Update: My Gel X is already coming apart after 2.5 weeks on 4 finger nails. I was hoping all nails would hold on for another week or so. I also got a reaction the first week but didn't think anything of it. There was gel attached to my skin underneath the gel x nail, on 2 nails. My thumb and index finger. I didn't think it would be a big deal since it's my first time getting nails like this done. I resulted with contact dermatitis (a rash) on my arms and wrist. I have reactive/sensitive skin. As much as I love the design and how nice the people were. I will not be coming back. I may be allergic to the Gel X Cat nails use & the retention does not last long. Thank you read more

Update: I came back to The Cat Nails & Spa after two years, and I'm so glad I did! The salon is still as welcoming and clean as I remember, and the service is top tier. Service requested was given, but was quite aggressive when it came to filing my nails and using the machine to remove the old, I asked if she could be more gentle on the finger that was hurting because she filed so quickly it got hot with no response, acrylic flies into my face and into her hair and she continues to file, it also smelled of urine when sitting on the side where the air conditioning is maybe it's the filter or bathroom all the way at the front. And lastly, I noticed how everyone else was asked if they wanted a massage and I was not they were also very considerate a gentle with everyone else accept me. So yeah pretty interesting place. My girlfriend got her nails done here and I have never seen a worse put together nail salon. Their customer service following up with the issues was awful in addition to a poor quality when putting the nails on. These nails lasted at most a day and they looked terrible right as they were put on. Did not fit to the size of nail and the quality was similar to a brittle. read more

I had high hopes for the cat spa especially after seeing the reviews. Made an appointment and went in for a gel manicure. I was immediately seated, which I appreciated. The nail tech who did my nails was fairly new but I didn't think much of it. You can tell from the pic, my middle nail is a coat darker than the rest. I wanted them all to be that dark, but that's my fault, I should've spoken up. You can also see a chip on my index finger and this was the day after my appointment... Overall, the paint application is not consistent. They do give you an arm and neck massage after the manicure which I enjoyed. I try not to leave bad reviews, but will make an exception here. I have pretty healthy, natural nails and seldom ever have a break after 5+ years of dips. I tried Cat and was surprised they filed my old dip off instead of using acetone. This weakens the natural nail. They also do not use a base coat. The next morning, one of my nails snapped in half. Two days later, another snapped in half. They actually charged me to glue my natural nail back together. read more

Went in for a manicure yesterday and some of the nail polish started peeling off, so I went in today and asked for them to redo a couple of the nails. They were super great and redid them immediately and they look fantastic! I have never left a yep review and I have to for this place because it is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I have been getting gel x for year and never had worse quality. When getting them done I noticed they were using cheap nails, did not match each nail to every finger and did not let them cure enough under the light. After the first day my nails were cracking down the middle, I came back to get it fixed. And then over the next week more kept cracking and falling off. I came back to get them removed finally after 2 weeks from initially getting them done because my nails just looked so horrible and it was the first time I had off work to be able to come back to the salon. I told them what happened and they still made me pay to get them removed. I've never experience such poor service and poor quality nails. DO NOT COME HERE FOR GEL X read more
