Hate to give my home town shop a negative review. But between the experience and the way my tattoo came out and how it was handled was very unprofessional. I'd take a photo of the work but pretty embarrassed of how it looks unfortunately permanent until I cover it up. When I discussed this with the "owner" and asked if they can touch it up and make the lines not look crooked. I asked if by chance I can have another artist do the work since I wasn't pleased with her work. He said he would look into it lol I'm guessing he didn't look far because that was the beginning of April. If you look on my profile the only other bad review I have given was to Larry's marine services. But I even touched base 2 months later and no response so I think this review is kinda deserved. I definitely would not recommend any of my friends to go through the process I have received. Their are a ton of shops that care about their clients this is not one of them! read more

I was very dissapointed in my experience with both CanvASS Tattoo and Will(Artist). I was referred to Canvas by a neighbor however I had a strange feeling following my consultation. I met with Will and explained this first time tattoo project to pay respect to my late father-n-law and Son who both serve(d) in the U.S. Navy. Will said he would work on a draft of the tattoo for me to look at however he preferred doing the art on the clock. The receptionist was pretty rude however she gladly accepted my mandatory $150.00 down payment. In fine print it states no refunds on down payments. Covid-19 hits and they get shut down by Gov. orders. Many people lost their jobs during COVID and the Civil Unrest that followed. Their Facebook page explained they would be reaching out to cancel reservations(Never Happened). When they re-opened a week ago they explained they would be reaching out to reschedule reservations(Never Happened). I reach out to Canvas Tattoo and they say reach out to the artist directly. I do this and Will says he won't be coming back because of his concerns with COVID and the Civil unrest but is o.k. with placing me in harm by coming back today to get a refund at the store. I come into the store and he is there(To my surprise) and comes out screaming at me. I ask him if he wants to go outside and discuss it(Uncomfortable inside) and he asks me if I am threatening him. I say no and am there to collect my refund. They do something on the register and I leave with a few more awkward exchanges. I then look on their FB page and they twist this thing all around and they are now playing victim. Gimmee a break! I do not recommend these people or this establishment, I believe everything happens for a reason and this was not meant to be! I now have a good reference for a shop in Burnsville that I will get my work done at. I am hopeful that I NEVER have another experience like this again and hope that no-one else does either. read more
