I do not recommend this recycling center. I came in with 6-7…read moregarbage bags of crushed up bottles (crushed so that I could fit more in a bag) and only got around 18$. I recycle very often (since I was 8) and I know that about each garbage bag fetches me about 4$. I was shorted more than a 1$ per bag. Each trip with the same amount of bags usually gives me minimum 25$. Of course, it's very easy to scam a younger looking girl so I'll give them that. The good and unique aspect here is that the owner replies through text in case you have any questions. I'll give you a star for that. To be honest, there are a lot of places who aren't very honest. If you are still deciding to pick this place or not, thinking about this kept me up at night since I'm still kinda mad about it. I have never felt so scammed before in my life lol I highly recommend sunset recycling. Bit of a drive but worth the extra couple of miles (dollar of gas from 25 mpg) to gain several more dollars. And a peace of mind. I'll keep looking around for another good one.

For about 7 years I have been coming here dropping off copper, usually best price hands down…read more Today was not one of those days, the boys working the line are incompetent, copper heat exchangers same ones I have been turning in for 7 years they decided today they were bronze and robbed me of several 100 dollars, their response.... You can pack it all back up.... Its was nearly 1000lb of copper they decided wasn't copper and knew I wouldn't want to load that all back up. Unreal criminal crooks. They are copper heat exchangers all day every day from pool heaters not bronze or brass or whatever else they wanna call it that day. Only reason they get 2 stars is they have a good track record but not today. Hopefully this is one bad day..... w one idiot working and they re train him properly. I'll try once more once I get another large load. I've sent countless coworkers here for copper recycling won't be doing that anymore. Shady business today shady business

I'd heard about this place from a friend of mine that thought it was pretty decent however, when I…read moregot there, I was very very disappointed. I had some recycles that contain alcohol in them. The manager or coworker somebody that worked there told me to separate my items after I brought them all in and I explain to him that I couldn't touch the cans and recycles and Glass because some of the bottles contained alcohol at one point and I'm allergic. If any kind of alcohol touches my hands I get major blisters, and my skin starts to peel on my hands. It's very contagious and very painful. The employee did not care and even claiming he called his appears on me after he talked to the person on the phone. I did get my way and he did separate my items. I don't understand even though these guys, I'm sure there's an LA wage they make the person who brought them the items do all the work. Not fair would not recommend this place at all after all my trouble. I only got a few bucks from the whole experience. Don't waste your time find somewhere else. It's my recommendation even though I got my way in the end I would never ever go there again. They were very rude and non-polite.
