    Texas Fajitas Quesadilla
    Claire M.

Always a solid spot for Mexican food in Peachtree City! Most recently went on a Thursday night. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered guacamole which was subpar, but the chips & salsa was good. I got the Texas Fajitas Quesadilla which was a huge portion and very tasty. Overall, always a good experience here.

    BEANS.

Was just fantastic and I absolutely love this place. Cannot wait to come back every single week and make sure that I get the Baja nachos. No beans the best order you can ever get- classic Margarita is a great addition

skip this one! over priced and the food is unspectacular/bland. only one of us received our meal and the other was completely forgotten. fortunately the management was kind enough to give us a discount. i can look past slow service if the food is at least good. but with the way my stomach is now feeling, i want to stick my fingers down my throat and discard the few bites i ate!

    Roach in Taco Salad

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISGUSTED. My co workers and I went to this Mexican restaurant on our lunch break to have lunch as a group. The experience when we first sat down was overall decent nothing to rave about. We ordered our food everything was fine... until we got our food.... One of my coworkers ordered a taco salad. Pretty simple dish; meat, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and.... Beans. Well, one of the beans wasn't like the rest.... One bean was quite large and had LEGS... YEP SHE HAD A ROACH IN HER TACO SALAD. She was very calm and polite about the situation. She called our waiter over and showed him the bug. He simply grabbed the plate from her and walked away into the kitchen. We didn't see him again for a good 15 minutes. He never said anything to us again about the roach... not even an apology. To say the least we were all disgusted at this point. As we were finishing up another coworker noticed a black glob floating around in her drink... we fished the black blob out and put it on a napkin and what is it... MOLD. She had a large chunk of mold floating around in her sweet tea. I took the napkin with the mold on it to our waiter and another waitress that was with him and I said "We just found this in one of our drinks, it's mold" he takes the napkin from me and looks at it and then says "oh it's from the ice machine" I looked dead at him and told him they needed to clean their ice machine that's disgusting. I walked away after that, applauded that he would try to justify there being mold in our drink. He again did not say anything else and neither did the lady with him. No apologies were ever given. Moral of the story... DO NOT EAT HERE. Also I included a wonderful photo of the "bean"

We had the pork rind nachos to start. holy moly was it great. tangy, spicy, crunchy, salty. yum. then we split the pork chops over the grits (they added cheese for us) and that was also incredible. the food was just great. our server and the staff were young and very informative - Caden was our server, nice job Caden. The place is listed as a gastropub and i've never thought of it as such, and i suppose in some ways the food is but its so much better, and the atmosphere is definitely NOT that. It sort of made me laugh to actually see a LOT of babies there...their parents were there too - it just wasn't a bunch of babies having a night on the town. As a parent myself, it was nice to see families out with their kids and the kids were all pretty darn well behaved. All in all, VERY well done Curious Pig. I shall return.

It's always sad to me when this happens, because in my opinion having great food is the hard part. Seeing them excel in that but fail the easy stuff is hard :( What they struck out on: - host and hostess chatting when we walked up, they seemed to be complaining about something. We didn't receive any smiles. Didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Yes I understand it's a job, but warm welcomes are important and they are the first impression for a customer when they walk in. - It was 80 degrees and dreadfully humid outside since it had been raining. They had the doors open and I didn't see or feel any fans or air conditioning running. I saw a patron using a hand fan while we ate. - Since there was no air conditioning running, all the steam from the dishwashing and cooking in the kitchen came out to the dining area and lingered in the air the entire time we ate. We thought it was smoke at first but it didn't have a smell, when we walked out to leave I felt the steam leaving the kitchen area - Unbearably loud. I'm not sure why the acoustics are so bad but there is just nothing absorbing any noise. All the ruckus just echoes. Pretty sure this was mainly due to the tables being somewhat close together and the chairs having no sound buffers. It was suuuper loud when people got up to leave and when bussers were cleaning the tables. - Out of the fried green tomatoes which we were excited to order. - I ran out of water while eating. My drink didn't get filled until maybe 10-15 mins later. - Our waitress was running around, very busy. We didn't get checked on that much. It wasn't her fault. She was very courteous and was working hard. They seemed to not have enough staff on hand. - The napkins shed everywhere? When I opened my napkin a cloud of lint came up from it. It was all over my black shorts when we left. - Ends of the tables were all scratched up. - Decor is a bit of a hodgepodge. Having fake candles at each table for a place that gives southern farmhouse is an interesting choice. - The pimento cheese plate came with only 5 mini pieces of toast. We had to ask for more which was an upcharge. There's no way all the pimento cheese could be eaten on 5 pieces. Their home runs: - The food was amazing. I really liked the steak frites. I ordered the steak medium. It was nice and tender. The fries were seasoned and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was great. My friend and I both liked the pimento cheese and the bread that it came with. We weren't crazy about the house pickles. My friend loved her caesar salad. - The prices are great. Super affordable for high quality food. - Menu is expansive. - We had no wait to be seated. - No trouble parking. Location is convenient. As you can see, the list of cons is very very long. It was truly an odd thing to experience, since the place had such great food. I'm thinking the Curious Pig needs a restaurant management consultant or something? We might try this place again sometime later. We'll see.

With the construction at Aberdeen Village, it seems that the restaurants have reorganized a bit. We decided to check it out one Saturday. We parked on the lower level, as we assumed that was where you had to enter now. We did find the entrance, but from what we could tell / were told: - The lower entrance is for Partner's Bar and Grill, which is the (temporary?) incarnation of Partner's II Pizza during construction. - Y-Knots still exists on the upper level. There is an entrance up there, but parking is restricted due to construction and the entrance may not be that obvious... - There is an odd split level in the middle that is like a demilitarized zone - you can pass between the other two levels via stairs through here, but all the chairs are up on tables... - It is okay to order food from the upper level on the lower level - it appears they are both connected, management-wise (?). At any rate, we opted to climb the stairs up to the top level for our meal. We emerged here and found that the place was packed. This was because we had coincidentally showed up in parallel with a pub-crawl organized by the PTC Pirate Club, so they took up a full 1/3 of the space. They were winding down their visit as we got settled and ordered. We did get to hear part of a sea shanty. In our section, the tables were crowded together closely, but we were just able to get in and out. FFR, I don't think the pirate thing happens that often, so it was just blind coincidence for us. I assume that the place is usually slightly less jammed. A couple of the servers tag-teamed our table due to the rush. We were able to get our food fairly soon. They did a good job given the conditions. The food was good, but they didn't displace either of my 2 favorite burger spots in PTC. Prices were fairly reasonable. Under normal circumstances, if you were just looking for the standard sports bar experience, I think this would be fine. But park on the upper level.
