They were able to fit my partner & I in on a busy Easter Saturday. They have had more updates since I was in about a year ago. New televisions facing pedicure stations. Fun vibrant nail art on the walls that's tasteful and bright. More staff. I got the Supreme Pedicure. Pictures attached and yes - I felt like an absolute princess. My tech was kind, gentle and genuine. She made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She laughed with us during the tickle toe part - which added to the experience. I'm so relaxed that I end up dozing off. When I awake, I am greeted with a mimosa! (My partner ordered it for me) The pedicure itself was super soothing and had a menthol like feeling when applying the mask. After a hard month, I left feeling so much better. What ended as a 4 star review quickly became a 5 star review. I walked in for a deluxe pedicure and they fit me right in. They offer complimentary drinks which is always a perk. The pedicure as a whole was AMAZING. I feel like so many nail places in downtown Seattle do not have great pedicure service, but this location did. My toes felt like new by the time they were done. While I stayed for about 30 minutes my toenails did not dry properly which I did not notice how bad they had smeared until I got home. I contemplated calling to try and get the polish fixed because the service had been great and that was ultimately the 4 star experience. I decided to call and ask if I could fix the polish because it seemed like it was not drying whatsoever. Sure enough they asked me to come back so they could fix it. When I walked in they instantly sat me in the chair and instead of trying to fix they decided to completely repaint all of them and go through the process slower to make sure I walked out with perfectly polished nails - all with no fuss. I ultimately recommend this place and will definitely be coming back. They also have an online point system so you can get free or discounted services after so many services. They take reservations as well which is always nice! read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now so I had to come leave a good review. Queen Anne Nails & Spa is a very reliable, clean, relaxing place. It's a cute clean environment, somewhat large for a nail salon with, with about 7 nice new comfy pedicure massage chairs, etc. They offer you a drink when you sit down. There are tons of polish types and colors to choose from. They have traditional polish, shellac, dipping powder, etc. they have all sorts of special polishes like glitters, chromes, etc. I only get my toes done here so I can't speak to their acrylics but I always see people coming in for fills. For pedis they have a variety of options starting at $40 which is pretty reasonable for this area. The staff is super nice. They've always done a great job on my toes. They have a point system for return customers that you register for with your phone number. I would absolutely reccomend this place! read more

I only had a short time to get my nails done before my cruise departed. I'm glad that I spent it here. I had my fingernails and toenails gelled and they turned out perfectly! On the rare occasion when I've needed to get my nails done elsewhere due to travel or other circumstance, Queen Anne has continued to be my benchmark for quality and value. Absolutely amazing pedicures - seriously best ever. However, I've gotten shellac manicures here twice, and both times they were awful. Polish all over my skin - not just a little, like on one finger, but truly all over the place. There is no way they didn't notice, but the first tech I had was just going to leave it like that until I asked if she could fix it. She tried to file it off (my skin!) and then gave up. The 2nd time wasn't quite as bad, but that's not saying much. I had different techs both times, so it's not just one person giving sloppy manicures. Neither manicure lasted a week before starting to peel up from the cuticle. It's just weird given how high quality the pedicures are. It's always very clean and spa chairs are comfortable. They offer you tea or water, which I appreciate. Last time I was there, it was dead quiet except for the woman in the chair next to me carrying on an extremely personal-sounding phone call at full volume. I thought someone might suggest she take her call outside and come back in when she's done, but they just let her continue cussing up a storm about her friend's recent breakup or whatever. It was not a particularly relaxing vibe, so I didn't even bother waiting for my toes to dry and just got out of there. Next time I'll bring earbuds. This place has a great location but my appointment started 30mins after it was scheduled, the manicurist was rushed bc there was another person scheduled the same time as me, and the manicure was terribly bad, bad, bad. I wish I had taken a picture. I asked for a French manicure and they started by painting half my nails white and then scrubbing off tiny parts so the lines were super thick. I was in a rush and didn't have time to fix it so I just figured I would have thick thick thick white lines. I got this in preparation for an important event, 4 days in advance of my best friend's wedding. I've been here 3x with an appointment and have had to wait 15+ minutes each time. Today I left the salon 30 minutes after still not being seen for my scheduled appointment (acrylic fill). I was barely acknowledged when I arrived and was eventually directed to sit in a salon chair and waited another 15 minutes. I have a private nail tech who has her own studio and only go to a traditional nail salon on the rare occasion that I've forgotten to schedule an appointment in advance. I regret going to these regular salons almost every time as they are drastically lacking-Queen Anne Nails & Spa is not worth it if you want basic considerations and quality. read more

