i am a current 7th grader here at OMS and this is coming from a 13 year old kids perspective. I…read moredon't recommend this school whatsoever. Firstly, the hallways are crammed and very claustrophobic. Mind you there are 840 kids in the school. And the hallways don't have a very big capacity. Second, you need the teachers to sign your planner to go to the bathroom? It makes no sense because going to the bathroom is a basic human necessity. Then the locker rooms for P.E are genuinely ridiculous. It is very very very crammed and whenever you get dressed and 8th graders harass you and they act very weird to you. And if you think getting dressed in the bathroom is gonna save you. You're wrong because kids literally crawl under the stalls. Also this school has one of the worst kids I have ever seen because they literally are all so mean and racis. All of the white kids just blatantly say the n word and there is no discipline for them. Also, another thing to mention is that k9's get sent to this school every 2 weeks because the kids here vape and take drugs. Also tons of physical fights in this school. I do not recommend and most of the staff here are very very weird.

The school stinks there's 6 graders sell weed ,edibles , drugs , and smoke in the bathroom…read more Kids bully each other a student made a threat and no discipline was made the food is only good on Fridays. Teachers don't grade work or do extra credit. Teachers are rude and have bad breath . I do not recommend

Honestly, this day care deserved a negative zero in my opinion. I read the poor reviews of this…read moreplace but decided to still proceed and enroll my child. BIG mistake, my son was abused by older children and then the blame was placed on him. After informing them that I was going to be removing my child, they let another older child beat him and then suspended my child. If that wasn;t enough, they went as far as to bad mouth him to other child care providers and write the final report that he was thrown out because of violent behavior. The amazing part is how they lie to protect themselves. Too bad for them as I have lawyered up against this child care and hope they get closed. Be aware and trust the negative reviews about this horrible place.

If I could give negative stars I would. First impressions are everything. I would NOT recommend…read morethis daycare/preschool. My husband and I popped in to take a tour and get some info for when our three month old daughter will be needing daycare. We could not run out of this place fast enough. We walk in and the very First Lady we see seemed confused when we said we wanted info and to take a tour. She then motioned us through an open door to follow her and said "this door should be closed but I'm the only one here so it isn't." STRIKE ONE. Breaking rules and being alone? Doesn't look good. So we go through this door to the infant room. She walks us in and says "this is it. We shouldn't have shoes on in here but it doesn't matter much you know." STRIKE TWO. Yes, it does. Little ones crawl on this floor. STRIKE THREE was we saw one poor woman in this room with six children all under a year, two of them were screaming crying the others were strapped into seats or walkers. STRIKE FOUR was when the woman giving us what she called a tour said "the teacher tries to do art sometimes but you know...they don't do much" which I took as... they're babies. Why do art because they just lie around. Seriously? We had heard enough. No wonder there isn't a waiting list to get into this place. Thankfully we had visited another daycare about an hour before that and it was COMPLETELY different and opposite from this terrible experience.

We are so grateful and thankful for all of the wonderful teachers and staff at Bright Beginnings…read more This has been the best two years my son has had. This school is the most amazing, creative school with seriously the most caring, down to earth, dedicated, passionate, talented and kind teachers/staff that make it the best school/community there is for Early Learning and VPK in Ft. Myers...hands down! It's not "just a school", it's a unique community and you'll feel like you're part of a family. Everyone there-staff, teachers, and the parents are so kind and sweet, and everyone goes out of their way to make the school just keep getting better and updated by hosting fun events with the kids to raise money, or to have a charity event. Everyone helps each other out however they can. I feel so blessed My son got to go there and I am lucky enough to have seen him start at 3 years old and grow into the kind sweet boy he is today with the help of so many amazing woman there-it takes a village to raise a child. I never once worried about him, and that in and of itself says it all. Also to have been able to go to some of the most creative, beautiful and fun events I've ever been to! Kuddos to everyone at Bright Beginnings Early School and especially to the director of the school Samantha and also Mary for doing all the dirty work behind the scenes and making it look so easy... and for always having a smile on their face every morning and greeting the kids by name as they walk in to make them feel special You can see the love you have for the students and passion for the school. And let's not forget to mention, all of the wonderful teachers who show up every single day and not only teach our kids but go above and beyond! They've shown/taught our children compassion, kindness, what it means to be a good friend, how to behave/treat their classmates and adults , and most importantly about God and Jesus, and what it is to be a good human being in this crazy world...because that is one of the most important things to learn. I highly recommend sending your child or children to this school, as I promise you, you will be more than just satisfied and your child will absolutely love it there..they will learn so much, and in a creative way. There is always something fun going on whether it's the everyday stuff such as the playground, splash pad, play time while also learning things without even realizing it! And then there's always something such as special crafts, events for the parents to get to know each other, Dad's night out, Mom's night out, celebrations during holidays, concerts, charity events, etc. I could go on forever! You will also be amazed at how much they will learn, learn, because their level and expectations of teaching is very high and they do it in a fun way for the kids! But bottom line, if you're looking for an early school for your child this IS THE ONE!
