Don't give up on going into a Verizon Store! The store located at 3517 Columbia Parkway is fantastic! I have been to several stores in the past - but this is by far the best I have experienced. The customer service is excellent. No pressured sales and good information about the phones, accessories and plans. I followed up on a referral to this location and found it to be very clean with everyone wearing a mask and using safety protocols. I worked with was Kylyn - really knows his product, is polite and efficient! The Store Manager for this location is Corey who has also received positive feedback. We last minute decided to follow through and start a phone plan instead of month to month. There were only 2 other customers, and we were helped immediately. He wasn't knowledgeable about everything, but he asked his superior for help with each step. While we waited for things to process, they were very nice. It seemed strange that it was so empty, but I didn't mind. Overall, I've definitely had worse customer service experiences at other Verizon store. read more

So I have tried to get over this. But just can't let it go. When the iPhone 6s came out I called there asking if they had any for walk in customers on release day. They said sure and to just come on in. When I arrived I told them I was a looking for the phone and they said they had them, but because I was a walk in and did not pre order it. I would have to buy the "bundle package" which included a bunch a stuff I did not have a use for. If I remember correctly it was around $65. Regardless what the cost was, I thought it was unusual, as I had never had to do this before. They informed me this was the new policy. Instead of getting suckered by them. I decided to check around. I called the Apple Store at Kenwood and a Verizon store in Milford and both said that was not an policy and I did not need to buy anything else. Needless to say I felt scammed. Not cool. I went here to get an iPhone 11 Pro, and they were out of stock, but quickly got my information and ordered one for me that they said would arrive within 2 days, and that I'd get a call when it arrived. 4 days later, I called to see what the status was, and they told me there was no record of the order ever being placed, and that the phone was now back-ordered and I would have to wait 3-4 weeks to get it. I went back to work, and my coworker told me that he had ordered the same phone the day after I had "ordered" mine, and that they had just called to let him know it was ready for pickup. I visited this store tonight to inquire how to make a claim on the insurance I purchase through my plan to replace broken, lost, or stolen smartphones. There was one man in the store with no name tag who started off helpful enough, and I was appreciating the information he offered. He mentioned a deductible to replace my broken phone. When I asked how much it would be, he informed me it would be $150. This stunned me, because anytime I had even minor problems with the phone(s) I purchased directly from Apple, with no insurance, the Genius Bar reps always gave me a replacement refurbished phone right away, free of charge. I said, "I don't think I'll be purchasing this insurance anymore." That was my exact remark. This is where it all started to go badly. This man then started lecturing me about why it's a better choice to buy the insurance. I tried a few times in a relatively lighthearted but firm way to communicate my mind was made up (explained that I've never actually lost a phone or broken a screen in the 10 years I've owned phones, etc, not really wanting to get into the fantastic service I always got from Apple directly), but he continued to go on and on, even saying, " I don't know why we're even debating this," which obviously was another way of saying he thought I was making a stupid choice. And on and on. As he continued along his monologue, he became increasingly visibly annoyed with me (I stopped talking and just let him rant). The condescension was unprofessional and tiresome. I don't recommend going to this store unless you're prepared to be happy to do whatever they recommend. read more

This Verizon store is as good as it gets! The employees here are as nice as can be, not to mention quick and efficient at what they do so it doesn't feel like you are spending your whole day at the store! Their focus seems to be primarily on customer service rather than getting a sale, they aren't happy unless you are. All the other Verizon stores that I have been to in the area do not even compare with this location! Definitely a very "at home" feel of a place. read more

I called this store a while back, told them I had an iphone 6 that was ordered and bought directly from the Apple Store online. It was not connected to any carrier yet (it was a gift and the person who purchased it wanted me to be able to choose my carrier myself), it needed to be assigned to one (So in other words it needed a Verizon SIM card). They told me they couldn't help me... which is not true...I went to Sprint. read more

Bought an iPhone from the owner/manager Mike. The screen had been replaced with a very low quality part, and soon after taking it home, stopped working. I got ahold of him to see if he would take care of his customer and either fix the screen with a higher quality part, or refund my purchase, I was promptly told to take a hike, and said "Sorry about your troubles." Never visiting The Cellular Connection again. I would definitely go to a real Verizon store next time, versus using an authorized retail store. Buyers definitely beware! read more