I've been to this place twice now. The first time was great, two younger people did my pedicure and manicure. Great, no problem. The only thing that put me off was that it wasn't very relaxing bc the women were talking so loud across the salon, and in my ear. The second time I went for just a pedicure and this older woman was so rough. She literally scrubbed my shins with that salt scrub for 5 mins each, I told her it was a little much but she just continued, less in the other leg. Fast forward a couple of days, my shins are raw. It looks like I got road rash. Little red itchy dots. I have an appointment tomorrow for a doctors appointment bc I'm nervous it's some kind of bacteria fungus she gave me. I will not be back, and if it is a bacteria and fungus I will report to the health board. Never in my life has this happened to me. I knew she was just too much. Beware. read more

I had thought I found my new go to nail salon. People were friendly and the place is very bright, clean and they didn't seem to overbook and had lots of ventilation keeping the doors open and fans on. Then I had the issues of nails constantly coming off early with my 2 acrylic sets or snapping after they filed my natural nails down to nothing with the Dremel tool. They had recommended dip for my nails and said it would be healthier. I was all for it but $80 dollars later I have a useless manicure. 3 of the extensions came off within 5 days! Then also sat someone right next to me with covid going on when there was 4 other stations empty. It also took a long time to have this done and it didn't last more than 5 days. Also the color didn't turn out great and the chrome had huge black flecks coming through and unpainted sides and when I pointed it out after they were done they tried to tell me they were freckles on the nails?? They did offer to redo the color which I appreciate but I couldn't make it because of medical appts. My big issue is how quickly it fell apart. Overall just really sad with how little nail glue was applied to the extensions and the poor paint job on the nails. My other sets were great except how little time they last. The pedicures are great though. I just can't afford to go twice as often for something that should last twice as long. read more

I went in for an acrylic fill with gel and my nail artist Sa killed it! They are super smooth and not thick by any means! Update: I went in to get my nails removed because the gel started chipping after two weeks. When they removed them I saw my nail is infected and they wanted to charge more than was on the board to get the nails removed. I don't recommend. read more

The quality here has really gone down since I first went there a few years ago. I used to really like them, and the environment was nice and people were friendly, but now it's kinda dark and quiet, and the people barely speak to you at all. I went in a week ago and I was very displeased with the outcome. I won't be going back. The pedicure was very rushed, I was not offered any other services (paraffin wax, scrub, anything) or asked what kind of pedicure I wanted, and I still have callouses on my feet because the callous scrub was literally 2 minutes for both feet together. I also asked for a full set of acrylic nails and the girl that did them took literally 2 hours to do them, didn't trim back my cuticles, so now the nails already look very grown out (see photos) and are chipping. I've been getting nails done for the better part of a decade and I've never seen anyone apply acrylic like she did. She started from bottom of the nail to top, bit then she kept building it up from side to side across the nails. This resulted in thickness at the side that pulled at my skin and now i have painful hangnails on many of my nails. Finally, she filed one of my nails very obviously crooked and did not bother to fix it until I asked her to. I paid $100 for both of these services. Absolute waste of money and three hours of my time. I can't wait to go somewhere else and get them redone. read more

