It's a pity that you rarely find these type of places... the type that seems as if making money is an afterthought because of the love of what they do. If you're into trains then this place is absolutely for you. They sell other types models of "traditional" models other than trains but they don't carry them in stock and require ordering.

It was still in the box with the factory seal and they wouldn't refund my money. They have a lot of cool stuff there but their customer service sucks and I won't be going back. They aren't the only hobby shop around and lost my business and I won't recommend them to anyone anymore.

There are a few chain-store type hobby shops around but these are more focused on toys rather than more durable hobby related items. JT'S can order just about anything you might need and are extremely supportive of the local community. I'm thankful there is a great hobby shop so close by run by people who are active in sport of modeling.

They would NOT honor the typed & posted price! It's the principle of the matter! It's false advertising for one thing! They should've honored the price posted! They refused & caused a scene & changed the price to $10 just before we left. They tried to tell me that the car price was mis marked. But there was an entire box of those little plastic trucks and the box had a price of eight dollars on it for all those trucks. As I was trying to argue with them they decided to change the price to $10. That's very rude and it's the principle of matter. A good business does not do that, they honor the price that's posted. They then fix it for next time but they want customers to come back so they should make the customer happy.
