This is one of THE BEST spots for grits I've had in the greater Atlanta area Now the wait for food was longer than expected esp since it wasn't a packed restaurant. But once I had those cheese grits it made up for the wait lol. I will be back for the catfish and cheese grits for sure. The breakfast platter was good and I liked the size of the pancakes but Cracker Barrel still had the best and these came in Top 3 . Definitely loved supporting a black owned establishment and will be returning plus letting others know of this gem.

OMG! I love it when a last minute decision becomes a great choice!! we will be back and probably sooner rather than later. Everything was excellent. Service was fabulous- Tam could not have been better. Black excellence in service and food quality. Best oatmeal hands down and the spinach quiche has a great texture and flavor. Don't sleep on this. Hubby said the beef sausage is good- new experience for him--"Excellent" he said.

WOW! What a great breakfast place. From the moment you walk in the team is supper friendly and helpful. Overall it is a cool place, the ambiance is a vibe. They have seating options both inside and outside. I ordered the Hash-brown casserole with the breakfast bowl and the honey chicken biscuit. Both were great! The hash-brown casserole is a must! The flavor was wonderful and the addition of the fried egg, bacon and cheese only elevated it. The biscuit was flakey and the chicken had great flavor...add the egg and cheese and it just took it over the top. I also got a latte, which was nice to have during the wait for the food. It is not fast food, it definitely took a bit to get my food, not a complaint because it was absolutely with the wait, just a heads up if you are in a rush. It may have just been the morning I was there, but they had plenty of staff, so I think they care so it takes some time.

Easy to find, great parking, there was a rug at the door that the host watched us trip over and didn't apologize or move it. Took a while for the waitress to address us even though there were only 3 other parties in the establishment. When she did come over she was friendly and explained the menu very well. She didn't bring our drinks over, she completely forgot. We only ordered two waters and a coffee. Then I ordered the vegan dish which included vegan sausage which I ordered. My plate came out with vegan bacon instead. I requested my sausage and heard the cook say we don't have it. I've had much better vegan dishes. I took it from two stars to 3 because the other person I was with said her breakfast casserole was delicious! This was a great find but I won't be back.

We came here after not being seated at another popular brunch spot! We were so glad we came!!! Most of us are from out of town. They welcomed us in, took our orders and served us with a smile and SUPERB customer service. Everything was good and the only good left was from folks who were full! Note, the chicken salad has craisins in it. IT WAS DELICIOUS! Try everything! Salmon Croquettes, shrimp n grits, omelets! All delicious. We have nothing but great things to say about this spot. Great work and many blessings for success!

Cute little bistro with a nice outdoor area. I had a catfish po' boy, and not only was it beautiful to look at, but it was delicious! The servers were very nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend and will be back when I am in the area. I really want to come back and try the breakfast.

In the 5 years we have lived in the area we have been here only twice. Once in year Ike and it was a terrible experience. Took almost 4 hours for brunch for two people. Food was incorrect. We were the only ones when we arrived and people who arrived after us were served and left before we ever even got our food. We decided it was terrible and never planned to come back. Skip to this past weekend we are in the middle of packing up our home and moving and really wanted a breakfast sandwich for a brunch break but didn't want fast food like Dunkin. So we decided to give it a try. We arrived post church hours so it was busy but we were seated outside immediately. Staff was far more friendly this time. Still not very quick but much faster by far (we were there about 2 hours which is reasonable) our services whose name I did not catch could not have been nicer. We ordered a hash bowl (4/10-it was kind of mushy and the plated they served it in kind of made it look like dog food unfortunately) and French toast which was fine. Nothing special (5/10) but the star was the chicken honey biscuit. That was excellent (10/10) I may go back for another this week for much. My husband had major order envy. I do restored asking for it to come with a larger plate Becca's service it on a Saucer and it is messy. I will want to mention that while we were there the tarp that covered the patio tore and that sent what I assume was collected old dirty rain water shooting down. We *all* got lucky and it didn't hit anyone or any tables but it was very close to us. They offered to let us move tables but it was over by the time they noticed and did so so we stayed where we were assuming it would not happen again. Had that hit us it would have ruined our time as it was dirty water...you may want to consider adding a real roof or removing tarp and letting it just be an uncovered pergola to avoid future issues - had it actually hit us I would ahve expected our meal to be comped so we could leave to go shower immediately...thankfully this is not a conversation or experience we had to have but please consider making needed changes in the future.

Such a cute coffee shop with a cozy vibe! I had the turkey bacon breakfast bowl so flavorful and filling. I also tried the iced white chocolate coffee, which was a great recommendation from the cook and did not disappoint. There's parking available, which is always a plus, although I did have a little trouble finding the location at first. Definitely worth checking out once you find it!

