nasty smells or gross sights. The employees here are top-notch, too. They are very kind and accommodating -- if you need any help bringing your cans in, they'll give you a hand. And they're super fast-moving as well. I could never keep the numbers straight in my head, so I give them props for being so good at mental math! If you find yourself with a bunch of bottles and cans to trade in for some nice cash, I'd highly suggest coming to Bud's Bottle Barn. You can't beat the service!

You take your cans/bottles, throw them on a counter, someone else counts them and then pays you…read more You don't have to touch sticky, gross cans yourself and you get money so it's pretty awesome. You can donate the money from the cans to charity if you'd like, they have a huge list of them they support (or you can purchase more beer, I won't judge.) Everyone here is helpful and courteous. If they're not too busy, they'll help you carry your stuff from your car to the shop. You're also recycling so you're doing awesome for the planet.
