Thank goodness I found Nathalie. What an experience. From the moment I walked in, her smile and kind hearted fun loving personality filled the room. I've had 5 haircuts so far and now come every two weeks. I've also added some manscaping to the repertoire and have been thrilled with the haircut, styling, conversation, atmosphere, getting in and out in 30 minutes and the most incredible head massage with a warm towel you will ever have. Well I read about this place a while ago. I actually sound like one of the other reviews on here. I have had the same girl doing my hair forever and needed a new place down here. I Didn't like what I had found around here and was desperate to find someone I could trust and could get my hair how I wanted . Well I saw the great reviews again so I booked at The Chair . I messaged through Yelp and set everything up with Nathalie through that (which was great). Plain and simple if you are a guy that gets their haircut with any frequency because you care about how your hair looks. This is the place! She is super friendly, warm and sincere personality with a genuine smile. She is impressively efficient, washes your hair , hot towel while the rinse after your cut (that's a very thorough scalp massage rinse) and then a blow dry and style. Listen, you will get a great haircut here. That's a 100% given. But the reality is you are getting star treatment from a specialist. She hits every single thing you would want from a stylist. Let her know what you want and she already knows what to do. She is located in the District which means you can get in and out easy or chill out and enjoy some of the other spots around. Outstanding service by a true professional in Nathalie. She's cut my hair 3-4 times now and I'm impressed every time. She's thorough and will even cut shorter after finishing if you want it shorter. Other stylists have given me grief if I said it was still too long after the cut, not Nathalie! Nathalie is not only an expert at men's haircuts she is super friendly and easy going through the whole process. I decided to make the leap from my former long time stylist and could not be happier (and I have only been here once!) that I ventured over to The Chair. She listens to what I want, understands and predicts how my hair will grow then executes the perfect style that looks fresh until my next visit.
