For my first appointment, actually even before that, I had a consultation first where she assessed my hair and we discussed what I wanted and what could be done to it. I wanted a balayage situation with purple, but my hair is almost black so it would need to be lightened... gradually because my hair is damaged/thin so she wanted to be careful. My return appointment was an entire day affair thanks to the color lifting. The purple was amazing, however once I got home, I realized it didn't take in the back and there were some orange-y spots so I called the salon. Jessica spoke to me and insisted that I come back so that she could fix it. And I was there for another two hours at no charge. Ultimately there was a small bit of hair that did not take the dye and sometimes that's going to be the case. I still loved the results and literally got compliments wherever I went. I didn't even need touching up but I went back yesterday after four months and I don't know what she did differently but this color is a gorgeous, rich dark brown with slight purple highlights. And I am in love with my haircut, too (slight shaping and trim goes such a long way). The general salon and waiting area was a bit too loud for my daughter but when she went to get her hair washed, we noticed a "Quiet waiting area"!! I love this fact, especially for my child who is autistic. My daughter loved the hair massage as her hair was prepped for cutting. In a few mins two ladies in bathrobes joined us in the sitting area to wait for their service too. It was a bit weird that they do not have second area for clients that are changed into bathrobes and in between services to wait in privacy. I booked 60min massage and my technician was Emmy. She was very good, professional and always checking if pressure was right! I would definitely go back to see her. She listened to what I said and which area I would like her to focus on and I think I got one of the best foot massages so far.
