I have been wanting to try Cannery Creamery for a long time. I live an hour away, so I finally got to the chance to try it. Unfortunately, it was highly disappointing! First of all, it was so confusing trying to figure out where to park. I don't even know if I parked in the right place or not so I just parked across the street. And then when we walked in, they only had six flavors and one Italian ice flavor. When we went to order two Italian ice cups they said they only had enough for one small. The flavors that they had available were really boring so I ended up just getting a vanilla sundae. But they didn't even have any regular toppings like hot fudge or caramel so I opted to get Oreos, chocolate chips, and caramel bits. That was a bad idea. I don't know why they offer chocolate chips and caramel bits because they got hard as a rock. The ice cream tasted very average. This whole experience was so disappointing. It was hard to find the bathrooms, and they still had fall decorations up in January. just because it's January doesn't mean people don't want a good variety of ice cream flavors. Cute and charming little ice cream shop. I really like how they made it farmhouse style and atmosphere was super cute. It's kind of in a weird spot so you have to park across the street. The ice cream was great. They have a wall of pictures of the flavors instead of seeing it through a glass. They also have seasonal flavors which is fun. The service was alright. You could tell it was ran by a bunch of high school kids so it wasn't world class. But they were nice and got the job done. Overall I'd recommend! Plenty of seating and great flavors! read more

2 stars is generous. There wasn't a big selection of flavors, maybe six. But the ice cream they had or at least the two flavors that we chose, blue raspberry and root beer were awful! Both flavors tasted like low-grade artificial flavoring neither the blue raspberry or root beer tasted like raspberry or root beer. And they both had a weird chemical taste. We ordered waffle cones and thought the brown at the top was chocolate or powdered chocolate. Nope, they were burnt around the edges. We took one or two bites of our ice cream, threw them away and left and went to Handle's. I have never, we have never thrown ice cream away! We won't be going back to The Cannery Creamery! I can't do it. I can't honestly give them two stars . I'm going to change it to one star read more

All I can say is wow. We are ice cream lovers and this place takes the cake. It's the first one we've been in Utah so don't have much here to compare it to but each one was delicious and creamy. We did the flights so we got to try 8 flavors. We would tell you our favorite flavors were raspberry brownie and blonde reesees explosion. They were all so flavorful though that we could've taken home quarts of most of them. Would highly recommend this place! They also have a great board that shows you pics and descriptions of all the ice cream flavors! We will be back for sure. read more

The Food: They have interesting flavors of ice cream, all deliciously prepared. I need someone to call me when they have their Black Chocolate Ice Cream available. Seriously the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had. The last visit I got a dark chocolate ice cream with brownie bits. AMAZING! The first time I went I had their Banana Cream Pie shake... it even had little bits of buttery pie crust in the shake, It was heavenly. The Service: Typically Teenagers behind the counter, can be hit or miss, they are happy to answer questions. The Last time I was in they told me they were out of Sugar Cones and I'd have to wait for them to make new ones... no problem there, yes it may melt my ice cream as they served me a fresh warm sugar cone... it was delicious. The Restaurant: The front side where you order kind of reminds me of a college pub, then you move over to the dining area where it's rustic and has some interesting things to inspect on the walls while you wait for your order. Summary: My friends and I found this place during the pandemic when we were looking for things to do, it's since become a staple in our lives. This place is BEYOND cute! The decor is absolutely darling, down to every detail, including an ice cream scoop collection pillar. There is a truck table and a cozy fireplace/couch corner. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The ice cream is absolutely delectable and there are lots of creative flavors. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the waffles AND the waffle cones, were not very tasty. Not a fan. I've heard so many good things but was only able to try a few with our family this trip: Double oreo : Oreo ice cream loaded with oreos. Banana cream pie: banana pie base with flaky pie crust. Chocolate chip cookie dough: brown sugar cookie dough base, tempered chocolate, and cookie dough bits. Cookie Monster: naturally colored brown sugar cookie dough base with ch. chip cookies, oreo cookies, sugar cookies, and ch. chip cookie dough. Whoa! Blonde cow : peanut butter base with Oreos and more pb swirl. 100 Graham: graham cracker base with ch covered honeycomb and graham pieces. FAVORITES: The cookie dough flavor was excellent because of the tempered chocolate ganache that goes in hot and then freezes into chocolate flakes. Excellent concept for the ch.chips! The double Oreo was extra Oreo so the ice cream becomes a little chocolatey (completely acceptable to this #chocoholic). And the blonde cow was a BEAUTY of a peanut butter ice cream! So so yummy. I would only NOT recommend the banana cream pie...the banana was too artificial. (Even my 10 yr old foodie picked it out.) Ok, so this place is DA BOMB. Cute little corner store feel with some amazing and creative flavors. It's a 25 minute drive from my house, but we go as often as we can! I've since started following them on FB and love that they are family owned and involve everyone. If you want a taste of heaven, try the Nutella Cookie Butter Brownie. WOW. It literally is like the finger of God has touched your tongue and blessed thy taste buds. I recently learned that they have "flights" in which you can have small portions of 4 flavors. We went here 2x during our brief stay in Huntsville. The first time we got the Vegan Huckleberry Cookie (very yummy) and the Killing me Smalls (disappointment). Killing me smalls was supposed to be s'mores like with swirls of marshmallow and graham cracker hunks. There was none of this, only chocolate with chocolate chunks. We still loved the variety of flavors and I wanted to give it another try. Second time we got Vegan Mint Chocolate Chip (yummy!) and the Mango Pepper (very yummy). Had a subtle but great mango flavor (mango lassi like) and the pepper hit you in the back of the throat at the end. I really enjoyed it. Also the mint chip was the green kind, which is our preferred route. Loved the ordering online and pulling up curbside to pick up. I felt very good about it. The ice cream flavors were leaning towards dairy more than the additives. Nothing particularly well executed, muted flavors overall. The customer service was not very good, particularly the policy on only providing samples on seasonal flavors. That would be about 6 out of 20. Thanks for reducing my options I guess! I'm going to be honest, I visited and thought what a nice place. However, upon seeing the flavors, I was instantly put-off by the fake coffee flavors that were offered. Between that and the ridiculously high prices, I decided that I didn't want to spend my money here. I am a big fan of the Cannery Creamery. They have a mixture of traditional flavors (cannery chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, mint chip), gourmet flavors (strawberry balsamic, honey lavender, blood orange), and just plain fun flavors (circus animal, banana cream pie, golden horchata). Everyone will find a flavor they are excited to try, and the employees are happy to offer samples of whatever you want to try. I got the banana cream pie and chocolate brownie. Both were delicious, and the color changing spoons made it even more exciting! There were plenty of fun places to eat within the creamery, and the decor was very homey, complete with a fire place and big leather couch! And I can't forget to mention the oldie truck they converted into seating!! I will be back every chance I get. read more

