The Cenacle is my favorite cafe in Austell because the food is great and the price is even better! I visited The Cenacle for a late brunch date and it did not disappoint! There are a few parking spaces in the front of the restaurant but there is a parking lot in the back of the restaurant--and it's all free! There is free WiFi for customers. While it does take a bit of time to get your food as it is cooked to order, it comes out fresh and hot! My breakfast bowl and waffles were delicious. I was only able to eat half of the breakfast bowl so I took the other half home. The waffles were crisp and good to the last bite!! This place is now a go to place! I highly recommend it! read more

First time going here. They only had outside seats available at the back so the host took us there. After waiting for about 40 minutes we decided to leave. The host did come out one time to see if anyone took our order and nope. Honestly it sucks that it was a disappointment. The food actually seemed good, but their service is horrible. The ambience that Cenacle provides is very inviting and warm. There is someone always greeting you when you enter. You can either dine in or order straight from the counter if you are looking for a to-go option. I dined in because I wanted to enjoy my breakfast and coffee during while getting some work done on my computer. They do have free wifi and plenty of tables either outside or indoors. I ordered the breakfast platter with french toast and turkey bacon. They gave a satisfying portion of scrambled eggs included in the platter. The french toast was used using sandwich bread, so a bit flatter than your normal thick and fluffy toast. They have syrup packages on the side so that you can pour syrup onto your toast or waffle. The turkey bacon was also good! I believe the customer service here is top notch and they really make you feel comfortable. I would go here again to enjoy breakfast or brunch with friends or family. read more

The food was good, but my overall complaint is with the customer service of one employee in particular. Such a nice place for a Sunday afternoon meal. The staff was nice and attentive, and the food was yummy! Nice location with good parking.

This was a very pleasant experience! The customer service was great, the food was great, and the prices are great! The ambiance is comfy neighborhood cafe complete with jazz music playing softly in the background. This is definitely someplace you could come with your laptop and get some work done. They serve breakfast all day and have a variety of rotating desserts so if you see a dessert you like, buy it right then so you don't miss out! I had the breakfast bowl with bacon (you can choose any meat you like), the hash brown casserole and strawberry cheesecake cake. The cake was amazing, if you ever see it in the dessert window, get it! I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu very soon! read more

Just ok . Our waiter kept forgetting our order and it was not even super busy at the time . We ordered coffee drinks and kept having to ask for napkin. Our food was just ok - we didn't like that the menu did not have any description of the meals , for example I ordered salmon and grits and my grits tasted like it had honey in it . Had I known the grits would have been sweet I would not have asked to add cheese to it . Also the waiter gave us a miniature plastic knife and fork set which was flimsy but when we looked around all of the other tables everyone else had regular silverware which we thought was odd .The place itself is cozy and quaint every seemed friendly and nice , although service was super slow (our waiter) . I just think there are better cafes in the atl area you Can check out instead . This place is just eh . I think if they made some simple changes such as adding a description to the food and training the wait staff to check in on the patrons would help . Wow! Perfect little find right around the corner. I was looking for a ducked off spot to grab coffee and found this hidden gem. The coffee was good and the space was intimate. I noticed people were eating and their menu had some items that looked tasty so I decided to go back a couple of days later to get the omelette that my neighbor was indulging on. This has to be the worst restaurant ever!!! Very poor service. They must only employee family as their servers. When you walk in the door, the servers give you dirty looks as if they are dreading that you chose to patronize their restaurant. This is my 3rd time there all 3 times I received horrible service. Today was the icing on the cake. My son and I was their third table to dine in. Not busy at all. It took them forever to bring our drinks because they had to make more sweet tea. So, you don't make the product until its ordered, no big deal. We place our order, order comes eggs are cold hard and garnished with parsley. I ask for butter and more eggs without the green stuff on them. The replies in a rude tone, its parsley. I respond ok, I don't want parsley on my eggs. The vegan omelette was sooooo good!!! Was pleasantly surprised, the vegan eggs n cheese we're delicious with a mix of peppers, tomatoes, black olives, spinach, mushrooms, onions and I also added vegan bacon inside. So this was our (girlfriend & I's) first time going to Cenacle and it was a great visit. Donna was great and full of life with eventful stories to tell as we waited for our meal and her accent is dope! As far as the meal goes it was very flavorful especially the shrimp and grits which was covered with butter and so many juices. The waffles were nice and fluffy (with I believe a hint of cinnamon unless that was my syrup) and the chicken wasn't fried too crispy and fell right off the bone. But yesterday my bf ordered it through Ubereats and it took almost 2 hours to get our food and I live 5 minutes away. Saturday 1/18/2020 breakfast menu. We walked into a clean restaurant with people having a decent time chatting. The young lady behind the counter was very nice but clueless. We are plant-based, but we decided to go here to try the Vegan Breakfast Platter. So we asked what all came on the platter? She replied with, "it comes with your choice of meat, sausage, bacon, ham, etc. Eggs any way you like. My wife and I were puzzled. So I asked if they have a tofu scramble for the eggs or did they have vegan sausage. She had no idea what tofu was, nor if the sausage was vegan or not. So I order pancakes. She asked how many pancakes did I want? I told her I wanted 3 pancakes. My wife ordered hashbrowns and a Danish. So the bill came up to $17. My wife paid for my birthday, and we just thought the food was a bit pricey. So the waiter is walking towards our table with 3 plates with 2 pancakes on each plate. Again were very puzzled. So I told the waiter, a young-looking guy, that I only ordered 3 pancakes, not 3 orders of pancakes. He stated that the cashier was new and probably didn't understand me, but never offered to refund my money. The only reason I didn't raise up was that they were actually very good. So I took the other 3 pancakes home. He brought me the syrup container and it was sticky with syrup running down the sides. I went to pick it up and it was stuck to the table. I wanted biscuits and gravy with no meat. The chef came out with a face full of sweat and said they were out of biscuit gravy, but he could create something for me. They came out with one small biscuit cut in half with chicken gravy on it. One bite and I was disgusted. The salt was overbearing. I left it on the table and refused to pay for it. I don't eat dairy, however they ran out of eggs and had to make a store run. How do you run out of eggs on a Saturday morning? So even though the place was clean, it is very poorly run/managed. It's a great idea in a nice area, but you have to hire people that are trained properly. I will NEVER return. I'll stick with IHOP and Cracker Barrell. read more
