Heard a lot about this new restaurant in our neighborhood. Finally decided to go try it last week. We loved it! Great service, fantastic and fresh food with a creative menu. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and seated quickly. Our server Connor S. was quick to take our drink and app order as we began with the tomato & peaches burrata dish (be sure to try it on your visit). For entrees we selected the bucatini fritti and the radiatori alla vodka with Italian sausage. Both were outstanding as was the service and ambiance. We completed our meal by sharing the NY cheesecake and having a nice conversation with the GM roaming the restaurant. Well done by all as we look forward to many visits to our new hometown favorite.

I came here for a solo dinner and while I thought that overall the food was good, my whole dining experience here felt pretty inattentive. I do understand it was busy, however, it seemed as though the attentiveness was better for those around me and didn't feel very proactive. The hostess stand person was very helpful as I waited. Her & the woman who served me gelato were probably the only warm interaction I had. On to food, as I mentioned food was good! I ordered calamari & zucchini which was nice and crisp and a Caesar salad. Both of which came out pretty quickly which I appreciated. For main, I ordered the Pappardelle alla Genovese which was very fresh the tomatoes, the pasta, it was delicious(and again came out pretty soon after I placed my order).

Food was great and reasonably priced but service was not good and the drinks were overpriced ($13 for an easy Aperol Spritz). Had reservations and went to the bar while we waited for our table. The bartender took our Wine order and then started washing glasses in front of us! 6 min later he finished the dishes and pulled 2 glasses off the wall and poured our wine! Stupid. At the table waitress would come by every 20 min. Had to ask her to take our order. Food was late to the table and 2 meals were hot and 2 were warm at best. Hindsight we should have sent them back but we were hungry. Got our second glasses of wine when we were almost done with dinner (sat w empty wine glasses for at least 20 min). We might come back in 3 months once they get the service worked out. 4 people, one appy, 4 drinks, 4 pasta dishes and it was $170. Service did not stand up to the food. Try their takeout.

Everything on the menu is a must try. Coming here felt like dining in Italy. The drinks were refreshing and the food was breathtaking. The quality of ingredients will make you want to come back for more.

Great service at the bar with Carl. Diavolo Pizza with pepperoni, jalapeño, and ricotta plus wine were perfect.

We have some nice ones but Pascals will always be my favorite. It had been several years since we had dined here. It was the first time since the new owners. We had been once before when it was still transitioning from Pascal to the new owner. It was great to see that it was a popular destination even on a Thursday night. The decor has not changed very much, still very European feeling. Service was Top notch... Very attentive. There were several large groups celebrating. Different events are just getting together and it didn't seem to affect the pace of the kitchen or the service. The stuff founder was one of the best I've had. The fish was fresh and the saffron sauce was light in lovely. Not the best scallopini I've had but it was still delicious. I think the veal needed to be beaten more. They had a happy hour special of appetizers that went along with the drink specials, and on Thursday nights they have half price bottle wines. We decided on escargots for our appetizer since we were celebrating, don't get those very often. I wouldn't order them again... If you really love escargotes then they would be okay or you might be even more disappointed... Not in the garlicky butter stuff. That makes them so good. These we're a little gritty. The creme brulee was a pretty but not that flavorful. They still have special tasting nights. So that's good to see

The appetizers were outstanding. Since we were in the south, we had to try the Green Fried Tomatoes, which were good especially with the goat cheese garnishment . The Lobster Deviled Eggs were outstanding also. For entrees, our party had the halibut, the Steak au poivre, (2x, one medium and the other medium well) and the flounder. All of them were excellent, but special remarks must be given to the halibut. It was truly delicious. The deserts were a perfect closure. One negative comment: the wine availability was "meh". We ordered one bottle from the list that was not available. The substitution was ok. The white wine bottle we ordered as the seafood complement was adequate but did not match the otherwise extraordinary quality of everything else. We also had two very good cosmopolitans, with a local flare. Definitely will try those again. Will visit again when in the area!

I'd say it's not great for big groups, but the owner VIRGIL made it happen with our group of 12! We had trouble finding a spot that could keep us altogether, but he allowed us to sit in the wine cellar which was an awesome experience! SERVICE (5/5): The owners VIRGIL & CAROLINE are an amazing duo. Virgil's knowledge of wine and Caroline's pastry skills make for a deadly combination. Virgil also gives a tour of the house and history lesson which makes everything feel so personal. Hard not to love the place when they are so friendly. FOOD (4/5): They only serve light bites, desserts & drinks. Hands down the BEST CRACKERS I've ever eaten in my life. $8 CRACKERS (large size): trust me, you will want more! These are HOMEMADE and the best thing I've ever eaten. $8 PRETZEL BITES: perfect pairing while drinking! These are soft and served with a side of cheese. $15 SMOKED SALMON DIP: amazing dip and served with those delicious homemade crackers & some fresh grapes. A perfect paring. BROWNIE: best brownie I've had in a long time! She wouldn't disclose her secret ingredient, but it was a MINT brownie. I died! OVERALL (4/5): I love supporting this local business. The owners are wonderful, they only buy wine from women or minority owners and they have a great selection of wine and delectable food. This place is a hidden gem! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We ran up large checks and tipped our waitresses generously. While the flavor was good, the entrees were mostly sauce and little meat, but we continued dining here as the "only game in town." But our last visit made it our last time to ever dine there: The Basmati rice that accompanied our entrees was more insufficient than usual. I asked for "just a bit more" to mix with the sauce (all that was left) and they charged me for a full side order. I told them that they should really provide enough rice with the entrees, but the manager (and the waitress) got snippy about how expensive it is. I've been to India many times and have bought Basmati locally, so I know as "fill" that it's a very cheap portion of a $20 bowl of sauce with a few chunks of meat. We haven't been back since. The good news is that another much better (in our opinion), more authentic Indian restaurant has opened in the Kedron Shopping Center just left of Kroger. The ambiance is superior as is the food and the wait staff. And the rice that they provide makes a mound inside a long bowl, as compared to a sunken contour of the bowl at Star of India. We've dined there with the same couple many times and are absolutely delighted. What's more: we ran low on rice a couple of times and without our requesting it they brought another large mound without our even asking, and didn't charge us for a side order as did Star of India. And they offer a military that's double that of SOA.