Oh my goodness- we stumbled upon this unique, delicious shop tonight by accident and what a treasure it is! Super uncommon, one of a kind flavors with a quaint, cozy atmosphere. I got a delicious Carmel pecan crunch and coconut snowball in a waffle cone. The Carmel pecan was really rich and flavorful with candied pecans (my fav). The coconut snowball was slightly disappointing- not as much coconut flavor. My husband got the pear berry in a milkshake that was also good- but he says he would just get the ice cream next time (not in a milkshake). I have visited Cannery Creamery twice now and both times, our orders have been messed up. The first time, I ordered inside and ask for our order to-go which was nicely packaged in a brown bag. Trusting that everything was inside the bag, I went home. Upon arrival, we found out that they forgot the $1 waffle cone I had ordered for my husband. Shame on me for not checking before I left. Not a huge deal. The second time we brought my in-laws to visit since we did enjoy the ice cream despite the lack of cone last time. We ordered, I asked for a printed receipt, informed her that I did not want any whipped cream or cherry on my sundae, and told her that this was a to-go order. She confirmed to-go by repeating "to-go, no problem," the no cherry or whipped cream (it was printed on the receipt), I paid, and then we proceeded to wait. I examined the receipt to find that the gal did not change the order from dine in to to-go and she forgot an entire Italian ice order from my MIL. My MIL said it fine, the line was now super long, and that maybe we'd stop by again before they left for her to try it. Sure enough, when our order was ready, it wasn't in to-go containers and there was whipped cream and a cherry on my sundae. I'm not a picky person but I do not like whipped cream or cherries, so this was very discouraging especially since it was printed on my receipt and I can only guess that it was printed on their ticket in the back. Luckily most of our order was in cups, but my FIL ordered a waffle sundae that was recklessly tossed into some plastic containers in front of him. I absolutely love the ice cream here compared to the other places we've tried, and we live by a home with the Cannery Creamery van which encouraged us to try the place, but these mishaps are very discouraging. I'm not even sure ordering online would ensure a complete order. read more

We've had some really good service and ice cream, yet tonight was less than stellar. It was actually disappointing. When you spend $30 on 4 people, you want to feel like you got your money's worth. The waffle cone was undercooked. It was yellow instead of golden brown. The small sundae had a tablespoon of whipped cream compared to the "half cup" that the regular sundaes had. I get that the small sundae is smaller; does that mean you get significantly less whipped cream? They even ran out of ice cream, so one person had to figure something else out. Yes, it was a Saturday evening and it was a treat for the family for ice cream, but after tonight, we will have to give it serious though if it was worth the money. I love that if it's not already in a pint they will do it for you. They did two specialty pints for me to take home. The circus animal is so amazing and matches the flavor of the cookie perfectly. The chocolate dipped strawberry is made with real strawberries and you can tell. It tastes exactly like a chocolate dipped strawberry. I liked the peanut butter but it wasn't my favorite. I grew up going to Country Boy Dairy for Ice cream with my family. So I was very excited to have a cute local ice cream place open. I've now been several times. It seemed like they had some areas of opportunity when they first opened but went back a week later and I was really impressed on how they had tweaked some things to make their service quicker. The ice cream is out of this world! I love that flavors rotate and there is always something new to try! My favorite is chickory chip, it's not a coffee based ice cream but has a slight coffee taste. My kids love the Cookie Monster which will leave your whole mouth blue! And I've had circus animal ice cream before but there's is the best.
