As a black woman who gets her nails done regularly I have never been treated this way in a salon before. I went in for a fill, the new product peeled off hours later. The tech didn't even cover the whole nail in polish. I went back in twice to get it fixed and each time I left worse than when I went it. I was told by a friend that this place was amazing and her nails do look good, I will give them that, but why did mine and it seems to every other woman of color, that I have talked to, received horrible service, horrible nails​, and swear never to go back. I am truley disgusting and appuled. Don't waste your time or money like I did only to be gaslighted, dismissed, and out $80.

The tech didn't even introduce himself. He found out I was from California and berated California the entire time and kept making snide comments. I asked several times about having the pedicure done at the same time and I was told that they couldn't do that because "we're not like California people come here to relax"- although I saw many staff and we're sitting around doing nothing. when I was done, I asked for a receipt that was itemized and they refused to give it to me. They upcharged my nine year-old niece and cut her cuticles so badly that she was bleeding in two places Upon check out at the desk, I insisted on a receipt which created dialogue with a man who wouldn't even look at me. He had tattoos and he was very short with me. He behaved like he didn't wanna be there when I kept persisting with the conversation. A customer started cursing me out telling me to get the F out and calling me several names. The staff did nothing to stop the situation. Tech left paint on my hands on my fingers and when I asked him to remove it he got the clippers out and started clipping my skin with the paint attached to it. Second, I picked out my color and wanted French tips. I'm guessing the nail tech was fairly new because he was not able to do a French tip that looked nice possibly because the nail was way too short. I went there for a pedi before vacation. I didn't even want my nails done but ended up getting them done cause I found such a cute glitter color that would have been so cute for tips. I paid $120 and am on my way to Walmart to get acetone to soak them off because I HATE THEM. Not to mention they are uneven, bumpy, and every single tip is pointed a different direction. I had lots of skincare products I had just purchased that I loved and had been using for a long time and my skin was in good condition so she showed me without pushing one bit.