The workers are super friendly. They all greeted me and were full of smiles. My server took my order and even after he placed my order another employee came to check on me to make sure I was being served. That was sweet. My server was very nice too. I went around 1230pm so it was more on the empty side but had a very relaxing environment. This was the best omelette I had in a very long time!! The eggs had such a pretty color. I wondered if it was vegan eggs with how pretty it was. But my oh my. I need to bring more people to eat here. I will be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know. I will definitely be back again. They all told me goodbye when I left too. All around I was very impressed with my experience here. Keep the employees as happy as you do owner.

My fiancé, cousin, and I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before going to six flags so we decided to check this place out. It was a cute cafe style restaurant and we were able to get seated right away. Our server was great. I got the honey chicken egg sandwich and my cousin got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and both of our biscuits were tasty but extremely buttery. My fiancé got the breakfast burrito and he liked it but said it was a bit too oily. Overall we did enjoy the meals and if we were in town again, we would go back.

Saturday mornings are my coffee shop escape days. I love finding small, quiet places to sip piping hot coffee and reading, or quietly chatting with new acquaintances. Some shops, however, do no provide the peace-filled ambiance needed to relax and get your creativity juices flowing. So I was pleasantly surprised when on this lovely cool Sat morning I happened upon Cenacle in Austell, GA. The background music was set at a level just right to focus inward and block out any conversation you have no need to hear. The customers were equally respectful, not loud or obnoxious, rather just enjoying the mood, the food, and each other's company. Oh, and let's talk food... I came for coffee..let me recommend the Turtle Latte; I had less pumps because I don't like a lot of sweetness, so the Barista made me a designer cup of perfection. Later I decided the menu looked just to yummy to pass up, so ordered a Cenacle Breakfast bowl for $ 7.49. This delicious platter of creamy grits topped with an egg, cheese, bacon, and herbs had to have been the most perfectly seasoned food I've ever had in a restaurant. That says a lot folks, because I have been in some top culinary cuisine restaurants in America. To have a dish sat in front of you that did not need any table seasoning is remarkable. These folks know how to serve food! I highly recommend you stop in to Cenacle for a designer coffee, designer food, and pleasant ambiance...all provided by a lovely, welcoming staff. read more

This ended up being a nice meeting spot. The woman working was really funny and entertaining. I'm not a big fan of medium roast coffee, but it is actually good here. Some of the best I have had in a long time. I tend to stick to light roast because I got tired of dark. Good customer service and good coffee go a long way. After all, I guess this is the ATL. Oh, and they serve food which smells amazing!!! read more

Where do I begin. Cute little coffee breakfast shop. Great prices and the food was excellent across the board. I had the breakfast bowl and for 3.99 I could barely finish it. My sister said the tuna sandwhich was really good. Coffe I see great also. But the best part is the amazing service we received. The cashier was extremely helpful and nice, and the woman working the coffee and getting food out to people was the same. Will definitely be back. read more

Not so good today! The floor was greasy I could move my feet without picking them upbrewed coffee was more like coffee water, I tried ordering the quiche of the day-nope out of it; I tried ordering a pecan waffle-nope out of batter‍so they made pecan French toast-it was tasty but I really wanted a waffle! Hubby's biscuit had to have been baked yesterday cause he said it was very hard! So wanted to like this place cause the reviews were so good but we will drive on by from now own. read more

This is absolutely the best coffee I have ever had and the food is delicious especially the homemade pastries. The atmosphere is so comfortable and family-friendly. This is a nice quaint coffee house... actually this is the ONLY coffee house in the area... nice ambiance good coffee but it is a bit pricey if you are on a budget this may not be the place for you to frequent everyday but everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is friendly and there are specials that you can take advantage of. But this place is still on the same playing field as a Starbucks as far as pricing goes... the coffee is comparably good to Starbucks and is a little less but overall I don't drink the extravagant coffee I just like a nice cup of joe and a nice ambiance sometimes and this is the only coffee house inside the city limits or Austell... enjoy if you are in the area because it's nothing else like it!!! read more

I visited this terrific coffee shop today for the first time. Wow. I'm super picky about my coffee and the girl who made my coffee did an expert job. I'm truly impressed. I also tried their honey bun coffee cake (with, admittedly, low expectations). Was I ever wrong! Moist and delicious. I'm only sorry I haven't visited sooner. Stopped in on a Wednesday and had the chicken and waffle special. Cost around eight bucks with a medium coffee, and was very good! The dish came with two whole wings and a nice waffle. The young people working the front counter were friendly and helpful. I will be returning to try other dishes and referring this place to friends. read more

The Cenacle is wonderful so far. I had a wonderful breakfast sandwich, bacon,egg and cheese on a croissant. The egg was nicely scrambled, the bacon tasted perfect, the cheese was real cheddar cheese, not sliced and thrown on the sandwich like other places. The croissant was fresh and buttery. The customer service is outstanding and it is beautiful and comfortable inside. It was so great, I came back for lunch. read more