Like another reviewer said - don't be deceived by the outside. I was in the area w/ time to kill before my flight so looked up a place to fix my chipped nails. The outside was unassuming but the interior was clean and modern. My nail tech was very nice and we had a great chat while she worked her magic on my dry cuticles. They have this lotion glove they put on you instead of the usual heated lotion dish. She did amazing w/ the nail shaping as well the polish application. Reasonable pricing - $15 for my mani. Not only did they make a mistake with my nails. The appointment was already running 20 minutes longer than expected. So we agreed that I would come back later for the correction. Despite it being their mistake they charged me for my incomplete nails and when I came back 30 minutes before they closed today they seemed unwilling to fit me in to correct their mistake. Terrible customer service and they charged me $50 earlier which I wrongly thought would just get applied to the correction this evening. To add insult to injury, they also wasted about 2 hours of my time between booking in person on Tuesday, my incomplete appointment today and then returning this evening up for a correction that never happened. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED AND THEY HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Look at the picture, my nails look terrible and obviously incomplete. It took a little under an hour and included foot scrubs, hot stones, hot towels, and lotion. The nails came out great! My only issue is that the hot stones were unexpected and initially they were too hot. They also spent so long doing the foot scrub that I was hoping I'd have skin on my legs left when they were done! But honestly this was my first time getting a pedicure in a long time so maybe my feet looked like they needed it ? Overall a good experience anyway. I'm torn between giving this place 2 or 3 stars. I've been here twice. For my first appointment I had a Delux Pedicure and full set of acrylics with Shellac added to both, I was charged $117 ($157 after tip) and it went alright. Although for the price of the delux pedicure, it felt rushed and service providers made me feel like it was an inconvenience. The second visit (about a week and half later) was for a fill and a delux pedicure with Shellac added to both also, for which I was charged $95 ($135 after tip), was a slightly worse experience than the first and took twice as long. What I did like: 1. Their salon is really nice. I've only seen pictures of the old salon, but the newly renovated space is really pretty. 2. They use plastic coverings in in their pedicure bowls to keep them sanitary (although they did remove it halfway through my second pedicure). 3. They have a lot of good color choices (they offer regular polish, shellac, and dip). What I didn't like (other than feeling like an inconvenience): 1. Typically a new set of acrylics lasts me 3 weeks, I only got half the time before 2 nails broke. When I went in for a fill (a week and a half prior to my usual timing), I was charged for a nail fix for both nails that popped off. NEVER in my life have I been to a nail salon that charges a nail fix during a fill, especially if it's before 2 weeks after your last appointment. 2. I was charged for a Shellac removal on my toes on my second appointment. Now at every other place I have been before, this is usually included with the Shellac add-on price, but they may do it differently. What I didn't like about it though was that all the woman did was put cuticle remover on my toes (which is a step in any basic pedicure) and use a cuticle nipper to peel off the Shellac instead of the proper soak-off method that is recommended by most gel polish manufacturers. 3. My fill looks super clunky and thick, nail tips are not straight, and ONE week later nails are starting to pop off already even though I got my nails shorter. Now I don't mind paying the extra charges, but I do believe they should give service that is worth what they are charging and should make it clear on their website or even during the appointment what additional charges they make, not after the service is over. read more

Unfortunately, my dip manicure chipped within 24 hours. The top coat also started yellowing over my cute pink color and looks dingy. I'm disappointed in the quality and would not recommend dip service. I came into the salon with gel/shellac on my toes and nails. For my pedicure, the woman used the cuticle trimmer to peel off the gel, which other nail techs have scolded me for doing! It apparently ruins the top layers of the nail! For removal of my finger nails, I'm pretty sure they used alcohol rather than acetone because after 15 min of soaking, nothing happened to the gel... but my skin was so so dry! They still had to use the filing machine to remove the gel. read more

Not the best first impression for a new nail spot. The place is cute and the location is great for living in Queen Anne. However, the staff was somewhat rude and, most importantly, they were unbelievably overbooked. Myself and two friends came for a 4:30 appointment for one regular pedicure, one acrylic fill with gel, and one manicure/pedicure with gel. Granted, we did get there at 4:34, so I would expect a little bit of a pushback. However, my two friends waited about 25 minutes for their pedicures to begin - starting at 5 pm. Their water was cold but the pedicures were nice and they enjoyed them. My experience, on the other hand, was much less enjoyable. My service did not begin until 5:58, almost 1.5 hours after my scheduled appointment. During that time, they helped FIVE people with appointments later than mine before starting on my nails. Had I not been waiting for my friends to finish their appointments, I would have left. My technician also did not seem to care about doing my nails after the wait as my cuticles are a mess, the skin color typical for French tips is basically clear, and there's pink polish all over my fingers. Overall, we were there for two hours and forty-five minutes. I absolutely will not be returning. Being made to wait over an hour for your service to begin is unacceptable, especially when staff don't communicate about the wait at all. I do not recommend this salon in the slightest and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Also, one of the ladies was walking around barefoot? All around not ideal. read more
