We stumbled upon this creamery while driving through Hendersonville. Actually on our way to downtown Hendersonville. Of course because we love ice cream we had to try it!! We were NOT DISAPPOINTED in the least. Ice cream is made daily, in fact while we were there it was being made! The selection of flavors were good, definitely not 31 flavors which was just fine bc the flavors offered covered all one needs. For the price, OMGosh the serving size is OUTSTANDING (single serving in the cup)!!! We were in ice cream heaven. We thought for the price of a sundae it was a bargain especially the size of it (I took pics of some from a couple ladies who bought one). The young gals were very friendly with excellent customer service - Cassie especially. The taste was delicious and very creamy packed with flavor. They also make mini donuts which goes in one of the sundaes they offer but I was also told during Apple season, they are Apple flavored. Definitely already planning a return visit in October. Also plenty of space to eat inside and out on the patio. They do have a drive through too and ample parking behind the shop. read more

Not for the faint of heart or anyone on a diet. Wonderful sundaes with great toppings. My husband will stop by and pick up two sundaes with two different flavors. Excellent ice cream! Amazing flavors and fun sundaes. The strawberry tastes like real strawberries. The vanilla tastes like real vanilla. The butter pecan is uniquely flavored. We loved the fresh homemade mini donuts and each got a scoop (which was plenty). Great specialty flavors. Very good ice cream!! It's Irish, so a little different than what we were used to, and we think it was better! It's also made in house. You can sample flavors. Easy parking, great for kids. After a day of hiking in Dupont State Park & Pisgah National Forest, ice cream sounded pretty good! The Celtic Creamery makes their cream in house and the quality difference is absolutely noticeable. Flavors rotate depending on season - I went with a scoop of key lime and a scoop of strawberry. Very refreshing, creamy and the flavors very bright. Really great creamy ice cream. Reminds me of Dingle Ice Cream in Ireland. Their shakes are amazing. Great spot to hangout and enjoy the day.

Service was rather quick and we ate outside. However walking in, that green wall pops you right in the eyes don't definitely gives a modern ice cream parlor vibe. The ice cream is great, I couldn't keep my daughter off of my rootbeer float and the donuts were delicious as well. Ice cream sandwhich was explained to me as very good as well but the cookie is a bit chewier than it looks which was unexpected. All around definitely recommend for a local ice cream shop. read more

When we arrived, the smell and the business were wonderful. The staff of teenagers were delightful and efficient. Customer service was on point, and the Carolina Cooler Sunday was an amazing plethora of flavors and toppings that made you feel like slapping somebody. I sampled several of ice cream flavors that I am very picky about as not very many ice cream makers rarely get perfect. The butter pecan was delicious. The Irish Cream ice cream was absolutely amazing. I also tried a (a new flavor for me) Sea bees, sea salt caramel and honey that was also very good. My husband enjoyed the chocolate chip mint. The little warm homemade donuts were very tasty. The dining area was older but clean. The bathroom was clean. Would recommend this ice cream experience. read more

The ice cream is blah. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is ho-hum. And the cinnamon donuts are awesome. One bonus is that it stays open later than most other ice cream places in the area, but there is no uniqueness to the taste of the ice cream (imo). I don't really know what happened to the ice cream from when I first tried it but it's different now. I can't think of any other comparison than maybe xanthan gum and too much of it? The Carolina Cooler sundae was absolutely delicious!! We chose the Sea and Bee ice cream and the Irish Butter Pecan ice cream with caramel sauce! Great little ice cream place! We went through the drive-through for a dessert while we drove around town. We all got milkshakes, and my butter pecan was very good. the kids got Sea and Bee milk shakes which really just tasted like sweetened milk. The service was so kind and the line moved quickly.
