Do not let that man touch your nails. Absolutely butchered my natural nails. Ripped them apart, then acrylics were thick and wicked crooked. He couldn't do anything but a single color coat, ended up fixing them myself at home. Also shared nail buffers, files, etc. between clients. Did have autoclaved metals, but everything else was used on more than one person for who knows how long. read more

This was the third salon I've tried in the neighborhood, the other two not that great. I am so happy I finally tried Golden Nail. I got the luxury pedicure ($50) and it truly was. They went above and beyond my expectations, even letting me know to wait a few minutes before putting on a second top coat. Checking to see if polish was dry every few minutes and then carefully putting on my sandals when she decided it was safe. This place is terrific. Prices are reasonable, and the salon is clean though a little cluttered with their exuberant decorating style. I had been using another nail place previously, but their prices had gone up (and service didn't match) and parking was frequently a challenge. I started going through the places on Lower QA and took a chance on Golden Nail. I will not go anywhere else, from this point forward. As I mentioned, prices are great and they don't rush through your service, even when people are waiting. I hate giving negative reviews but there's just no way I could ignore this. The positives: they take walk-ins and they were pretty friendly. That's where it ends. The negatives: the lady I got filed my nails to the point that they started bleeding. She had to stop more than once to pat down blood. I should have left then. I came in to get my nails done with a very simple flower design in mind (sandy liang five-petal flower). First, my nail tech would not let me choose the colors I wanted after I asked multiple times because she said it would not show up (low contrast) but my friend did those same colors with her nail tech and it looked great. Second, the nail art is very sloppy and not at all what I wanted. She did mention that she can't make it the exact same as the picture (even though it was a very basic design) but that was fine since all I needed was a simple flower. If you see the pictures, she literally just made five messy dots and didn't even connect them. She also seemed irritated whenever I asked to change anything. It was very frustrating that she couldn't do any part of the simple design correctly. My friend came in at the same time and her nail tech was better but also a little sloppy. I picked this place specifically for the nail art and I mentioned that when I made this appointment. If you're going for any kind of design, I would not recommend as the result was low quality and the service was not good. read more

I'm so over the fact that I made an appointment for 5:30pm today and they seemed "too busy to take me". I waited for 20 minutes after my appointment start time and eventually left. My sister and I came to Seattle on a week long vacation and we were both way overdue for mani pedis. We had read Yelp reviews and Golden Nail was near our hotel. We called to make an appointment and went on a Thursday morning. They really took great care of us! The mani and pedi was great on its own. We both got the Deluxe versions of both which came with scrubs, hot rocks, hot towel wraps, paraffin waxes and massages. The constant never ending massaging as each treatment was happening was so appreciated and amazing. It was a great experience and my skin is so soft and I was so relaxed afterwards. They have nice spa chairs as well. We are trying to figure out how soon we can come back to Seattle to go to Golden Nail again! The prices were very reasonable as well! read more

The color turned out real nice thanks to my nail technician recommendation on the color. The owner's name that goes by Lisa poured glue inside my eyes and dodged me for days to have it removed giving me all sorts of stupid reasons annnnd the day she did my lashes she gave me an eye drop that had expired. She's heartless and don't give two fucks about people's well-being. She does not sanitize anything she utilize in that so called lash studio! Even the room she's using does not qualify to be a lash studio. Pay more and keep your eyes safe!!!! Once it's gone its goneeeee. My doctor told me I could have lost my sight because of the toxic chemical she used to remove the lashes. I wandered into this salon since it was so near my house. I only had to wait 10 minutes to be serviced! I was shocked by the prices. I loved that they are economic. An express pedicure which includes foot soak, nail trim and file, cuticle cut, callus removal, and sugar scrub and massage was only $15!!!! I mean talk about good! I had a manicure and it was $10. The manicure was okay, the girl who did my hands was a little rushed. However the girl who did my pedicure was amazing. She truly cleaned my feet. Her name was Hannah. These guys are alright for nails. 100% do not recommend their lash service. The set that the lash tech applied was pretty and she did it quickly, but my eye swelled tremendously. Enough to wake me out of my sleep at 3a and keep me up all night. My son and I were scheduled for a photo shoot the morning after and I had to reschedule the whole thing. The tech was nice enough about it and removed my lashes immediately upon opening up shop the next morning. No refund was given, but she did offer a free pedicure. I'm here, at the salon getting said pedicure. They are charging me extra to get the deluxe, which is what I usually get. The service is fine... I don't think I will be returning after this tho. Literally the worst experience I've had at a nail salon! I'm so disappointed. It's not even 24 hours later and they look worse! I went into for a mani pedi and the lady who was doing my pedicure was amazing and did great which is why I'm even giving it a 2 star rating when it should be negative 5. The lady didn't even care and even laughed a bit. HOW RUDE! This was my finished product and I'm so annoyed but I don't even want to go back to get them to fix it because of how bullied I was. She ended up cutting my natural nails down much to my dismay and shaped it so weird! I said I wanted almond rounded! Well, I have been here a few times now. I have noticed that the service has changed quite a bit. I went yesterday 5/22/23 for maybe my 6th visit, and my nails are done horribly. Whenever I told them I wasn't happy with something, I was convinced it was 'fine'. It isn't fine. I got home, and my nails were not cleaned up, and one toe doesn't even have a second coat of paint in it. I likely will not be going back. I am disappointed! read more
