I drove completely out of my way to come here to enjoy a pastrami burger, except they were completely out of pastrami. I was not bummed for very long because the waitress who served me, Cecily, was the only decent person that I met in Ogden. She even brought my dog a treat. This is a nice small old fashion drive in diner complete with car hops. Look at the menu, decide what you want, then press the button. A car hop shows up and takes your order. This time I ordered the pastrami burger and my wife ordered their fish and chips. My burger was loaded with sliced pastrami and was very good. The burgers are Hal pound so very filling. My wife enjoyed her fish and really liked the fries. We will be going back often. read more

Decent food, not notable but I didn't hate it. The fries weren't cold but they were not warm. My Burger did not have a lot of flavor. The big reason I am giving a one star is the 40+ minute wait. i love kirts but every single time me and my wife eat here they make food wrong and we remind and asked them nicely to make sure it is not wrong. It's been a few years since I have checked in on Kirt's and happy to report they are still going strong and doing what they do. The nostalgia of a drive-in is what brings you here. Very simple menu with 8-10 burger options, a fish basket, chicken strips, and a list of shakes you can order. The specialty burgers aren't that special and are the bleu bacon, cowboy, pastrami, etc, varieties. Personally I will stick with the bacon cheeseburger because the specialties just aren't that great. Fries are okay, not crispy and nothing too fancy. The onion rings, however, are where it is AT! Excellent onion rings. Kirt's is close, it is nice to order / eat in your car, and it has some nostalgia credit. You won't get the best meal of your life but it will be good. read more

I love kirks hamburgers. They are delicious, but it is quite expensive. 12 dollars for meal should include a free fry sauce. They don't give you a ton of fries either. You have to pay 50 cents to get the fry sauce or no sauce at all. It's actually keeping me from coming back. read more

We decided to stop in here because it's been years since either my wife and I had been here. The menu is small which is kind of nice and I do like you do not even need to get out of the car to order or to eat. My wife ordered the bleu burger and I went with the pastrami burger meal. I did the regular fries and a lime Ricky. I asked if the onions on the burger were raw or grilled and the lady said they were grilled, they are raw and I'm not sure if you have to ask for grilled ones. Luckily when I opened my burger for inspection all the onions fell out. Good for me because I'm not a fan of raw onions. The burgers were a bit small for the bun size so the edges were a bit dry. The burger patties themselves were good I thought and were good well. The pastrami was lacking though. I'd just order a cheese burger next time and skip the extra money you pay for the other burgers. The fries were not crispy but it could be because we ate at home. Overall Kirt's is a good place to go to grab a burger but stick to the basics when ordering. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. We ordered our food and had to repeat our order no less than 5 times to the waitress. She then took our payment (card) and it took 15+ minutes to get it back. We then waited 30 minutes for our food and it was all wrong and cold. We asked for a manager and she said they'd remake our burgers and reheat our fries. We at this time asked for a refunds which was granted. However they couldn't figure out how to refund on the card and handed us cash. Today was the first time we have gone in two years solely because we didn't have a good experience last time. We went to get a glacier and their machine was out so we decided to just grab dinner there. I had the fish and chips and they were beyond way too greasy. My husband had the bacon burger and it was inedible, way too salty. Kirt's is kinda nostalgic to me as my grandparents lived up the street so I was excited to stop for a quick lunch time bite. I pulled up and used the 1980 call button to order. Memories. The waitress on the other end of the call button answered me. I ordered three hamburgers, one cheeseburger an order of fries, onion rings and a soft drink. This was very confusing and there were many long pauses. I did appreciate that she took the time to read back my order to ensure its correctness. We waited for what seemed like a long time for that order.... The waitress came to the car window with our items and walked back with my card for payment. When she came back she handed me my straw slowly through the window and said, "Here's your straw. It fell on the ground." Fortunately it was wrapped..... We took the burgers to our friends. Which is maybe 3 miles away at the most. Pulled the burgers from their bag. They were cold, and kinda smashed. No toppings but lettuce and fry sauce. The fries/onion rings were tasty but also cold.... I wouldn't think everything would get cold upon transport. But ‍ Two stars for memory sake and a waitress who was sure I got my straw. ***UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP*** Husband and I went to Kirts because we haven't been there since we moved a year ago. We immediately noticed things were different. They come up to you immediately and take your order, so you don't get to use the buzzer speaker (best part about the old Kirts). I'm not docking it because of that, but because our order was wrong. My husband always orders the #2 the bacon burger and he got a double cheeseburger instead. Our drinks were full of pure ice instead of drink and my husbands drink was sticky and had dripping Coke on the side with the lid not put on all the way. The food is good, the car service is quaint, and the cost is decent. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it's a little pricey for the size of burger you get. It's about the same size as the chain burger stores, but more money. You get the quality and the care, but you expect more when you're spending your money. Our family just moved to a North Ogden. We are always looking for a new place to eat. My daughter and I stopped here yesterday for lunch. I got a foot long hotdog and fries... my daughter got the chicken tenders. It was delicious! The hot dog bun was toasted and so good! Tonight my husband wanted to try it. Kirt's Family Drive Inn has been serving up hamburgers, fries and shakes for MANY years. Although it hasn't always been known as Kirt's, this old fashioned diner has been around since the 1950s. They have drive-up lanes out front and a small indoor seating area as well. There's lots of neon outside the building and with the carhops running back and forth to the cars it has a great nostalgic feel. But how was the food? It was pretty good actually. My bacon cheeseburger was well prepared and tasted great. My mom had some good fish and chips. Unfortunately the fries weren't very good, but maybe they weren't fresh... I'm not sure. After about 10 minutes of no service I went up to the service window only to be told to go sit back down and someone would be out soon. Sat for about 10 after that before leaving.
