It's proper the most local of the local ones in Henley-in-Arden, but from the first drink asked to the information given me about the toilet. I felt a really welcoming reception in this pub! To be honest, there is a quite vibrant vibe in this pub that probably made this place a bit more popular than the other ones. jacket union flags, young and really educated staff and some locals enjoying football on the big screen. This seems to be a very good sports bar with a plus: the building is absolutely fantastic. The pub was recently refurbished but the real structures of this medieval construction. They serve a range of real ales as well and the price is quite cheap compared to the other pubs visited in this high street. Beer garden and karaoke are also other attractions of this very spacious and pleasant pub!

The adjoining restaurant serves tasty food in sensible portions with a changing specials board. One small quibble would be that it would be lovely if they included more side vegetable choices. Overall a very welcoming pub if you just want a pint or watch footy on the big screen. A real fire makes it cosy in the winter. Highly recommended.

Its quite old fashioned décor inside but it just feels warm and cosy and really hospitable. I have attended over a dozen times for Sunday dinners and also a couple of times in the week, and they do some great meals, very high quality of food and really really yummy. The average price I would say is approx 15-20 pound for a three course meal and is defiantly worth it. I would recommend the Sunday lunch as its great really homecooking type feel to it. In the week though I would recommend the rack of lamb which literally melts in your mouth and the toffee and pecan pie which is naughty but so so so good!!! I have attended some weddings there also which were great, the food was brilliant and wine etc etcthe only thing was is the restaurant is not air conditioned and it was inbearable inside, it was so incredibly hot, the staff were great and put about ten fans all around the room but this is not ideal to be honest. But apart from that its really good.

I stopped there with my parents on Tuesday 16 March and we had a great welcome from the landlord, who remembered them from a previous visit, and a delicious lunch. I was driving otherwise would definitely have sampled one of the real ales on draught. My parents had their favourite draught cider. Now to lunch - we opted for two courses which are great value for money at 6.95.The home-cooked food was delicious, especially the fish and chips, and the portions not too heavy. We will definitely continue to eat at this pub whenever we are nearby.