I Love small businesses and I love supporting good people. After a morning of errands we decided to stop by this cute coffee house in Austell. It has plenty of parking. Free WiFi. Very cozy spot to grab a coffee and a sweet. I like to think that I am a coffee connoisseur. So when I got here I ordered a white chocolate mocha latte, very good. I like my drinks a little hotter, but it's not a negative. My wife ordered a raspberry tea. Very tasty. And we shared a keylime cake. It was mpist and delicious. This is a hidden treasure in Austell! We just moved here and were thrilled to discover this cute little coffee shop. It has a very "small business" feel to it. The ambiance is great for studying. My favorite part is the hours (6am-10pm). I got some hot tea and it was delicious. They have smoothies, lattes, the whole range of coffee drinks, pastries, and food. The staff are delightful. It's clean. Wifi is free and fast. There is an additional parking lot in the back so there is plenty of parking. There is also a meeting space that can be reserved (first hour is free, additional hours are $40). I would recommend this coffee shop, especially to the local residents! read more

I expected better services upon entering the cafe. A simple, " Good morning" with a warm smile would have been suffice. The young girl was working by herself and seemed quite flustered which I'm sure was the reason for her lack of customer service. After looking at the menu and seeing that Vegan options were available I was excited and disappointed all at the same time because they were out of everything that I asked for. I ended up leaving with a coffee just do show a little support for a small business but will probably not return. read more

I love this place!!! The staff is very nice. Coffee is always fresh. It's a great place to chill for a bit. We are considering stopping here every morning instead of going to Dough in the box across the street because of their quick service and less pushing from staff to join a reward program. Reading the menu online I was very excited for a quick, and tasty breakfast. Upon arriving parking is accesible as they have an extra lot in the back. The inside is clean, and comfortable to stay and eat. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, grits, and chai latte. The latte took about 20 minutes to make, and surprisingly had zero flavor, essentially being hot water. There were only 3 tables filled in the cafe, but unfortunately it seemed like the kitchen and front staff were extremely overwhelmed. I was with a small group, and all our food came out separately with huge time gaps in between. It seems like back of the house was prioritizing door dash orders, when they had very hungry customers inside. My friends order took almost 2 hours to come out (keep in mind they literally just ordered eggs, grits, and hash-browns) When brought up to the front staff, the cashier did not apologize, or offer an explanation simply saying that it would come out soon. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because my croissant was good, but in no way justified just the long wait, and lack of good service. If you're still set on eating here, I recommend ordering ahead for a hopefully better experience. read more

My son and I visited for brunch. I was so thankful to see yummy, made to order vegan options. The customer service was awesome and the coffee was Delicious. The jazz music was a nice special touch. You should definitely give them a try. My son loved his wings as well! read more

Also, advised the Mexican girl that it will be only 3 but, we don't have to wait for her cause she's not gonna be eating since we're on a time schedule and was attending an event. The hostess was very rude and dismissive, stating "that's not how it works" in an unprofessional tone. Later, another hostess came over and said our reservation had "run over" at 6:35 PM, even though we were already in the restaurant before our reservation time window had passed and there were clearly open tables available. The restaurant wasn't packed at all. When we asked again about a table for two, we were told we could either sit at the bar or wait. The interaction felt very unwelcoming and unprofessional. We told the hostess we wanted a table for two to sit down and eat . The black hostess said , so you want to stay at the bar or you want a table . I said a table. She said , the bar ‍I said no a table. She then said that they could refuse service if we had an attitude, which was not the case . I simply answered her question by saying no . Told her I didn't know that saying no is me having an attitude. At that point, we chose to leave and not spend our money there due to the poor customer service and the rudeness of the hostess. Overall, the staff we interacted with on June 20th at 6:15 PM were rude and unprofessional and clearly need better customer service training. Based on this experience, I understand why there are so many negative reviews.

What is described as a "hidden gem" in Austell should be described atleast on a customer service level when it comes to delivery as a gem that should stay hidden. Not only did it take well over 40 minutes for a delivery order (a simple order requiring only 2 items) to be prepared i observed a delivery driver be scolded by apparent management in customer service (i.e. attitude and body language). From an observing point of view the driver asked only 1 time how long before the order would be ready so she could inform her customer of the status. We also observed another driver leave without her order as another employee told her "we didn't confirm your order we don't know why you're here".. Is this really how a small town business should treat drivers that are delivering to THEIR customers? I think not... read more

My friend and i were dining at this location today and to start they attempted to serve us someone elses order. Then seemed to have an attitude because they brought us the wrong food. After getting it corrected the "manager" scolded a delivery driver who had been quietly waiting since before we walked in. Mind you two other drivers came and left while this one sat quietly waiting. My daughter and i ordered for delivery this morning from this establishment. The order was suppose to be ready approx 10:25ish... Our delivery person didn't receieve our order until almost 20 min past the pickup time. Next time it will be quicker to go to a drive thru smh read more
